For the truck originally assigned to me, I noticed the check engine warning light came on immediately upon starting the engine. I was assigned a new truck. After leaving the site, the check engine indicator on this truck also came on. Also, shortly after leaving the site, I noticed that the windshield had a sizable crack that I'd not noticed on the original inspection. I completed my task and returned the truck without any problems, but these maintenance related issues were not what I've come to expect when renting from U Haul.

Brie was excellent with the delivery of the empty uboxes on August 1, and Jasmine and Sabrina were also excellent with pick up of the loaded uboxes today, August 5. All three employees were friendly, responsible, and easy to work with. I also had great movers on August 2 from Movinghelp.com. Devon and Eric were outstanding! Very professional and helpful, and very friendly. I want to compliment them on the movinghelp.com website, as well. So far, everything has been smooth.

Since I was picking up after hours, I had to use the website. For pick up, it took a few tries to work. It kept stating "your session has ended." When we went to drop off, it said the same thing, but this time no matter how many times I tried, it didn't work. I left the van and turned in the keys, but since it was after hours, the drop off technically wasn't completed until the store opened the next morning. I think this is what caused me to be charged for 2 days rather than the 24 hour quote price that I had been given. Just make sure the site is easier to use/works!

I suspect due to problems with your reservations system and your App the original employee at the counter was extremely frustrated. The other employee that assisted me had a better attitude but she seemed to be under a lot of stress as well. This location appears to have a fair amount of employee turnover what is management doing about staffing, training and retention? I've rented from this location for years and have witnessed the level of customer service getting worse over In addition please tow the silver Navigator away it's been in the same parking lot for years with flat tire that are probably melted too the road service

Returning the truck using the software was impossible. I repeated it half a dozen times. It was pouring rain. Just did not work to take pictures in the rain. I finally just gave up and dropped off the key.

There was only one person the other's relied on which was frustrating. Two people came outside to check me in and they didnt do anything. And when i asked if i was good to go they said "the other girl has been here longer ask her" like really? So why have two workers in there if they wont make an effort to help not even check my equipment in instead they pawned everything off to another worker who clearly was doing everything on her. Horrible.

This was a very negative experience. When I first got the unit, uhaul employees told me I was getting a large unit big enough to fit a whole apartment, and they gave me one of the smallest units. I had to get a second small unit because no large units were available. Getting two units made this way more expensive for me and they were so small my stuff really didn’t even fit and some of my stuff got broken. I wouldn’t have even come to uhaul if they had just been honest with me that the big units weren’t available. The alarm was broken the entire time I had units there and would ring the entire time I was in my units. Every time I went there, I asked employees in the office about the alarm on multiple occasions and I even called corporate about it and everyone kept telling me it wouldn’t ring any more and then it would ring again the next time I went to my units. It’s very painful to the ears. Even on the last day I was there, one of the uhaul employees tried telling me I must be entering my code in wrong if it is ringing and tried to act like it was something I’m doing wrong. I’ve been there other times where employees admitted to me the system is broken and said it does that all the time so he was wrong to try to blame me for that. I verified my code with him and it didn’t stop the ringing after that. I even asked him to come help me with my code or the alarm and he just told me he fixed it and it should not ring anymore and he he wouldn’t look at it with me. As soon as I went back to the unit after he told me that, it was still ringing and no employee came to look at it for me. The code box never worked the entire time I had my units, and I’ve been there a few times where uhaul employees actually tell customers to leave the door cracked open so customers can get in. When I went at night the door would be cracked open and it wasn’t safe because anyone could follow me in. Then when we got our truck on the last day it had a flat tire. They had a parking lot full of trucks and wouldn’t let us switch the truck out because they said those were reserved. We had a reservation also though so that didn’t make sense at all and the other people they were referring to weren’t there. We had to wait for roadside repair to come and we were paying movers by the hour so moving became even more expensive for us because of Uhaul’s y professionalism. The place has terrible customer service. I saw they took records of my units off my portal but I still got charged for most of the time I was there. To me I shouldn’t have been charged because this was a terrible experience. I typically don’t complain or try to get my money back but this was incredibly bad customer service.

My husband and I own a home staging business and through the years, we have rented trucks, 20' and up, for our staging projects. We load a whole house of furniture each time. We've never had a problem, and even when we thought about owning our own truck, our experiences with this location have been superb. So, why would we? We will be customers for a long time to come!

