First time trying the mobile pick up, the map with the van location is not accurate where they actually have park the vans(which are upfront) and not where the Google maps display uhaul app says, second the keys box are really far from the vans and you have to walk back and forth but for a 24/7 services someone walking at 2am that distance is not the best. I'm glad was in store hours(an employee helped me) because if not I would have not figured it out that fast especially if picking up at nightSantiago S.

Everything was done via online through my phone which is android and not as easy to use for these type of activities. I can't scan and had difficulty uploading photos. I didn't get an email confirmation of my truck return and spent almost an hour on hold to talk to someone to confirm the return was processed. While the staff was great and pleasant to work with, they were understaffed. Long wait times to speak with anyone. The owner Howard seemed to be the gate keeper of knowledge to help customers and was constantly interrupted to help other staff members with customers. We had a HORRIBLE experience with Movinghelp.com, which is the reason we rented a truck. We were stood up by two separate moving companies, after paying over $600 + the cost of the truck rental! Howard was nice enough to approve a refund for the truck, but we have no print out or proof of this gesture. We're only hoping that we'll receive a full refund by the end of the week.Tabitha F.

The wait time was over an hour. I dealt with a guy by the name of Jeremy. He was not very help ful with explaining, why the reservation I placed online was an $50 difference. He was very rude about my questioning the price. Told me it is what it is. Would NEVER GO BACK TO THAT LOCATION. DROP OFF location rep wasn't much help either. They gave be a truck n trailer but charged me extra 7 dollars. Not happy with that at all. Manager was friendly. 1 person working at pick up. Took over an hour. Manager told me that if the drop off area was full, to use open areas and use online drop off system. I did and no problem. And then enter the jerk telling me I have to move the trailer after I had unhitched it and gone through the online checkout. The guy cussed at me and persisted to argue. Upon arriving and having a storage unit reserved it was not available. Had to wait in line for over an hour to be told there was not a unit available. The girl at the front desk was on the phone with another co worker discussing there uber eats order. 3 windows available to help assist costumers and only one person was actually using a window to help. People were walking out before getting help. Also witnessed that a costumer was given a key to SOMEONE else's storage unit he went back to the desk and told them that it was a key to SOMEONE else's unit!!! Noone even acknowledged us while we waited in line for over an hour but young girls with u-haul outfits on were just walking in and out of the lobby while 6 people stood in line. Over all probably the worst costumer service I have EVER received. Will not ever go back to that location & would never recommend the babcock location. Upon dropping off equipment manager said to review recipet and some sort of compensation would be given. Had to go to another storage company and pay an additional 200+ for a unit. Although the location is in a great location, the service was under par !! when you have customers waiting 4 to 5 deep you get help at the counter. But the staff was on their game ! The equipment (truck I rented) was not safe for a normal driver, the vehicle wandered back and forth in the lane due to suspension issues / poor maintenance. also you advertised 19.95 rental but then you charge .79 cents a mile, most likely for maintenance repair. but the truck was not up to driving standards. and not for nothing I also have to replace the gas used now I'm up to 80 dollars. Now the gas I understand but the poor truck suspension / steering due to poor maintenance is not worth the .79 cents a mile. Look I'm no expert but 29.99 local rental with no mileage is more intensive to rent then the 19.95 plus .79 cents a mile and filling the tank is not intensive at all, after all that and end up with a old truck that has trouble holding the lane without fighting it. U-haul in its day was the leader in the business that should mean something !paul H.
I tried to do the 24/7 on my phone so I wouldn't have to go in person. An employee told me that they weren't set up for that. Why advertise it then? I had to go inside where there were 6 people in front of me and several behind me. 45 minutes later I finally got my truck. Don't know where the Manager was or why he didn't attempt to help the line going quicker. This is my second time using U-Haul this week, both experiences were very disappointing. Howard manager unfriendly unprofessional unhelpful. Untrained guy hooking up trailers first day real sweetheart but they don't train their people very well. It's like a runaway surface there. Unhook the trailer that I paid for and said I didn't have running tail lights so they couldn't rent me. Howard did not offer to install trailer lights. The app to return the vehicle did not work. I was told there was no paper and to leave my copy of the contract in the mailbox so that they could sign the trailer back into the U-Haul. They were unable to make a copy of the contract and do the same. One person was behind the counter with a line out the door. Howard walked away from the counter walked outside the school get the trailer specs but didn't State why he was leaving the counter or that he would be right back just rude. No specific instructions as to where to pick up the trailer. Total nightmare on waste of time.THERESA S.

I understand there are rules and policies to follow but jesus there are times and places where you can bend some rules or even make exceptions. The 10 ft uhaul I rented smelled horrible- as if something had rotted inside of it. When I returned the vehicle (same day) I was overcharged for a two day rental. I was told I would need to talk to someone in the store for the charge to be changed. Upon entering the store, I waited in line for an hour to be seen which made me miss an appointment. I had made a reservation 2 or 3 days prior for a cargo van for moving a small piano. I got to the Uhaul facility 30 minutes early for pickup. A line extended to the door with only one person working the counter. One hour later, it was my turn only to find out that no cargo van was available. The person working the counter got the manager to come to assist. I was told no cargo van was available and that I cold get the next size up which did not have a ramp, but I would have to pay the increased mileage rate. I was in a bind and needed the vehicle, so I had to take the next size up. Do you know how hard it is to lift a piano into the back of a truck? I then told the manager that only one person was working the counter, with the line of waiting customers was out to the door. He then spoke up and asked if he could help the next person in line. Extremely poor service and why should I have to pay extra for something that was not my fault. I am not just a very unhappy camper, but an extremely dissatisfied customer.ROBERT S.

Instead of just marking the amount of fuel (in the office) for the truck being picked up, the staff should check the actual gauge along with the client and then mark the form. Trusting staff that they knew the amount of fuel in the truck, as the client, I forgot to check it against what was marked on the form before leaving. The unit had no lock and I was advised of wrong times to access the drive up bay, so while already having a stressful day and putting everything myself & 2 small kids own I’m storage myself, I had a tall man with a mustache rush me out.
