It started out really great but the last couple times I was there the overhead doors wouldn't open. There was trash and a lot of things in the hallways people had left it must have been a really busy weekend. Overall it was good I had no problems. Was handed the wrong key for my truck. Upon trying to return the truck, I waited awhile for the one person working the counter to ask what I needed and they basically just took the key and said I could go. I would advise against doing the 24/7 online option as it took about 25 min to complete it and you still need to see a person to get your key anyway. The only good thing was I needed to extend the amount of time I had the vehicle and that was an easy experience.Christopher L.

Marcus and Chrissy were Rock Stars at their job!! They were Very Efficient, friendly, new their job and the set up of their lot & inventory. they went above and beyond when I could not locate the truck I had rented, they came out into the lot and showed it to me and made sure I could access it. They made check in and out FAST and correct. They were professional with each of the customers they cam in contact with. Unfortunately, your U-Haul National Phone Bank was HORRIBLE!! Each time I called, the recording said that there would be a 30-40 minute wait!! That is Ridiculous!! One time when I was on the wait time began at 30-40 minutes. Then it went down to 20-30 and then it actually went back UP to 30-40!! HOW DOES THAT EVEN HAPPEN!?!? I was w/o a computer at the time I needed to use the call in method. I believe it is a terrible disservice to your staff to have to work under these conditions! Hire more people like Chrissy and Marcus to work your call in center!!CATHY S.

This location is too big to leave it in the hands of a single employee...I was there twice in one day and both times I was waiting for 30 minutes or more because there was only one employee. Both times it was explained that the " manager " was not there . Good management would recognize the need to serve customers . Bank runs and misc. trips can wait , 3 deep at the counter both times I was in and the single employee did the best he could but everyone waiting was clearly displeased at the way this employee was left to fend for himself. I understand it's difficult to find help these days but when help IS hired , they need to make themselves available during business hours.ROBERT L.

My credit card was charged four times with different amounts so know I have to call and figure out if this was a scam. Plus the truck was way over priced!!! Almost 300 dollars plus refill of gas just to move a person from Oshkosh to MilwaukeeDAVID P.
The store was severely understaffed, one person handling equipment checkouts and checkins and also storage unit rent payments. The equipment that I rented was not well maintained with frayed straps, not fully functional ratchets, and some inoperable lights on the trailer. They had the wrong key for my drive in pick up and when I went in to have the problem fixed they had no idea where the key was the guy that was working there also could see and hear my frustration and in front of other customers he said if you have an issue with us file a complaint I'm not the issue in this problem ! I'm just a part of a wheel that makes this work well it wasn't working 20 min after I was suppose to get my contact free truck ( which was far from contactless ) I was leaving the parking lot and now 30 min behind this is the 2nd time at this store which things were messed up and they same gentlemen was just plain rude I am in customer service also and I find this very unacceptableChristine S.

Maybe not applicable to this location but just the U-Haul reservation system as a whole. We reserved a 20ft truck on Wednesday to be picked up IN OSHKOSH, WI Friday afternoon. When we got to the location we were told that our pickup location had changed to SEYMOUR, WI which is more than an hour drive away. We were lucky that there was another 20ft truck available in Oshkosh that we could get, but what's the point of making a reservation if what we reserved isn't even available. Why bother reserving ahead of time if it's just a gamble if what you requested is even available. We would have been screwed had that extra truck not been there. I would think when I got confirmation that I was reserving a 20ft truck in Oshkosh that there was a 20ft truck available Friday afternoon in Oshkosh. I'm glad I don't need to reserve a moving truck very often because this was insanely stressful!Terry S.

I rented a 15' truck. It should be advertised better that the flat floorspace is only 11 feet 10 inches, not 15 feet. If i had rented this truck to put 30 fourteen foot pieces of lumber from Menards, it wouldn't have worked. Luckily i just had 2 fourteen foot boards, so i could prop them up and was able to move them to my house. The fact that the little cubby space above by the roof is 15 feet is useless for people that need a 15 foot rental to move things that are longer than 11 feet 10 inches...MICHAEL S.
The clerk was so drunk yet he couldn't operate the computer. It was a circus trying to get the truck rented. I didn't appreciate my wife having to listen to your drunk clerk telling us that he was still drunk - he had a date and took er to the hotel room ya know - barely woke up I. Time to race to work. The lady that was working was rude. I feel like she over charged me when I brought the truck back. I got charged in Janesville for the truck and when I asked her she was vey snappy and said Janesville charges didn't come out of my bank account and that was to hold the truck. I also told her I had supplies I didn't use and was told I could return them and she said I don't think we can do that but than she did do it when I told her if she had any problems to call Raven at the Janesville location. I personally wouldn't have the Oshkosh lady working for me and I'm a manager for a big company up north. Next time I'll drive out of way to avoid the Oshkosh location or find some other company to rent for before I ever do the Oshkosh location again. She was very rude and not pleasant to deal with. This is the first time I was treated like I mattered to the person helping me. Jake was very helpful in explaining everything I needed to know. He answered all me questions and was understanding to my many disabilities. To include poor hearing, bad eye site , arthritis and not being able to life the 20 & 10 pack of boxes Jake helped me to purchase for my move. Witch I would have had to come back for if he hadn’t gone through the hole package I needed to move. Another employee offered and took the boxes to my can without even asking for help. Now that is serve with a smile . You can tell that the other employees have picked up on Jake’s leadership stile . That young man deserves credit for jumping in when an old man needed it. I am sorry I didn’t get his name. I could go on about the other things they filled me in in that I didn’t know , but you get the idea .
