Service the trailer before rental. I was rented a trailer with a flat tire. The trailer had just been returned. After attaching it to my vehicle the agent ask me to drive to a service area because he needed to add air to one of the tires. So he knew the trailer had an issue with a tire. 2 hours later I had to stop to add air to the tire. I did this three times before reaching my destination.Breck E.

We arrived 15 minutes before 0900, the person there acted like we were bothering him when I asked him in the parking lot when he would open. At 0902 while we were standing in the cold, he came to the door unlocked it and walked away instead of opening it and greeting us. Then when he asked us what we needed, and we told him we were there to pick up a 26 one way, he just stated flatly, "we don't have none" like it wasn't any big deal. He said I'll try and find you one.. are kidding I have 20 people showing up at my house. Go help us, had a reservation for a week, and now I'm just being told we don't have one! I was livid. So he finally got our reservation transferred to a store across town. We were an hour late finally getting back to our house, some of my help had already left. If my scheduled pick up location did not have one. Why was I notified on Saturday of this and I could have headed to other store first thing on Sunday instead of wasting a half hour with this first store. Totally unsat.Susan W.

I googled UHaul places in Pensacola, FL. I went to 3 different locations. One was a diner, another was a salvage yard, the third was an empty lot between two buildings. I finally found one but they don't take trailers, but that staff was awesome. They were closed but unlocked the gate so I could turn around and they told us where we could drop it off. On the way, the trailer got hit by a truck that fled the scene. After calling police we took it to the lot, which was a nice lot. When I put the key in the overnight box, I left a note about the accident but haven't heard yet.C. Tom S.

Nothing was ready even though I completed EVERYTHING already online so I could save time as recommended by UHaul. I mean seriously why the circus of pretend? Reserved the truck, auto transport AND HAND-TRUCK well in advance. They made us buy a hand-truck even though I had one reserved for a month. UHaul needs to reimburse me $60.Jack N.

The young lady who checked us out was not very friendly at all but she was efficient. I reserved a 15 foot truck and ended up with a 26 foot. I was not happy about this and did not find out until 10pm on the night before. It should have said No Availability when I reserved the truck. 26 foot was too large to get in/out of the apartment complex. It made my move more difficult.Cindy B.

Had to wait for her to come back and then she takes a call from a customer and spend 15 minutes on the phone, then asks me for all the information that I had given online so I have a quick check out states "oh yes, I have to have all of this info again. And after all this taking like 45 minutes she expects me to have the truck back in three hours even though it was not my fault it took so long. And she didn't bother telling me there was a crack in the window that was all the way through to the middle of the front window not to mention rock marks and only a quarter of a tank of gas so that took even more time to have to go buy gas twice. Employee â€œJasonâ€ had a very rude and condescending attitude explaining a situation that I was not at fault for. If I make a reservation for equipment (a utility dolly to go with my truck) online and the store only has an appliance dolly, I shouldn't be responsible for the difference in cost since no where did it say it was out of stock. My experience was absolutely terrible! Large Rats urinated and droppings all over my things, they ate through my bags, mildew and water damage. Oh let's not talk about the dead large rat. There was supposed to be a lock inside the unit, but there wasn’t. The light wouldn’t turn on at the switch or by the chair. It looked like it was hanging from the wall and when I touched it it sparked. I reported it to the desk and one of them came to verify it wasn’t working.
