Make sure the inside of the vehicle doesnt smell like something died in it. Person wiped it down a second time still smelled like a dirty diaper.

The roll door on the truck wouldn't stay up. I asked the girl that rented it to me about it and she said that I just needed to get in and open it all the way and it would stay. That was not the case. I was moving by myself and couldn't load furniture and hold door up. It came crashing down on my shoulders hard once. If I had been upright it would have been my head. Turns out spring is broken. No one seems overly concerned. Guess y'all have more money than concern and compassion.

It was really inconvenient that I was not alerted beforehand that to rent a cargo van you only take major credit cards as payment. So I ended up having to get a larger vehicle which also doesn't make much sense to me as a customer.

Review and correct the gas refill estimates as they are significantly off . My estimate for a return to 5/8 from 1/4 of a tank was 15 gallons and that took it to 13/16.

Not the pickup locations fault, but the pickup was over a day late.

I was told that closing time was at 20:00 hrs and as long as I had my truck back before that time I would be fine. I get to the location at 19:23 and doors are locked and the return lane is blocked. At this point I’m stressed to the max thinking I made a mistake. I look at my paperwork and it says 20:00 hrs!!!! Well turns out no one told me that would be after hours return and I had no clue how to do it. Nothing was explained to me, I later found a video in my email. This was just a huge stress added to the already stressful move I was doing. Next time explain and show people how to do an after hours return as well as where the key drop box is located. The people were nice and friendly when I picked up. I just really hated ge fact that it wasn’t clear that it was an after hours return.

The people working were very rude, blamed me for items being broken...I never had a overview of inside of the truck, they blamed me for a bag being ripped of the wall and broken wood inside. Won’t use again! Very disappointed.

This Uhaul location in anchorage gave me very disappointing service. -I was told by Rikki that my uhaul could be delivered to me in Wasilla, Rikki was a kind person, but I found out later this was false information -Dan called me on Sunday when he was supposed to confirm my trailer would ready for me the following day. He said it wasn't ready, which was super disappointing. He also told me that I could get an extra 2 days with the trailer and $200 off my payment (which eventually, traci in Anchorage would tell me wasn't actually offered to me), because of the inconvience. And that my two options were to wait for a broken trailer to be repaired (which might not be ready until 3 days after I needed it) or to drive over a mountain pass in a snowstorm, 250 miles to pick up a different trailer, on the same day as I needed it. Crazy! -The morning I was originally scheduled to pick up, Traci called me and said that they would have a trailer for me, but 6 hours later than what I requested at 10am, not until 4pm and not in wasilla, but 45 miles away in Anchorage! Traci mentioned a $50 off my total cost for the lateness, adding up to $250 off (which would later be denied), and this all was becoming a huge hassle! -So I asked my father, Jim Kreblin to make the hour drive for me, as I was in the middle of packing and now behind schedule. -Steve was at the counter with my dad and super helpful. -Steve had to transfer me to Traci to confirm the $250 off. Traci did not help me feel cared for as her customer at all. She kept saying she couldn't necessarily follow through on what Dan had told me, it was a lot of he said/ she said. She said no to the $200 because I had to make the long 250 mile drive to get the additional $200- which was not at all clearly stated by Dan. They wanted me to feel bad for them, because they were victims of what the other person had told me. I thought I probably was more the victim then them, but that wasn't what they were communicating at all. -Overall it was a super lame experience. I would not want to use uhaul again if I could use another trailer company, because I got the run around from everyone I spoke with except for Steve, and he didn't have enough power to fix the mess for me. -I was told I was getting $250 off for the delay, 2x and the change of location, but I only got $50 off. I would still like my $200 I was told I would get. -Steve was super helpful, but Dan, Traci and Rikki need to learn about clear communication (Rikki), that the customer is most important and to not play the "poor me " game when things get difficult (Traci and Dan).

Need to enforce parking law so I could have parked my trailer better

Really wanted to rent a 6x12 enclosed trailer not a 5 x 8 trailer, and it seems there aren't enough of them available in Anchorage. Suggest if these are more popular trailer, that managers would have more available to rent.

Have more employees on the weekend, there were two employees working and they were swamped. One was checking in equipment and one dealing with the counter. The wait was far to long. The Truck I rented had a check engine light on and low tire pressure light as well. I had tax and other fees added to my bill that was a suprise, please let a customer know beforehand.

They need to be more helpful in explaining instead of just brushing you off and say it’s different rate. Because we had an agreement with the other place the there were no additional charges

Need more employees working on the weekend to help customers. There were only two and they were overwhelmed with customers picking up and dropping off vehicles. There should be an extra person (or two) to escort customers to their vehicle and check it for damage, etc., before releasing it to the customer.

Vehicle dirty upon arrival, no gas whatsoever, had to go straight to the gas pump after picking up. Upon return, attendant was extremely rude and shouldn’t be working with customers. I informed him that the vehicle was picked up on empty and he proceeded to argue with me and stated that he’ll charge me for fuel when I clearly had it with nothing when I left and it was even on my paper contract. To top it off, there was literally just dust in the bottom of the uhaul and I even have pictures when I picked it up that had dirt and gravel in the back, the attendant had me hop in the back to sweep it out or I’ll be charged for that too. Overall, very poor. Will never use this location again, and will tell everyone I know not to as well.

Service was excellent from the beginning. Got the size truck I needed, was ready when I got there and was walked through procedures. Our group rents trucks regularly and this site will be a great additional choice

I was told to go across town to pick up auto transport even though one was already hooked up by the store because it was a local rent only. I got across town and picked up a in town only unit anyway. Wasted my time and mileage

Tire strap on auto transport trailer had been cut and was three inches shorter than the other side. I had to buy a replacement strap to secure the vehicle. When I asked for a partial credit Jazziman at the counter threatened to charge me with damages for the cut strap because the personnel at this location failed to preform a basic safety inspection on the equipment they rented. I tried contacting the manager Steve twice but was ignored both times.

When I first inquired about renting a Uhaul, I was told over the phone that I could drop the truck off in Wasilla. (About 40 miles away from original location) After going in and filling out paperwork, I wanted to double check that I was able to drop it there. They told me no, and that I'd have to drop it off at the same location. Okay, no big deal I suppose. (Even though I only had 70 miles available, I knew I would for sure go over the mileage limit) So I ask how much extra will it be for extra miles. The guy told me it will cost .20 cents per mile. Okay no big deal, that's only like $5. But when I came to drop off the truck, I was told it was .40 cents per mile. I am extremely disappointed that each Uhaul person told me something completely different than the other person. Will not be recommending this Uhaul to anyone.
