Arrived to pick up my one way long haul 20 foot truck and they did not have it. Mind you I had reserved this truck 2 months prior to pick up date. It was early in the am 740. Of course not happy at all with this I was told they would give me a local truck which was old with 177000 miles on it. Not happy because I had a 5 1/2 hour drive after the truck was loaded and it would be evening. I get in it and there is no usb ports for charging with you need for traveling. If I had know I would have brought an old charger that you put in lighter socket. Only good thing was it was full of gas! Proceeded with the truck to load and it was a kluncker. . I could hardly get 55 miles per hour going up a hill. I just couldn’t wait to see what speed I’d get with it loaded! The seat was warn and low to the floor. Yes I could move it forward but not up! The suspension was terrible it shook me and was so load I could barely hear my phone. Yes it was clean, but no good to me if I broke down. Many prayers said and thanked the mighty Lord God for getting to my location and safety!
Pearl BThere are not enough people working. Had to stand around and wait for someone to help me. Then the person that set up my reservation set up the wrong piece of equipment. Had to call back and correct it so I would have the correct trailer.

William LWe had a scratch on the van. I was not sure how it got there. I did not take pictures before hand. I did not see the stretch before hand. It may have been there. It may have not. But I was not happy to be charged for it. The manager and the staff were very helpful and very kind and dealt with me wonderful they did a job they did what they were supposed to do. Excellent service. And kind.

MARK JThe plate on the trailer was expired in 2021. I was harassed and made embarrassed by having to call my sick and elderly father on speakerphone before they would allow me to rent the trailer I had reserved. Been coming here 8 years never had that happen before. I am appalled. The trailer had a light out on it and upon return they tried to penalize me for it. Not my fault your equipment is bad.

NICOLE AWhen picking up the trailer it was covered with snow and they made no effort to clean it off. I had to do it myself. And when I asked them if they would clean it off before I left the one girl told me that they didn’t have time. They knew I was coming at 12 PM to pick it up and could have put it in the garage like the other trailer was. There was plenty of room
KEVIN CThis location was not prepared for the snowstorm that hit the night before and carried into the day. They opened 20 minutes late and the rental truck was covered with snow. P.S- I had to use my own snow brush as they didn't have one!

They Double booked the truck there was a guy freaking out in the lobby when I asked for help, they told me to just hop in the truck and go that guy wanted the same truck.

RAYMOND JJust keep doing what you are doing! The general manager took her time to make sure I got the right equipment and the right type of rental agreement for my needs. The two other women who assisted me with trailer hookup and dropoff were professional and were able to answer all of my questions and made me feel confident about the process. I will certainly use this location again and recommend it to anyone I can.
CAROLYN CI can't complain about the truck rental process, but the navigating the dispatch process was a little cumbersome. Now, moving my property into the storage unit I rented was a whole other story. I checked-in to the console to "disarm" my unit. There was no button to say "arm" or "disarm", but the screen acknowledged that I was "checked-in". As soon as I went to access the building at the entrance doors, the alarm went off once I opened the door. This made the move-in process disruptive and physically painful for my wife (the alarm was physically painful to her hearing). I'm not sure if this was because I failed to follow instructions (I believe I did), or if there are bugs in the alarm system (this U-Haul storage location is newly constructed and opened, and I think I may have been the first to rent a unit). Hopefully future access to the storage facility will be "quieter".
Francis SEven though some of the staff were new employees they were very industrious and determined to provide us with quality help. It was amazing how they were able to juggle several customers at the same time; between the telephone call, customers in-line and those asking random questions in the store. I was very impressed.

JOHN ZI want to start by saying this review would of been 5 stars because picking up the equipment and dealing with Christian was fantastic. The next day when I had to return I unfortunately was stuck in stopped traffic because there were many accidents on my route home and there was no faster route home. Noticing this I called the New Windsor NY location and informed them of my issue. I got home offloaded the car transport and headed to drop off and I pulled in at 8pm. This is the closing time fot this location. There was still employees there but no one bothered to acknowledge me and now I am charged with a second day of rental for having returned this trailer at 8 instead of 630. Cambria, one of the employees I called when I was on my way to drop off the equipment, could of been more accommodating.
