I dropped the truck off after hours so it was a bit frustrating for me, thankfully there was a young lady there to show me how to share my location on my cell phone, also while I kept putting in the mileage from the uhaul truck it kept telling me it was less than what I started with which I could not figure that out. I really was getting frustrated because it was late and I was very tired, but besides all of that the truck was large enough for my things.

I can’t think of a thing! I returned my truck to this location on my previous move. Everyone is very helpful, personable and all around great to work with. Thank you to Mr Dawson and your staff, y’all are the best!!

I have used this UHaul location due to convenience of where I live multiple times. This was the worst experience of all. Even though I reserved the truck several days ahead, I still had to wait in line nearly an hour before I drove off with the truck. When I went to fill up the truck with gas, the gas cap was broken and would not come off. I went back to the store. Again, I had to wait in a long line (45 minute wait) until I could be helped only to be told the store was already aware of the problem. The representative used a special device to open the gas cap. I was told - fill it up or we will charge you $30.00 for gas. If the store was aware of the problem, why did they have the truck available for rental? I had to leave and go fill it up. When I returned to check in the truck, I was then told I needed to fill the tank up to 7/8. Thankfully, I had taken a picture of the gas gauge. It was really at 5/8. The store had used the 7/8 from the previous person who had rented the truck (they gave me her rental receipt...not mine). If I had not had the picture of the gas gauge, I was going to be charged for additional gas. Then, to make matters worse, the girl who was doing the calculating was going to charge me $20.00 for 2 extra miles on my mileage. I had guessed I would drive 10 miles round trip. It came out to 12 miles round trip. I told her I was not going to pay $20.00 for 2 extra miles. The manager got involved and told the girl she was wrong. I spent 3 hours of my day trying to check out a truck, fill up the gas tank and check out. This was truly a horrible experience. I don't know what's happened to UHaul but your employees suck. Pay them better and maybe you can get some quality people working for you!!!! No one should have to spend 3 hours of their time to get a truck rented. I will not recommend this UHaul to anyone.

I called at 10:13 am this morning and spoke with a gentleman, telling him my contract period ended at 10:20 am and I was running about 45 minutes late. I asked how much that was going to cost? He said, "That's not a problem, Ms. Holden, take your time." I returned the vehicle at 11 am, with my friend there to pick me up. I waited inside to be seen and we went across to a restuarant. I noted we were leaving the restaurant at 11:50 am, because I had to pick up medicines at noon. My contract says I returned the vehicle at 11:53 am - which is not possible since I had already had lunch and was back on the road at that time. Furthermore, I see they have charged me for $16 in gas. I went to 3 different gas stations to find one with a gas tank area big enough for the size of the 26 foot truck. I put gas in, filling it to the 3/4 tank mark. (It actually took me doing it twice to get it to the correct mark.) This was the closest gas station (Creighton Rd.) to the U Haul location on Davis, at 1.3 miles away. I fail to see how 1.3 miles of driving could result in 4 gallons of gas used?? I expected the checkin to be credible, so it did not occur to me to take a picture of the gas tank level!

Had a horrible time in setting-up a trailer pickup. People at the store had conflicting information with each other and with the national hotline, which caused much more time, work, and headaches over a three day period for everyone involved. Never did get the situation fully resolved. Not sure if this is typical of Uhaul or if it was a result of poorly trained workers at this location. The workers had good attitudes, but just did not know what was going on or how to handle the situation. Will definitely look into using a competitor next time.

Our issues were not the trucks, trailer or tow Dolly, it was with the U-Haul Corporate people. They need to get their act together. Misinformation, partially informed, poor return location. No U-Haul facility would take back our empty boxes in the "U-Haul recycle program" Most were new boxes used once! Extra charges for keeping the trucks longer than anticipated due to new home closing date extension were not clear.

We went to this location for help when the door to the trailer would not open. The Pace Blvd in Pensacola location indicated they had never encountered such a dilemma ...(?)....but directed us to this Davis Hwy. location. Davis U-haul was SO very helpful...had to take a fork lift and shake our trailer to get the contents away from the door so it would open. ( Items were from our garage, remnants from a household move, so luckily nothing fragile was in the trailer.) Grateful Thankful. will be writing U-haul with commendation for two excellent employees, who used their best upbeat efforts on a hot day, when we presented ourselves with our problem unannounced. They represent the what U-haul should celebrate in their hires.

I dropped of the vehicle after hours (6p) in perfectly good condition... I was charged $161.00 without notification for a broken tail light. The paperwork stated they didn't see the damage until 3pm the next day (21 hours later).

Originally I was not sent to this location. My text confirmation was to the location at Creighton Street in Pensacola. There I was given the wrong time because they didn't open up until an hour later. The man working the front desk called me to move the truck and when I tried to explain that this was the location texted to me he hung up the phone. When I went back to the location he was extremely rude telling me it was my fault that I came to the wrong place and I had to move the truck immediately. Once I got to the Davis location the staff was great but I am disappointed that the original location given to me was incorrect which caused a huge inconvenience, not to mention the man at the Creighton location being so rude.

I had made reservations about a month in advance. I needed some of my pads a day early and they were very accommodating to do this. However, When I arrived for the truck and dolly there was quite a line and had a long wait to get waited on---I was kind of ok with that and understood ( not sure why they did not anticipate that). The truck was ok, but they could not find the dolly, after asking me to look and finding none I was told they just did not have one and my charges would be credited---I then left and have not received my credit yet!!!

Truck was dirty inside and out. Truck was supposed to have 1/4 tank of gas, but when I drove off the lot it was on empty. Had to return to the location; after checking the truck, the clerk said I'd be credited for the gas purchase, which caused me to expend extra miles and time for an extra gas stop. When my email receipt came, the credit wasn't there, so I had to call the location to get the credit. Also, truck had safety warning light on for low tire pressure; clerk claimed there was no problem but sometimes they just forget to turn off the light. I've been a regular customer of this location for 4 years; I don't plan to return.

I rented a 20 ft truck, and was told that I would get it for the price of the 17 ft. Because they no longer carry that one and the 15 ft would be to small. But I still ended up paying full price, which I don't mind but don't tell someone one thing and than charge them another. Other than that they customer service was great!

I have rented three trucks/trailers so far this year from this U-Haul store. Every time I check out it takes take thirty minutes or more, the employees are spending too much time having casual conversation with the customers while there is a line of customers out the door. It seems to me that the check out process could be shortened. I believe that you are loosing business due to your lengthy check out process.

The ONLY gripe I have is that I had to wait 30 minutes to rent my Motorcycle Trailer. Only one employee. However, Heather was VERY Professional and Polite and the actual transaction went very smoothly for a Friday morning. Many more people were standing in line behind me as well. The Manager came in just as I was being waited on. With all that business you might want to hire more people. I will be back. Return of equipment was not as time consuming. Very Professional Staff. Recommend baiting "critter" traps more than once if a unit is rented for a long period of time. Improve the security system...was not functioning at all.

The call center and store are not on the same accord. Call center gave me a storage that was too small. truck burn too much gas or the needle is broken. I spent close to a 100 to drive to Panama City

U Box arrived with lock ripped off and wet inside. Been over a month and cant even get calls returned. Have finally run out of patience. Have tried to resolve with no success.
