1. Impossible parking situation for anyone that isn't a pro truck driver. I barely could park the truck upon return. 2. Truck was very beat-up (140k+ miles and it was apparent). Someone had clearly been smoking cigarettes inside the truck. Facilities were clean, but truck was bad as was available parking spots.Andrew H.

Both the video provided to assist in moving in, and the contract emailed to me specified that a lock would be provided. Video stated to break the seal, open the door and the lock would be inside the unit. There was no lock, and I was told at the store that I would have to purchase their lock. I also had a hard time locating the unit. The layout is confusing, and it is quite a way from the entrance. It is unclear how and when to enter the access codes, especially on a Sunday when it was considered after hours. I finally figured it out. Tire appeared low on pick up but almost dark and was not sure ,trusted U-Haul.The next morning I checked with the tire gauge and it was less than 10 psi and it was supposed to be 65 PSI because it was leaving before the location opened I had to put air in myself and continue. The next morning it also lost air ,was down below 20 I don't understand why this was not checked prior to picking up the trailer I was stressed about it while driving and the added stress was not needed I would like an explanation of why a trailer like this would not be expected and have proper air in the tires. There should be some records to this effect. I rented in the past with U-Haul without issue but this is unacceptableGARY C.

I reserved a 10x15 online 1 week prior to going in. Upon arrival I was told the unit I reserved was already sold and they did not have another one. I had to settle for a 10x10. After completing paper work I went to my new unit only to find it already had a lock on it and a notice saying it had been evicted due to non payment. I then went back and told the associate, who then had me walk back to the unit to confirm what I had told her. Upon arriving back at the check out area I was told they didn't have another unit and they could offer me a 10x8. I reluctantly accepted it because I needed a unit and wanted one at this location since it was convient for me. After going to the unit I realized I would not be able to fit all of my furniture in such a small unit. I notice another unit with a green tag that looked to be the size of a 10x10. So upon arriving back at the check out for a 3rd time I asked for a refund and acquired about the other unit I had seen. The women looked it up and found out that even though the last person had cleared all of thier things out uhal never actually took them off of the unit. That's why it wasn't showing as available. She called the previous customer to confirm they had closed out account and after talking to th gentleman told me they could offer me that unit. I had to settle for a smaller unit but was happy that I had one. After arriving home and a couple hours later I received a call from uhal. I was told that when they kept switching the units from a 10x10 to a 10x8 then again to a 10x10 they refunded me back to much money and needed me to return to the location to give them back the 31 dollars they had given me. I understand mistakes happen but after all I had been through to then ask me to drive back to the location was unprofessional. It was there mess up and they should have owned up to it and taken the loss. Especially after making me wait in line 4 times and having to basically tell them about a storage unit that was available. If it wasn't for the fact that the facility is well lit clean and convientet and the fact that I am also getting a truck from this location, I would have had no issue getting my money back and going to another storage company. Staff was friendly but my experience was unprofessional and disorganized. A big let down from a company I have used many times before.anthony y. | First Impressions

Because the place I got the rental from messed up the paperwork they were short to me at drop off I had the wrong info on fuel my paperwork said 1/4 tank of gas I had 5/16 they told it supposed to a half rant and charged me another $39 which I feel I shouldn't of have to seeing it was the wrong info I was givingPatrick M.
The corporate phone system for scheduling services is not at all pleasant or user friendly. It was an unpleasant surprise to learn that I would have to pay $500-1000 extra to a third party to have my box delivered to my house. Noah, our representative, was HIGHLY informative and able to answer every question I had (I ask A LOT of questions ðŸ˜‚). He made the experience feel like hanging with a friend while also being productive which basically is what any customer looks for in any business transaction. The drop off after hours option was exceptional. It made the process so much easier and more convenient to our schedule. Overall, this experience is hands down a huge part of why our moving day was so smooth and fell into place so perfectly. My complaint is less with the location and more with your system in general. What is the point of reserving a truck online if the location won't actually hold the truck? I reserved online to save time, and instead lost time going to two locations because one didn't have the truck I reserved, the other one only had one left on the lot. It's pointless to have a reservation system if you can't guarantee the reservation when/where the customer is expecting, the system is flawed and needs to be addressed.Carl P.

Good evening to whom this may concern I'm a reaching out to you in regards to my experience using your services. I've always had a wonderful experience and ease of mind using you guys. This experience I just encountered was by far the most stressful because of your staff , vehicles and process. It was not â€œMoving made easierâ€ by far made this the worst move possible. For starts upon picking up the truck it's shook like a vibrator with fully charged battery. So after I bit the bullet on that problem and continued. I get a call from my drop off location telling me that he can't accept my delivery because they are closed on sundays. Told me to call uhaul and arrange something else. I called uhaul and set up another location after 30 mins waiting. They set me up with another location. I get to that location today at 12 and they are closed. Then I called and got to go through the whole process to find somewhere else and they send me to this sketchy discount store that told me he was going to charge me $60 to drop the truck off after 4. Then called uhaul again and asked for a different location. Mind you all call are recorded for quality assurance. If you don't believe me. It was a disaster , made me and my partner so stressed. I honestly hope you take this information and try your hardest to rectify this issue. I am truly displeased and lost a lot of faith in your services. I'm never one to waste my time reaching out to ask for some help but this was way out of my comfort zone of an experience. Wasted a long time in line, their computer system didn’t work, my card doesn’t work. No carts, awful parking for unloading. Looks like the entire roof leaks , including over my unit, fans, electric cords running everywhere trying to dry damaged items. I used Uhaul because the one in Totowa, NJ is great. For the most part the location was very clean but the first unit that I was given was not and it was full of dead roaches. Most of the staff was helpful but there was one who even though he did help us he would not put his phone down to do so. The unit had no lock and I was advised of wrong times to access the drive up bay, so while already having a stressful day and putting everything myself & 2 small kids own I’m storage myself, I had a tall man with a mustache rush me out. Anytime I’m there although other people’s children are being loud leaving food behind , he finds something to say to my 11 year old daughter.
