Giving the truck to the customer with the gas tank less than 10 miles to Empty un acceptable. That is something that should be communicated to the customer before arriving to pick up the vehicle so they can plan for this also. Also the truck was putting out exhaust smoke the entire time we had it.Eric L.

I had a reservation guarantee on my trailer rental !! When I arrived I was told that the unit I would be renting was AO1701J As a Safety Trainer for a Major Trucking Co for 14 years I think I know if a unit is in rentable condition !! This one is not !!! I have pictures to back this up !! Able the manager at this location told me he rents this unit out all the time in this condition !! NOT SAFE !!! He said it was my responsibility to secure the load in this unit !!!! My other option was to rent RT6460C at a higher rate I asked him to match the rate I was quoted for the other unit but he said he had to charge me the higher price, and he had the last word in this matter !! It's nothing for him to pull this unit off line and get it fixed, not like U-HAUL does not have a great maintenance facility in San BernardinoRobert C.

Nehemiah was very rude and unprofessional when I first walk in he was on a personal cell phone call and he was like hold on I'm on the phone. I requested a appliance dolly rental and he forgot to add it to the rental and wasted my time by having to reissue a new rental to get it rented. I wasted an hour at the location trying to get a trailer and dolly. Very unprofessional seems like they have high school kids running this location. I'm beyond disappointed at the poor quality staff you have at this location. I ended receiving my receipt now with an extra safe tow charge I never signed up for.WEIZRUNG L.

You guys are behind the times it is always frustrating waiting long lines to register you should start a new computer system where you start online and pay for the services and get a access code to give to the person at the register besides that the service outside was great hooking up and unhooking my trailerRobert E.
Truck was not ready for 0630 pickup as promised. Had to wait until office opened at 7. Got attitude from owner who never would have spoken to me like that if he saw me in the street. When I got the keys keys the truck it had a truck 1 inch from both bumpers. Unable ti get truck out. Told me to wait until the lady in line was finished because that was going going be her truck. The only reason I would recommend this location to a friend or use it again, is all due to Nehemiah. He was working the counter alone and was patient and very professional handling 3 customers at a time and keeping his cool when customer where impatient and the line was long. Very strong employee. I would never ever recommend U-Haul to a friend. You had one guy working the counter at about six or seven people in line waiting patiently that is not acceptable. Your employee working outside would not even walk me out to the truck to help me inspect it. This Ontario facility is extremely disorganized. The gentleman that checked me in was on top of his game and was able to check the truck back in without any issues he was about the only one there that showed any interest in helping a customer.Roger P.

They were rude and disrespectful. When u did my pickup no one spoke to me they just handed me the keys and said nothing. I called twice. Once to extend the time back and the GM got really nasty with me. I called back again to get an email of my receipt and it was never sent so I had to call customer service for it. The guy in the back made a racist comment and the girl on the phone laughed it off so I hung up before I said something rude. I will never give this company my patronage again!Zaleka T.

U-Haul, an American Institution of longevity: and for good reason. It seems that every possible snafu, either in breakage, safety, customer comfort, or theft/deception by unruly customers; has been considered on the equipment that U-Haul spec-builds. It's beautiful to see such refinement over their decades of business. The cargo boxes are built to a "plumb", the considerations incorporated into the Ford 350/(450?) passenger cabs, GMC Savanna, even the Top Kick(26 foot): are SUPERIOR. Thank you U-Haul! The logistics with the current technology however, I struggle with. As example, I called the dealer I rented directly(not via the switch board number), yet was routed to that system; several times. I had hope that calling the local number would at least put me with that facilities answering machine if too busy at that moment. The reason was I had left a personal item in the showroom. Yet upon my returning the DC unit, I asked the manager, and he produced it from under the front desk. He protected it; waiting for true owner to claim. I was impressed with the natural honestly in such a busy environment. Keep up the XLNT work, and myself and thousands of other Americans will always rent from U-Haul.Gregory W.

Gas tank on truck wasn't what was stated. Had to correct it. Trailer had broken left signal. Customer service rep didn't even bother checking lights and started walking away. I noticed it. Then when I brought it to his attention he treated me like I was a bother. Then completely disrespected the inside rep when contacting him about options. Said I could still take it if I want. Wow, that was amazing that he cares so little that he would let me leave with a broken light. He is a bad representative for the company.LARRY G.

The only thing I didn't like is that I dropped the truck off at 7AM and then came back to turn in the dolly and let them know where the truck was parked at 9AM and I received a call at 3:39PM asking if I was bring the truck back. 1) there is no communication within the employees 2) i received a receipt at 10 something confirming drop off so no need to have called meAriadna C.

I ran out of fuel after I was told that the truck had above 1/4 of a tank. When I informed Abel the general manager about this he responded telling me that I should have went straight to the gas station after I rented the truck. This was so unprofessional! Thanks for the concern you did not expressed after the inconvenience I experienced. I didn't even receive an apology or at least some what of an explanation of why I was informed it had fuel but it didn'tJesse G.

My reservation was transferred to this location. My reservation included furniture dollies and moving blankets which neither were available when I arrived to pick up trailer. The equipment was clean mostly. I was given two trucks. The 1st had no air & a check engine light on. The second 1s door got stuck due to it being off track. I had to take an hour or so to fix that, becauseI didn't discover this to I got home. Could not but it completely back on track, so it made the door much more harder to open & close. Taking away from the time I had to move. The end result was me keeping the truck an extra day do to lack of time.Dolores D.

This was my 2nd time renting a storage unit from U-Haul. I have experience nothing but positive. The staff is friendly, the location is always clean, and most importantly my belongings were safe. My only complaint is that there is no elevator, and I had to load, unload, carry my things up the stairs, load and unload again. I knew what I was getting my self in to when I rented the unit.
