Clean the windows before renting. They were really dirty on the truck but the manager came out and cleaned them for us. He was very friendly and helpful with questions, etc. The only issue was that we had requested a pickup site closer to the apartment and were sent to this facility instead which was quite a ways away to drive.Robert M.

Mechanically, the truck seemed to work well. Although, one of the rear car transport tires deflated during my trip, which makes me wonder if they check the tires, etc., thoroughly before and after a rental. This also goes with the interior. It was full of dog hair, some trash under the seats, and there were ketchup and coffee spills on the center console, which I ended up cleaning up myself. Aside from that, the owner of this location was incredibly accommodating and understanding of my busy schedule. He also hooked the car transport onto the truck for me after I finished loading my truck.Gabriela M.

when got there the young gentleman told me that my truck size 20' was not back from other rentals and told me i had to take a smaller size said that was my only option.... young gentleman was not happy and didn't explain anything to me about what I needed to do to return.when i walked out to get truck there was bigger size trucks available......Glen J.

Staff was not helpful when my storage items where being picked up by movers, didn't explain lay out of facility to movers and refused to allow movers vehicle into area, driver of moving van relayed to me he could of driven into the storage area easily, made process harder. I made a reservation for use of a 26' truck for 4 days online and it showed me a total of around $270 and made me put in credit card info. I got to the location and they said they showed no reservation for me. Luckily they had a truck available and got me in that truck after I paid around $270 which I figured had already been paid as I had to put in credit card info to make the reservation. I return the truck after hours and the app tries to make me pay an additional $269 (a good part about the app is the check box to say you don't agree/dispute with the charges). I'm expecting a call from them now but I checked my bank statement this morning and there's a credit for the $270 initial payment I made before taking the truck off the lot so who knows how much Ill end up paying. I would highly recommend calling to make your reservation and returning the vehicle during the hours of operation and not using the app or website to return a truck.Garret J.

The location was fine. But UHAUL company itself , moving my time from 9am to 5 pm was not. I had to get a whole new set of people to help me as well as had a different truck than I had confirmed. I definitely should get some money back.terry J.

The staff with UHaul were great and very helpful. They listened and tried to help me as much as they could. The problem with the Ubox was that the company who was to pick up the box never showed up. I had many people helping to work on this and eventually a new company was chosen to ship the box. The box shipped the day after it was to arrive in Lincoln but did make it there as fast as it could and the David at the Uhalul in Lincoln was excellent to work with and made sure I had the box ASAP after it arrived. He also help with refunding some of the days that the box was late. Thanks!! David!! I would use uhaul again but I do not believe I will use the ubox again. Mostly because the stuff is packed a couple weeks ahead of time and you are without it for such a long time and then at the mercy of a carrier to show up and move it. I would use a smaller truck the next time and definitely use moving help. Moving help has always been fantastic!tracy H.

Uhaul back was filthy not cleaned out, cabin was disgusting person prior apparently was a very very heavy smoker so that was bad enough then the mixed with the air freshener that was put in to help mask the smell mixed made for a very unbearable driving to and from..Matt R.

The manager screwed up our Hitch installation with the wiring. We came to pick up our trailer and the wiring was switched from right to left and vice versa. We spent 2 hours and because we weren't given a time-frame of how long it would take to re-wire the hitch wiring, we were delayed by 5 hours total- by the time we came back, picked up the minivan and headed home, we didn't make it out of Lincoln that night. We were also not greeted by David the same manager as we came back. Upon asking for a discount for the hitch install from the previous day, the front-desk representative smiled, shrugged and said she couldn't do it but would tell David. He never followed up after that and I am still greatly disappointed. Also, he called me "babe, honey" when I initially came in for the hitch install and then used the "f" word liberally when it turned out that he did mess up the wiring, at first being defensive. Overall, I would recommend employee re-training in business communication. The receipt was also funny-looking... Not sure how he can explain the charges appropriately- I guess he just needed the amount to equal the sum that was quoted... Although David has some things to work on in the professional communication arena, he is an excellent candidate for an MBA. If I were the U-Haul branch owner, I would invest in his education and sponsor him as he has capabilities beyond a "grounds-guy" and general laborer. That being said, I did enjoy the cleanliness of the property and David's willingness to work out the problem of the wiring- although in the middle of the conversation he did say I can just go to any U-Haul and have someone else fix it. . .Maksim K.

I hired movers from website and 1 company canceled and the other did a no call no show. This is a part of the online experience and if you all can't control it than get rid of it. Made it a horrid experience.Kendra P.
My experience with the staff was great. No problems at all. However, my van was old, tired, smelly and dirty. I had to sweep out some popcorn after stopping at my home. The van had some sort of windshield problem where there was a sound like a screaming fan belt anytime I went over 55 mph.William C.
Showed up to pick up my truck on my move out day and they said they cancelled the reservation and then were going to re add my reservation on the system before I got there, the manager forgot to, so on the day that i was supposed to move in they didn't have any trucks. They told me they would get it figured out then didnt even look to find another truck since it was their fault but instead gave me a number to call, told me that i'd be on hold and possibly get ahold of some one on the phone i think travis was the name? And told me to explain their mistake to him to hopefully get a discount. I chose to take the van they had there since i had only a few hours to move and they did not give me any discount for canceling my reservation so they could give the truck to someone else before I got there. I did mobile pickup of my truck but has to ask for the furniture dolly I'd scheduled in my rental. I also scheduled a utility cart and moving blankets. The way they did it was that there are seals on the utlitly cart and blankets. I didn't end up using the blankets or the utility cart and I documented it in my return and specifically listed on my return I didn't agree with the charges...but they went ahead charged me for both and never contacted me.James E.
