Karl S.Both times I have rented from this location the staff has been unconcerned about the safety of the trucks, the maintenance of the trucks and the welfare of the customer. One bad experience can be overlooked, but a repeat negative experience means I will not return to this location.

Bernard H.The customer service agent did NOT explain how to read the re-fueling guide on the contract(explained upon return after over-fueling). This combined with the fuel gauge on the vehicle not accurately displaying while filling led to a half tank overfill (roughly $50 in fuel). It is understood that u-haul doesn't offer a refund for customer errors such as this, but they also offer absolutely no solution after the customer service agent neglected to offer a thorough explanation upon rental. We were also told that we had a 1 hour grace period if we were late. We called ahead and warned we'd be late, they said we'd be fine, and still we were charged for an entire day after we left. All told We feel we were overcharge by approximately $90. My final take on the experience is NEVER RENT FROM U-HAUL.

joseph C.Unbeknowst to me the truck had been in accident. Passenger door wouldn't lock from the outside. Steering column and dome lights were missing. Driver side visor was missing. Tires and studs were worn down. ( I got stuck several times in Fairbanks. ) Engine light came on, I was told to take it to Uhaul to charge. That process would have taken several hours??? When I returned the truck waited over 20 min no one came outside to greet me. Went inside waited an additional 15min. Told the young man my issues...he said wow. Horrible experience 😪

reginald S.If someone locks their key in the U-Haul a $210 charge to have the key brought or picked up to unlock the vehicle is outrageously absurd and ridiculous. Paying customers that not only pay for a set rate for each day but for the mileages as well should not have to pay that amount of money or any money at all to get service or help when something like this happens!
Ashley B.I have never used U-Box before. I have moved a lot in my lifetime and I have used professional companies. However, because I was moving so far away, I chose to use U-Box and U-Haul so that some of my stuff could be packed and at my destination when I arrived. No sleeping on the floor. Yay!!! This was so easy and painless. Someone took all my boxes and put them in the U-Box. Then I got them all delivered. They also put together my tables and bed. Everyone was so professional and courteous. All of my stuff arrived unbroken. I will definitely use this service again and I have already highly recommended this to others. Especially if it will take a while for your stuff to get there. Pack up that spare bedroom, extra dishes and clothes. So you won't have to spend extra to buy it when you arrive.

As I had a one way move I reserved a storage unit. During the visit to the office there were numerous computer issues and then, the day after I moved in, Uhaul tried to charge me for my first month. I'm very unhappy!

Judy R. | Overall ExperienceAbsolutely terrible customer service! I have been using this location for years but after the experience I had this time I will never be back. When I picked up the truck the windshield was cracked from the top to the bottom I notified the employee who said it was fine just let them know when I return that the damage was already there and I took a picture of the damage. When I returned the truck I arrived 10 minutes before the store closed the employees were sitting inside with the doors already locked. I called and one of the employees answered the phone and said “We're closed†I started telling him about the windshield and he hung up on me without saying anything. This all occurred during the stores posted hours. I'll never be back and will share my experience with anyone looking to rent a truck.

The people who set up the move in Milwaukee Wis. did not know what they were doing and could not give me accurate information about hiring movers to help me. They failed to mention that I needed a padlock and they thought that my pick up was a delivery. On the delivery end, there were serious problems that have since been resolved, according to a recent phone call that I received from the manager. I would have appreciated a larger U Box. 12' long would have been much better.

I had to pay hundreds of dollars to be pulled a few feet of a patch of ice. However the store manager Diane was extremely helpful the customer service was appreciated. I wish corporate would refund since I was not in a ditch or anything on a regular street I have pictures to prove it.

Paul C.I rented a uhaul and a storage unit because online uhaul stated that if you rented a uhaul moving truck or van that you would be able to get a storage unit as well with the first month free of charge. Well, I got the truck and went to rent the unit and the guy at uhaul charged me 85 dlars for the unit first month. I mentioned to him and showed him online where it stated that the first month was supposed to be free and he told me that they don't do the first month free u less your not an anchorage resident. I was extremely upset a out the situation. Because that's absolutely false advertisement and I really couldn't afford to pay that 85 dollars right then.
Ashley S. | First ImpressionsThe vehicle had all weather or all season tires which is okay, but scary on day like today. Snow tires during alaskan winters is ideal. The vehicle seemed to have another issue but did get the job done. They had it fully defrosted (it was negative 13 overnight) and were very helpful! The truck bed was in fair condition, did find a screw and bolt from another customer but removed that hazard. When I had questions about my mirrors, they let me know my mirrors couldn't adjust in too many ways, which helped me adjust to what was needed. Things were clear during booking but the automated link for pre or post conditions wasn't very clear so I took extra documentation myself just to be on the safe side. I've used this location before and even when understaffed they do a superb job with what they can control. I'll book again in the future.

Rian F.2 vans I tried to rent were on empty when marked they were different rates. It's time to hire a security guard to stop people siphoning your gas. Employees passed the buck but female employee provided credit so it was barely salvageable of an experience.
