The front-desk employee was very rude. She was yelling without any business and professional manner when I returned the key and asked to check the Truck, and prepared a receipt. She did not want to check the truck while I was there, and she told me just to leave the truck there and she would ask someone to check the truck later. She told me she would email me the receipt. From the receipt she emailed me, I found she charged extra fuel fee $5.62 although I filled gas before I returned the truck.

Sheri at the 3700 Bigelow Blvd was SO HELPFUL AND WONDERFUL!!! I had been told to use this location due to the friendly staff and am so glad I did. I had issues with the U-Haul app for pick up and even though she was very busy, she took care of my rental along with a lady buying a lock and she directed her to the best one for her needs and also helped make sure that another group that was renting a trailer was taken care of and there needs were met. They self hooked up instead of waiting 3-5 mins for her to hook them up like she instructed them, Sheri had to un-hook and re-hooked them... all with a smile and compassion.She is a HUGE asset I was so blessed she was working on Sunday and so helpful Brian

I sent this feedback to the email address listed in “Contact Us”; I have not received any kind of response. I rented a U Haul van this morning (location - 3700 Bigelow Blvd in Pittsburgh) to move my son into an apartment. We had some confusion with pickup but were able to get it settled (however, the dash read that the vehicle needed an oil change). But, as we finished unloading and got ready to return the van, I couldn't get the emergency brake to release. I contacted roadside assistance and received a text saying Roadside Assistance received my file and that was the last of that communication. I tried to start an online chat only to get a message 15 minutes later that I'd gone offline (I hadn't) and the chat ended. My son was calling the U Haul number and I dialed the roadside assistance number. We were on hold for 50 minutes before a live person answered our call. Meanwhile, the message that was announced more than several times was to contact roadside assistance through my reservation and help would arrive promptly (as I mentioned before, I did reach out through my reservation and got nothing but a text saying my request was received). As you know, today was move-in day for quite a lot of students; there were many moving vans/trucks and parking was at a premium. There were also a large number of people in close proximities so, because of the current situation with Covid, we wanted to be as efficient as possible and limit the time spent with everyone else that was moving. We unloaded very quickly but due to lack of response from U Haul, we blocked traffic for over an hour waiting for a resolution. It was an extremely frustrating experience and I'd like to be compensated via reimbursement for the inconvenience.

The online check in process was completely ridiculous. I do not understand the need for alternate contacts, and at the very least, this should be part of the online registration process. Otherwise, what is the point of doing something ahead of time just to have delays the day of. This was poorly communicated, and just a ridiculous requirement.

The location is very difficult to navigate. I reserved the trailer at a Uhaul closer to my home, it was changed at the last minute. Trailer was in great condition and worked great. No complaints about the equipment. Also - the manager wasn't wearing a mask. Not a big deal to me but I thought it was a bad image, given that her employee was wearing a mask but she wasn't. Overall very average experience.

Make sure that the general manager is experienced in customer service. During my time spent at this location the general manager was unkind and did not interact in a professional manner. This general manager Sherri was on her phone the entire time while she was helping us even though she saw that there were a few people waiting behind us. In my experience (having worked in customer service for many years) this is not a way an interaction between a customer and employee let alone general manager should happen. Sherri was also no leading her team by good example. She was not wearing a mask which in light of the current pandemic is something that employees are to do. Needless to say I probably will not be returning to this site due to the fact I felt that I was being ignored and brushed off by this employee.

The manager at the location was very rude and not helpful. It took me almost 40 minutes to get my truck keys. The vehicle return went smoothly. I would request U-haul to make the self checkin process easier to complete.

I reserved for 6 hours until 2pm on 7/26. When I was picking up the truck I was told it was only available until 12:30pm because there was another reservation. To get the truck I had to promise that I will return it by 12:30, which caused me a great deal of trouble since I could no longer stick to my moving plan.

online license check in has to be jpeg not pdf . bc i had trouble with it.. address is on a corner not exactly bigelow but bassett?? side street even though mail box might be bigelow.

There was only representative. Her attitude was beyond explanation. She seemed like she hated her Job and do not want to help any customer. She talked to me and other costumer as we were bugging her with stupid questions. I swear, I never had this bad of an experience in my life. I have been charged double the amount of original because i was 5 mins late (even though I got my truck and equipment 1 hour late due to online delay and the representative doesn't want to help). This need to be addressed. We all have jobs, nothing is personal.