Truck received was in VERY poor condition. Was completely scrapped up on sides and was one of the roughest Uhauls I have ever rented from this location. When I picked up, I asked if returned late would there be a problem and I was told no, drop off whatever time. Then recieved a call asking where the rental was, again told the rep I asked at pick up if I returned late wouldn't there be a problem. Rep on the phone said, no that's fine, if it's after hours just do the return on my phone. Get the receipt and I was charged for TWO DAYS!! At no point was a told by either 2 reps that I would be charged extra. Then was told I would receive a call from someone about charges and still haven't heard from anyone! This was my last time renting from this location

Why did you charge me 117. And then try to charge me 238. I didn't authorize the 238.. and first of all it wasn't surpose to be put in my name it was supposed to be put in my sister name. I'm not paying 358 . Dollars I don't have that type of money. I ask her how much will it be. And she said 117 and some change. We tooke it back clean with no damage done. And we didn't have it the whole time we took it back early.

Had to wait an extended time to get assistance after pulling into the return spot. The lady that greeted me was very nice. The U-Haul app is/was terrible. Kept timing out and not processing input. I then got assistance from a young man to get checked in; he was nice. I brought the truck back with about a half tank extra than when I got it. Due to the tank size of the truck (60 gallons) I thought I'd ask about getting reimbursed since it's well over $100. The man checking me in asked another man who I assume is a manager of sorts and this guy was a d*ck. Very poor customer service. U-Haul definitely needs to figure out a different methodology for fuel. It's currently a way of squeezing money out of customers. I will find a way to return the truck with just the right amount of gas in the future, just out of principle.

The 20 foot truck I rented could use some serious mechanical attention. The steering was VERY loose (so much so that I could turn the steering wheel 1/8th of a turn before it would actually turn the wheels), and the steering wheel was pointed at the 2 o'clock position while driving straight. Overall the service at this location was excellent, and the employees were pleasant and courteous. That vehicle, however, should have been considerably more mechanically sound.

The only problem I had was within the first couple of months I received an e mail that the storage would go up if it wasn’t paid before the 1st. Unpaid before the first and my storage payment still went up. I called to discuss but the manager was on vacation. I never checked on it again.

Smell of dead animal in one unit inside no rodent food in trays. Staff very helpful and friendly. Had steps which to.much heavy stuff. Docking to unload was a joke set up higher than trick then a bar ran . So u have a dangerous gap between dock and truck plus a bar o. Dock which makes n impossible to upload with a rental of extra moneyTRIP hazardfor sure! .

I rented a storage unit at U-haul for 4 years and 8 months consecutively (the same unit) and I was treated disrespectfully, put on hold for over 20 minutes with no repeat follow up from the U-haul staff member, spoken to rudely , interrupted repeatedly when speaking with a representative, had my U-haul truck rental reservations canceled and moved to a location 30 miles out of the way and it is much more details I can add here, but this is just the overview of my experience.I will never recommend U-haul.

The staff at this location is polite and professional, and a less than excellent rating should not be reflected on them. My less than excellent rating is entirely reflected in the fact that the description of the unit on U-Haul's website could more accurately reflect the size of the unit.

Non existent customer service. Poor communication and some biased employees. An employee named Chelsea was rude and never followed through with our reservation and nothing was done about it. A 26 ft truck out of state rental and the storage unit was upstairs with no elevator and no one mentioned that. I had to rent three units to be avoid hurting my old self and the people I hired to do the job. Trash and rat traps litter the place.

The storage unit building stank like there was something dead. It was so terrible I could barely stand bing inside. The building was not secure...the door could be opened, the alarm would sound, but we were told no one would come to check on the alarm if it went off. There was also no elevator to the second floor. We decided to go elsewhere, as I did not want my items stinking like something dead.

My only concern was my payment was the 14th of the month I moved out on the 15th very next day and feel you shouldn't of kept my entire month payment. A 5 day grace period should have been granted and I had to move trash from in front of my storage that someone else left. Other wise my three years doing business with you was great.

I couldn't get a climate controlled room and so some of my stuff got a little dry mold. I don't know if that can be helped, but I would o ly reccomend you guys if you had climate controlled units available.

The office area is well stocked and the staff I dealt with was awesome Erin Carter the storage area needs to be cleaned and swept on a regular basis and it all the areas should be climate controlled with ac the check in and out process was excellent and the staff worked with me to adjust my reservation thank you

We never used U-Box before and Sabrina was very helpful explaining to us how it worked. Sabrina was also very patient and kept us informed of all the steps involved in the process. Everyone that we were in contact with at this location was very friendly and helpful, whether we were in-person or via the telephone.
