This is not necessarily about this location. I had a 6am mobile pickup and the app did not work for pickup or drop off. I added a utility dolly and a furniture dolly to my order. Neither of them were in the truck. Thankfully, the utility dollies were just sitting outside of the store so I just took one. I could not get the furniture one since the were closed at 6am. The other major disappointment was that they would not let me pick the truck up with my newly issued Iowa paper license. I spent over 45 minutes on the phone to try to talk to someone and got transferred multiple times before the finally let me do it. They said that I either have to provide an alternate driver or wait until the store opens which was not until 9am (3 hours after my pickup time). The contract that was issued does not state anything about having paper or plastic drivers license. They should have that up front because I am pretty sure they deal with this a lot since all of their clientele are people that are moving. I did not have Amy interaction with this specific location other than the fact that they did not have the equipments I ordered ready in the truck.Ahmed A.
I picked up the uhaul with it on empty! Had to put gas in the truck before I even moved. Then they charged my credit card 60.00 for gas. It had more gas in it then when I picked it upJENNIFER U.
Make sure the truck is clean and doesn't have items inside it. When I told the 2 people working inside they acted like they weren't going to do anything about the items left in the truck before us. They were more worried about going out and smoking a cigarette. In the past I have gotten charged for a couple miles over the distance, yet when I brought it back this time a mile under they didn't credit the .79 to me. They said it was at 60 miles but it wasn't when I pulled it up and parked it. Also, we filled the tank at the 1/4 mark like it was when we left and they charged us $10 for 2 gallons of gas. I am not sure why it didn't read that amount when they looked at it because we got gas across the street. I have paid a lot of money in the past years for uhaul trucks. If I decide to rent in the future, I sure hope all of this doesn't happen again. It happy with my rental experience today.CHRISTINE B.
Nothing out of the Moline location was on time. There were delays with drop offs which weren't the biggest deal, but there was also a delay with pick up. This was a huge deal considering we were closing on our house and 4 containers were still sitting in my driveway. I spoke with a representative multiple times leading up to my pick up date to ensure it was going to be on time. No one ever contacted me to tell me they weren't picking up my boxes. I called them and they told me they weren't coming due to an issue with their truck from the day before. They said they would be there between 8 and 10 the next morning and never showed. They never contacted me to attempt to resolve the issue. Thankfully the people purchasing my home were understanding because those boxes sat there for 4 additional days with no contact other than an automated email when they were finally picked up. I dealt with the Harligen location for my delivery and they were fantastic. They communicated with me and were able to reschedule and deliver based on my needs. They had a truck maintenance issue as well but kept me in the loop and made it a priority to deliver on a service that I paid a lot of money for. The Moline location treated it like they were doing me a favor and I could wait as long as they needed.Erin B.

Everything with the usual location and truck was great. However, the movers utilized through the uhaul network could not have been worse. They damaged both the old and new home as well as significant amounts of property. QC Cleanup was unprofessional and had no idea what they were doing.NICHOLAS C.

Truck had dangerous shimmy when braking, significant jumping on road from shimmy. Very unsafe. Doors didn't close fully and wind/road noise was so loud so I had to put ear phones in to block the sound. Governor on speed was dangerous and left me pinned between swaying vehicles on several occasions. Very stressful travel.JOSEPH H.

I picked up the truck with less than a 1/4 Tank of fuel and I do not consider this a great customer service. Regardless if it is an intown move or not, it should have more than 1/4 tank of fuel prior to the customer picks it up to make their day run as smooth as possible.JOSHUA B.
Drop off was super easy! All we had to do was turn in the key. No one even had to come out and inspect the truck or the car dolly. We were in and out within two minutes!Adam D G.
Make sure your trucks are clean. I found dirty tissues in the cab and wrappers. In the back it had lots of sand in it. When I dropped it off they wanted to charge me a cleaning fee. I cleaned it out. When we picked it up they said it had 1/2 tank of gas. IT WAS EMPTY. Thank goodness my son took a picture because they also tried to charge me for gas. Not using them ever again.CYNTHIA B.

Requested walk through with the vehicle to inspection for damage and learn important usage and safety feature but was told this wasn't allowed. I didn't receive anything regarding current damage and was told to just report new damage. The damage that I saw was very minor consisting of scratches and dings and many but not all had stickers on them.KURT K.

We waited a half hour in the truck when we returned it. We eventually called the main office where the rep. Called the store and told the manager that we were waiting to return . A sales representative did eventually came out and she finished or rental return. (She did have a problem with the trailer not being able to drop one of the ramps but did get it.)Charles W.

We received a phone call to see if we could come and pick up from another place other then the one we scheduled for, because they didn't have a truck getting there for are time. Truck was filthy on the inside and had several locations of undocumented damage. When we picked up, the â€œcontactless â€œ pickup was not set up (only appears so). The truck had a dolly and moving blankets from the previous renter. When my husband went into the store to report this no one was in the in store. They didn't seemed concerned that they were left inside and that we didn't want them (didn't want to be charged). Also, the truck did not come with the amount of gas on the paperwork.EMILY R.

