Had an appointment for 10 to pick up truck. Waited in line for 40 mins. Never was asked for a return date. Charged for four days because I was renting one way. However, I called this location AND asked at the counter prior to signing rental paperwork; if unused days would be refunded, was given WRONG information. Told yes but truth is it's not. When I closed out my storage unit, I asked how long before unused time was refunded, learned the truth. And when I pointed out the fact I was provided wrong info twice, response was â€œHe's new and probably didn't know.â€ Very disappointed.LaDonna S.

I waited in line for over almost 2 hours waiting to just get the truck. When I got it apparently it wasn't done right since when I arrived in my new state I was told the equipment was supposed to be round trip and that the car carrier was never added right so it was in the process of being reported stolen. I was hung up on 4 times by customer service. I will NOT EVER RECOMMEND UHAUL. I paid WELL over any other truck company and regret every single mile we were in the truckAutomne D.

The wait time was ridiculous! The phone technology used didn't work properly, the employees were clearly frustrated with it both when I picked up and returned the truck. The mileage was incorrect when I returned the truck. Thank goodness I took photos of mileage and gas before I moved the truck. I was initially told that I had gone 147 miles, when in fact, I had only gone 9 miles... HUGE difference. I was also told that my truck had a full tank of gas, it had only a half a tank. When I attempted to go back in to speak with someone the line was all the way to the middle of the store of people waiting. It was pouring rain (not their fault, obviously). I got there and the unit (2036) was blocked by a giant truck. When I asked them to move it they said "we have nowhere else to put it". When I insisted they agreed to move it but couldn't find the keys. I had to pay an hourly rate to movers to sit in the parking lot, in the rain while they looked for the keys for 1/2 hour. Early, when they first open in the morning, might be better, if they were to have a couple of associates taking care of the customers, sometimes folks come in needing to be elsewhere in hurry. Folks can't pickup equipment the night before without being charged extra, so they have to wait to get the equipment early next morning. Other than that, service, professionalism is Excellent. Understaffed location having a large selection of trucks and trailers available for rental. I suggest you fire employees that don't show up for work and increase wages for those that do. Saturday morning (prime time for this sort of thing) I waited 45 minutes for the processing of 12 customers ahead of me and there were 16 customers waiting by the time I departed. There appeared to be only one technician handling equipment so to was a good thing only one person was issuing contracts in order to throttle his work flow.james R.

Only 2 people working at such a large facility. One person inside and one poor guy outside running his tail off for drop offs and new rentals. I saw a manager briefly in the office while waiting in line with eight other people. He disappeared quickly and never returned to help with the customers. I have used this facility before and it always ran very smoothly and with proper amount of employees. If anything it is a safety issue for the personnel working on the trailers and equipment. I helped the guy trying to pull the enclosed trailer to my vehicle because he was struggling to push it in place. The employee outside was very helpful and personable considering his dilemma. The one inside was confused and frustrated and left the desk four times while working on my contract paperwork without reason as to why.arthur R.
Hire people that know what they're doing, instead of just being there to collect a paycheck. Second time I've used this location, and waited for ridiculously long times to be helped, at the counter, as well as in the pick up area. Majority of employees are young and don't seem to have any sense of urgency in dealing with number of customers that are waiting to be helped. I will not return to rent anything from here, even with a online reservation and quick check in, it didn't matter. Still waited 30 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. Previous time, I rented a truck, got to moving location and realized door was pad locked with no key attached. Had to use bolt cutters to open it, while paying a moving company to sit and wait for the rear of the truck to be unlocked so they could load it. This location is the poorest I have ever encountered., Turned trailer in on May 12 and was billed for four extra days. Then I was billed for citation after the date I turned the trailer in. Finally got this cleared and then I was billed $1.00 for reason unknown. I believe there is fraud being completed at this location. UHaul need to investigate this location. I would never rent a UHaul again after this experience. If I receive another charge on my card, I will contact my attorney to look into this matter. Worst or the worst.Gary G.

