I feel like the rating system is potentially unfair to operators if this reflects on them to the corporation. I'd want to say average and also give it five stars because there were no issues other than apparently UHAUL did not communicate between locations that our first month was supposed to be free. Bianca (Manager) , Jacob, and Dwight do an absolutely phenomenal job with professionalism and customer care! Jacob is an incredible mechanic and does a superb job with hitch installation and wiring. The team is made up of long term employees/owners and is very helpful. They go beyond expectations to make sure your needs are met, travels good, and you are safe. Your people are fine. They do the best with the horrible technology you saddled them with, and you're breaking their backs. Get your s*** together. Won't use you again. Took 1.5 hours to rent a storage space and a truck. Online vehicle check out took 30 min and was infuriating. Vehicle drop off was with a Uhaul employee and was geat - kudos Antonio! Frustrated they would not set up return of Dollie's to out of state location. This cost me both time and money. I had already visited 3 U- Haul locations trying to fulfill my original order. Also, wasn't thrilled picking up dolly as it took an hour to add it to an existing order. Because they couldn't add to existing order, I went ahead and did separate rental. When I dropped it off, person said they didn't want me to return out of state because the dolly's are hard to come by.Oscar K.
My Only Complaint Is The Lil Ms. Hispanic Lady Taking Forever To Get My Prices & My Equipment & Had The Nerve to Tell Mr To Hurry Up When It Came To Paying. I Missed An Appointment The First Day i Came which Led Me To Make Reservations For The Next Morning & I Still Didn't Get My Trailer until 2 Â½ Hrs later Waiting On Her To Put It On My Vehicle she Ended up Leaving The Job Site On The Golf Cart we Waited For About 30 Mins one Of The Other Staff Members called Her Cell phone She Wouldn't answer so She Then Texted Her When My And My Husband Drove Back To Where Our Rented Trailer was She Finally Came Back Saying She Was" Stuck in Mud". There was an issue with the odometer and they seemed unconcerned when we brought it to their attention before leaving the lot. When we got back, they tried to over charge us for a mileage that wouldn't have even been possible with the amount time we had it. The customer service was just atrocious and overall a very negative experience. The truck also had no gas when we took it off the lot. The whole experience felt very much like a scam.Jessica M.

1. Make all receipts related to a contract available in the web portal. As it is, the original out receipt is available, but not my revised out receipt or my in receipt. 2. The online chat user experience is unpleasant. When the support staffer sends a reply, the window does not auto-scroll down to show their reply and there is no audible tone to indicate a reply has been received.David Brooks P.

Total failure of management to have trained personnel at counter. Only one person seemed to know what she was doing. It took over an hour to get a 5x8 cargo trailer and dolly. First dolly did not show up in system and guy at the register was lost. When finally went to get hooked up, she came out to do the hook up, had to walk back to get her phone to take pictures then had to walk back to get the dolly. I apologize for being rude to the lady because she was nice but it was the worst experience I've had in over 20 years renting from haul. That location needs more resources and more knowledgeable people. Local manager cannot overcome lack of corporate support.Joel H.

On the day of my move I discovered I the truck I rented was too small and had to return it to get a larger one. The original uhaul dealer didn't have another truck available. In desperation I called this dealer and they not only had a larger truck available, they got me in and checked out in minutes with a great truck and all of the accessories I needed to get the job done. I made a reservation for a box truck and a storage unit from this location a day ahead of my move. When I arrived the storage unit I reserved was already rented out, and I had to wait 1hr 30min after my reservation to get another unit. There was only one person working the front desk. Over charges and takes more than a month to fix the issues, rented from them beginning of March and beginning of April over charged both times. Arrived at 8 am for pickup, The one-way truck I had reserved was dead and would not crank. They jumped it off and were about to send me out with it. I refused b/c as soon as I turned it off, I'd be stranded. What kind of thought process is that? They had two more identical trucks available but would not rent them to me b/c they were "in town" only. I spoke with a manager and she also refused unless I pay the "in town" rate which was almost double. They said I could drive an hour to another location to get the "one way" truck. I had movers waiting on me and no way could I drive a 2 hour round trip b/c their truck was dead. I couldn't believe they would not rent me the other truck for the same rate. They absolutely refused. I couldn't believe the lack of customer service. They said it wasn't there fault the truck wouldn't start? What? Whose fault was it? What a joke. I had to pay full pop for a truck I didn't reserve. The only issue was the key card not working once I got to the storage building. The maintenance guy who worked there helped me into the building bit I still had to go back to the uhaul store to register in and I couldn't register out due to the building being closed. The only problem was that the staffing was not enough it was the manager by herself. I had to wait an hour to get checked in:for the truck, the supplies and the storage units that was while a man came in and threatened with blowing up the place with a malfunctioning propane tank. And USPS trying to drop off 10-15 trucks that weren’t supposed to be there. We needed multiple units and had a little mixup with an assigned unit having abandoned furniture already in it, but staff worked quickly to resolve the situation. Not always a safe environment. Many times we had to deal with users of either alcohol or drugs as they seem to think hanging out in the building is the latest place to hang. Very clean facility and though you constantly have to use card to get in and out of door, it is very secure and safe. The surrounding area often has loitering, but the facility itself is so easy to back or pull up to and carts are often readily available. The manager at this location should never work in customer service. She has a very nasty attitude for her to have been with this company for 5 years as she claims. She is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever dealt with in life. If I didn’t just come in from a 14 hour ride I would have never stored my items there. I definitely will be moving my things soon. Grant also is another one that needs retraining. If these two are someone you guess think should work for your company your wrong cause they give u haul very bad look.