After turning in the rental trailer, we were told it would be 30 minutes or so before we got a confirmation email. The manager helped us and did not give us anything in writing to prove we turned the trailer in. The next day, the trailer still hadn't been scanned in and we had to drive back there again to get someone to help us. Disappointing for sure, as I'm sure uhaul would have held us liable if something happened to the equipment after we had turned it in but before we went back and made them scan it in. Second time I've had issues with this place. Never again.James B.

To begin we were guaranteed a 20ft truck (the only size that would work for moving to a new state) at a specific location nearby. The day before pick-up we were contacted and told that truck size doesn't exist at the guaranteed location and we could drive to a further location for a 15 ft truck (way too small!) They should've delivered the truck to our location instead of making us drive 3 hours round trip, taking 3 hours out of a workday and losing us that part of a days paycheck and wasting our time and stress. Once we got the truck unloaded and headed to the storage unit we'd pre-registered and that was included free with our one way truck rental, the trouble and headaches kept coming. We were originally given a 10x5 at another facility, but when we got to the unit, it's actual measurements were 5x5, even the worker said that happens, that U-Haul's dimension of storage spaces don't always match the dimensions they advertise them as, he measured it for us for confirmation. We had to call customer service (plus 15 minutes of in hold time) to locate another facility with the size we needed because the store was unable to look it up or call them. We had no way of double-checking with the new facility whether they actually had the unit available in that size, and the worker at the one we were at wasn't able to for us (ridiculous they can't call another store locally to check!). We had to blindly drive to the new facility. Upon arrival, check-in was smoothish. The young man wasn't thorough and missed some things we had to correct for him. Then he sent us to our unit and forgot to come unlock our unit for us so we had to go remind them we were there 30 minutes later to which the guy said he'd forgotten we were there. He didn't warn us of the sticky trap on the floor of the unit or point it out at all so I accidentally stepped on it moving something into the unit and ruined the bottoms of good running shoes. All of this made us late for our rented truck drop off time, and lower on fuel for drop off than we were supposed to be, we wouldn't have been if this hadn't all been wrong. Not only was this a drain on finite fossil fuel resources, it was a waste if our time, adding an additional hour of driving around for U-Haul's mistake. This all also made us so late that we missed a ticketed event and were unable to get a refund. Very dissatisfied with the company and the customer service as a whole for wasting at least 5 hours of our time, energy, and emotions.Heather P.

get people that can read and tell the difference between 7/8 full and 3/4. i have never had a problem at any other location or my other rentals with uhaul. i went in with my pictures of when i picked up the truck that showed the milage variance (4 miles difference) and the fuel level variance. i was promptly told they would take care of it and that i was all set. i called back as soon as my receipt was sent to me after they inspected it to be immediately put on hold for over 10 minutes. i had to call back 30min later to be able to talk to someone. they said they refunded the fuel surcharge and the milage overcharges. with my experience with this location i cant actually be sure they will do what they say, obviously. if they don't, i will have the entire second charge from uhaul removed from my card. the owner was there and helped me process the truck for pickup, she was great. not only did they lie to me, but they wasted hours of my time for their inability to read numbers and fractions. i hope this issue is resolved.Anthony S.

This location was easy to work with to ensure we could rent a trailer. We tried to rent from the Davenport, Iowa location on Kimberly Road (this location was more convenient for us) even though they had available 5x9 trailers they said they could only rent them â€œone-wayâ€. The gentlemen then told us the trailer wouldn't fit our 30â€ mower. (yeah do you believe it) He actually argued with me. We then called the Moline,IL location & they rented us the same â€œone-wayâ€ trailer. In the last 18 months we have rented multiple times from u-haul and this young gentleman at the Davenport location has given us a problem before when we have called to rent equipment.ROBERT C.
Kelly did not listen to what we said about our reservation. Which also leads me to believe that we never got the correct reservation to begin with. The reservation was not correct and we received a call saying the vehicle would be reported stolen if she didn't hear from me in a half hour. We tried calling but there is no direct line and you have to got through several number pushes just to be put on hold. When my husband called the cell number he got no answer and left a message. I will Not return to that site to get a truck again. My rating on location is strictly on the Location, Not Customer service.ARLEY E.

I made a reservation 3 days to pick up time for a motorcycle trailer for 6 days, with a promise there wouldn't be any problems. Upon arrival to the location for pick up I went inside and told the desk attendant I was there to pick-up the agreed upon trailer,for my vacation, he informed me that I couldn't have it for the agreed time. The most he could give me was 6 hours. I will no longer be using uhaul and will be telling my trouble with this location and uhauls incompetence of business and or employees which break agreements/verbal contracts.BRIAN O.

Dropped off the U-haul a day earlier than scheduled at this location, yet I still got charged $54 for an "extra day and truck fees", and $66 for being short 1/4th tank of gas. This caused my bank account to overdraft because of their mistake and now I'm occuring overdraft fees and it's going to take up to 7 days to get my money back ðŸ˜ never using U-Haul again!Barbara P.

All went well with delivery and pick up of my U-box in CA. In Moline my U-box was to arrive on 6/17 but it did not arrive until 6/18/21. I spent over 2 hours on the phone (mostly just waiting to speak to someone) trying to find out when it would be delivered. It was delivered on 6/19 with no U-box covering but visqueen. Please consider more telephone help as you say 5-10 min and it is more like 30-40 min to be connected.Patty H.
