Sherri provided us with excellent customer service today. She always is very professional and informative but today was extremely special as we had a death over the weekend and did not make a reservation for work this Monday. She got us in and out quickly and was very compassionate and dealing with our circumstances. I was woken up to threatening voicemails and texts saying the police were being notified of a stolen vehicle . I have rented from U-Haul multiple times and most times I'll just extend it the next day , but no Sheri wanted to threaten me and call 10 times between 7 am and 9 am , which I was asleep, I apologized For the inconvenience but in no way were threats necessary ,especially after the vehicle was only 12 hours past drop off time . 7000.00 dollars worth of furniture flooded with mice and mice poo. No concept of insurance for this type of damage was ever explained or posted. I had no idea I needed to be covered for this type of problem in a indoor facility. The manager (Sherri) was always rude. She Recommended a truck for refrigerator pick up, truck was wrong size she still charged full price and that was just the beginning of a very bad situation. Early COVID there was no mask mandate at facility one Sherri, the manager and staff quoted they didn’t need mask because “she a had Jesus on her side, Sherri says she worked every day and had no symptoms as reason for no mask. Only to end business relationship with all my furniture covered in mice poo, and dead mice. Mice still moving in my bags. After a year or so being there. The employee Sheri Robbins wasn't wearing a mask indoors while assisting me, despite the mask mandate. There are signs when you walk in that say a mask is required, but apparently not for her! When I walked into her office she was on the phone, and I heard her saying, "Well I paid for it so what are you going to do about it?". It was a very rude comment, and when she was dealing with me her rudeness was also apparent. I don't think she would like if I was short and curt to her like she is to other people. Complete BS there's an expectation I'd carry my cell phone during a move to sign it in at drop off. The $20 surcharge was an insult, the truck was back as promised at 11:30 pm. I had seen a previous comment talking about adherence to covid19 regulations - I just want to say that, when I went (12/24/2020), all the staff at the location were wearing masks (over the nose and everything!) and were super super nice. It's a great location for U-Haul, and this time and another time that I've rented from there, it was a much nicer and easier experience than I had at other locations. :)Sulaiman H.

0/5 stars. Sheri Robbins the manager will put you and your family at risk of COVID. Refused to wear a mask, said it was â€œa medical conditionâ€, allows her staff to work without masks although there are multiple signs displaying â€œThis location requires that you wear a mask at all times.â€ THESE ARE REQUIREMENTS SO FEWER PEOPLE DIE. These are regulations by the federal and state governments FOR A REASON. She is NOT a special snowflake. She works with people ALL DAY without masks and put me and mine at risk. Unacceptable. Livid. U-haul calls themselves a â€œneighborhood dealerâ€ but I would never recommend using u-haul to a friend, neighbor, or enemy at this point - not a safe or family-friendly environment, although those are supposedly the values of this company. Furthermore, Sheri provided incredibly rude service, told me when I arrived that she was about to cancel my reservation although I had booked for the whole day. That's not done. This was blatantly disrespectful and it felt discriminatory. Sheri was such a nightmare it was easily in the top 3 worst customer experiences I've ever had. As a world traveler, that's remarkable that she made the list. That should signify how internationally awful she is. No health & safety protocols. No customer focus. Not going back ever. The google reviews for this location have pages of one star reviews citing her BY NAME saying how rude, discriminatory, vindictive and difficult it was to work with her. Any reviews higher than 3 stars seem to be from White customers, as per their google photos. My experience was not an isolated incident and she is a continuous problem, not just for myself, but for others in the past, and likely in the future if she is allowed to continue to work for the company. It shouldn't matter that she's the GM, these traits that she displays are beyond problematic, and not indicative of a supposedly family friendly company. Moving is hard enough without her to put you at risk of a deadly virus, potentially arbitrarily cancel your truck reservation, and point, discriminate and be rude. Been there at times when they are swamped and she's always cool, calm, collective and professional. We have been in the service business for over 90 years and she makes coming to this location a joy. A few considerable issues. The contactless pickup didn't work properly and I needed to use the chat help to resolve it. The process didn't accept my wife's phone number As my alternate contact because her name was already in the system. Much bigger issue: the furniture dolly I ordered wasn't in the truck and I didn't realise it was missing until I arrived at the house. The pick up process should have prompted to double check it. Without that dolly, the move was nearly ruined!! Luckily I found a shopping cart at the new apartmentâ€” if I hadn't I don't know what o would have done. I needed the van for extra time, called in, no answer, waited an hour, called again, no answer, 3red call I was able to very thru yo extend my rental. Things weren't going well with my move, nobody's fault, but I ended up needing it for another day, same thing with calls left unanswered. I never did get thru but called this morning to let the location know what was going on. She said there was a problem with my card, I told her that would be taken care of and brought the van back around 3PM. Checked the van in online as I didn't want to make a masked trip inside and put in my new credit card and paid the balance. While waiting for my ride the customer service employee came out to take care of the return, on her cell phone, and I can here her saying to the person on the other end, "yeah, this bitch had my van for 3 days and then her credit card declined..." I turned around and said, "yes, but as you can see I've taken care of that. " She gave me a dirty look and closed the van door. This is our third time using this location and we hare very happy with the process except this year the new security codes were started and I did not know the code needed to be used during regular business hours. We initially entered after hours and had not problems with the code process but the next day during business hours we entered the building without entering the code and alarms went off when we opened our unit. I understand the situation (lots of college students needing last minute storage rentals) was intense, but the manager was less than enthusiastic to be there. She moved literally like a snail & while she was friendly enough, yawned several times (almost exaggerated) without covering her mouth. I found this quite inappropriate. The older woman walking around offering help was wonderful! Extremely friendly & helpful. Overall experience was very good & I would continue to rent here, due to convenience & cleanliness.