Plus dropped off first truck in the ghetto with a drop box and tried calling uhaul to let them know I dropped it off and was hung up on. The employee working inside was helpful as much as he could. He couldn't leave the inside as he was the only employee inside. The other employee who was supposed to do the equipment returns was apparently in the bathroom for over thirty minutes. There were about five customers waiting for him and then he had an attitude when he finally came out. First, the reason that I called the original location was that they said that they had a 15 ft truck available that day and they opened at 7am. After setting up, I got a text that the location had changed to a store that didn't open until 9am. Gentlemen at the location said that we were good to go and only needed to do the online pick up in order to get the lockbox code and it was EASY to do, though he did not finalize the reservation. Even though we filled out the online check in days before pickup, the system gave us an error message on moving day when trying to get the lockbox code. Then we spent 45 minutes on the phone with u haul, on moving day, sitting at the location and was told that the gentleman did not finalize the reservation and there was nothing that they could do. EVERY time that I rent a u haul, it is a nightmare and the customer service number hold times are outrageous. I'm not the type of person to complain, but this experience was just awful.RYAN H.

Pick up experience was incredible compared to many recent rentals. In and out within 5 minutes, compared to the usual 35-45 minutes. Return was no so pleasant. We were instructed that the guy handing returns was on break. Upon finally returning the employee was very apologetic and professional. I waited in line 30 to 40 minutes before getting to speak with someone then the First trailer I rented was not on lot , which they looked for , for 20 minutes , so I had to go back inside and wait in line for another 20 minutes to tell the guy it was not on lot... they upgraded me to the next size , which I appreciated . I got it home and realized there were no lights working on the trailer. So I hurried back to the store and they did give me another trailer because the one I had the wires had been cut and the ground wire was not attached. The destination location was a total joke. It took over 45 minutes to check the truck in. I was supposed to return the truck with 3/4 tank of fuel it was full. I supposedly went over my mileage by 5 miles and cost me an additional $2.00. Really? The girl who checked me in just had to have a puff on her Juual cigarette in the middle of checking me in. U-haul screwed me up and down all day. (Location 1): My original reservation to store my goods was for an 8x16 at a facility in the Eau Gallie area. That original facility did not even have that size unit on site and all of their largest units were full. They sent me 20 minutes south to Palm Bay (Location 2) where I received a 10x10 unit - a smaller unit than I originally reserved. After packing it as tight as possible and not being able to fit everything, I drove back up north to a family member's home to store the rest of my items. As originally planned, I then went to the conveniently located U-Haul facility around the corner (Location 3) where the drop off my 26' truck was originally scheduled only to learn that the Palm Bay facility (now 25 min back in the other direction) had changed my truck's drop off location without telling. They claimed the truck for their location. (Location 3) Service tech told me they couldn't fit my truck to begin with in their parking lot and to go to the Sarno/Apollo drop off location. (Location 4) I then spent 25 minutes on the phone with customer service to have my drop off location changed without incurring a hefty penalty for "Wrong Drop-Off Location". They were helpful and changed my drop off to Location 4. Upon return of my truck I was chagred $40 for gas because i was a fraction of a needle's width lower than my required fill up level BECAUSE UHAUL HAD ME DRIVING ALL AROUND BREVARD COUNTY. I was just going to forget about it and move on but I've been bombarded with emails every other day asking for a review. Here it is. You burned my entire day and cost me who knows how much money. 0/10 U-Haul has not been cooperative in resolving any disputes prior to me leaving this feedback. I will be loading up another 26' truck and taking it to Jacksonville in 3 weeks. Trusting staff that they knew the amount of fuel in the truck, as the client, I forgot to check it against what was marked on the form before leaving. The unit had no lock and I was advised of wrong times to access the drive up bay, so while already having a stressful day and putting everything myself & 2 small kids own I’m storage myself, I had a tall man with a mustache rush me out. Anytime I’m there although other people’s children are being loud leaving food behind , he finds something to say to my 11 year old daughter. I only ever had one complaint the entire time I had this storage unit. Regarding this complaint, it was taken care of promptly. I emailed in, received a call first thing next morning and my issue was promptly taken care of. The GM (I don’t remember her name) was very helpful and amazing.
