There were no problems with pickup... however during the trip, the air sensor alarm went off for the right rear tire. This created a schedule delay in arrival and huge hassle along the way requiring several stops to ensure the tire was not leaking. I've never had a U-Haul employee take a photo of my driver's license with his cell phone to "Upload it to my rental agreement", especially after I had already uploaded it into the U-Haul app for my rental. That is extremely dangerous for someone to be a massing a large amount of driver's licenses on his personal phone.Michael T.

For the truck originally assigned to me, I noticed the check engine warning light came on immediately upon starting the engine. I was assigned a new truck. After leaving the site, the check engine indicator on this truck also came on. Also, shortly after leaving the site, I noticed that the windshield had a sizable crack that I'd not noticed on the original inspection. I completed my task and returned the truck without any problems, but these maintenance related issues were not what I've come to expect when renting from U Haul.Steve E.
Brie was excellent with the delivery of the empty uboxes on August 1, and Jasmine and Sabrina were also excellent with pick up of the loaded uboxes today, August 5. Since I was picking up after hours, I had to use the website. For pick up, it took a few tries to work. It kept stating "your session has ended." When we went to drop off, it said the same thing, but this time no matter how many times I tried, it didn't work. I left the van and turned in the keys, but since it was after hours, the drop off technically wasn't completed until the store opened the next morning. I think this is what caused me to be charged for 2 days rather than the 24 hour quote price that I had been given. Just make sure the site is easier to use/works!Daniel H.

I suspect due to problems with your reservations system and your App the original employee at the counter was extremely frustrated. The other employee that assisted me had a better attitude but she seemed to be under a lot of stress as well. This was a very negative experience. When I first got the unit, uhaul employees told me I was getting a large unit big enough to fit a whole apartment, and they gave me one of the smallest units. I had to get a second small unit because no large units were available. Getting two units made this way more expensive for me and they were so small my stuff really didn’t even fit and some of my stuff got broken. I wouldn’t have even come to uhaul if they had just been honest with me that the big units weren’t available. The alarm was broken the entire time I had units there and would ring the entire time I was in my units. Every time I went there, I asked employees in the office about the alarm on multiple occasions and I even called corporate about it and everyone kept telling me it wouldn’t ring any more and then it would ring again the next time I went to my units. It’s very painful to the ears. Even on the last day I was there, one of the uhaul employees tried telling me I must be entering my code in wrong if it is ringing and tried to act like it was something I’m doing wrong. I’ve been there other times where employees admitted to me the system is broken and said it does that all the time so he was wrong to try to blame me for that. I verified my code with him and it didn’t stop the ringing after that. I even asked him to come help me with my code or the alarm and he just told me he fixed it and it should not ring anymore and he he wouldn’t look at it with me. As soon as I went back to the unit after he told me that, it was still ringing and no employee came to look at it for me. The code box never worked the entire time I had my units, and I’ve been there a few times where uhaul employees actually tell customers to leave the door cracked open so customers can get in. When I went at night the door would be cracked open and it wasn’t safe because anyone could follow me in. Then when we got our truck on the last day it had a flat tire. They had a parking lot full of trucks and wouldn’t let us switch the truck out because they said those were reserved. We had a reservation also though so that didn’t make sense at all and the other people they were referring to weren’t there. We had to wait for roadside repair to come and we were paying movers by the hour so moving became even more expensive for us because of Uhaul’s y professionalism. The place has terrible customer service. I saw they took records of my units off my portal but I still got charged for most of the time I was there. To me I shouldn’t have been charged because this was a terrible experience. I typically don’t complain or try to get my money back but this was incredibly bad customer service.Kristin B. | Overall Experience

The storage unit building stank like there was something dead. It was so terrible I could barely stand bing inside. The building was not secure...the door could be opened, the alarm would sound, but we were told no one would come to check on the alarm if it went off. There was also no elevator to the second floor.
