There were no sales people available to rent me the trailer for over 30 minutes. After I had received the trailer, the right side tail light, turn signal and brake light wold not work. When I returner to this location for service, I was told they would not service it and told me to call roadside assistance. I stopped at another location and they found a loose connection and fixed the problem for me. WORST Uhaul location I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with!!

I was upset at another location for something that turned out to be my fault! I felt like such a moron. But the staff made me feel valued and appreciated. They were absolutely wonderful!

The truck was clean but pretty beat up. Over 101,000 miles would be ok to use for around town trips, but for longer trips I would’ve preferred a newer, less worn truck. The steering seemed wonky and I would recommend someone taking a look at it. It got the job done, so I’m overall satisfied.

Ashley at the Plano Pkwy location deserves to be commended for all her efforts and for installing our hitch! I cannot express enough appreciation. I called 8 different U-haul locations in which most calls were received by people in call centers who could not help me. Ashley answered my call and agreed to meet our trailer hitch desires. This was the first time using my smart phone to check in and out after hours . . . so understandable there would be a bit of a learning curve with the process. It would be good to let customers know up front they'll need an alternate contact for verification - that was a bottleneck. If that was pointed out in the registration process, I missed it. Then, it was difficult finding my truck. The directions were a bit vague, and I received incorrect truck IDs. After a lot of wondering around, I engage chat and someone called me back and escorted me to the correct truck. Maybe a more specific designation like a parking spot number would be easier.

We rented a 5x8 trailer and after about 4 hours on the road one of the tires had a blowout. I called customer service and they were fantastic about getting us a new tire and back on the road in 45 minutes. The gentleman who came to help us said that the tire was old, the rim was rusted and what saved us was the skid plate. I would have thought that it should have been part of a safety check before it left the Uhaul dealer.

Though the van seemed fairly new there were a lot of smudges on the windshield. I though maybe they would just wash off, but they wouldn't. There was also one small chip or crack in it that was a little worrisome.

The enclosed trailer leaked from the top or side of the trailer. I realize it was a pretty heavy rain, but that is why i chose an enclosed trailer. When we arrived at our destination, the front of the trailer was standing in about a 1/2 inch of water. We had been transporting a desk and mattress. Both were very wet.

Nothing my experience today was great I had originally rented a pick up truck but come to find out I needed a ramp an hour before I was scheduled to go and pick up my rental I had to change it and the customer service representative upgraded me to a 15 foot truck with the ramp and I was able to accomplish what I needed

The truck I rented was the 15 foot which is their smallest with a wrap. Very easy to drive very easy to load. Made great use of utilize space. I have rented from U-Haul before. Last time I got a 17.5 foot truck. I figured this go around I didn’t need one that was so big because I was only going from apartment building to apartment building within the same community. Overall outstanding and excellent. Only thing I would recommend to improve service is if someone returns the truck with a completely full tank of gas but they did not get it with a full tank of gas. There should be a reimbursement program of some kind for the difference. Otherwise I will definitely be using U-Haul for all my moving and storage needs as needed.

I was very disappointed with the billing l rented a local , l requested a utility dolly. The representative forgot to provide, it happens they were swamped she was superb by the way. I did have to drive an 2 miles to pick up again . I was put in propane unit she explained that more efficient and probably minimal expense. I returned the unit back and service representative filled up the truck to my dismay l did 19 miles total and 14.53 charge for propane that is ridiculous. I have driven Uhaul for 30 years or more l have never seen that amount for gas drive for 19 miles. I suspect they never refueled before l got truck and l paid for someone 's usage. I drove an extra 2.1 Miles plus to get the dolly and that sounds extremely high charge oh well

reserved 26 ft truck was told on arrival by a condensending young man trying to force a 20 fter on me and who walked out of the storeroom and was replaced by a very helpful gentleman Paul. He informed me the vehicle was available and my reservation was good. I showed Paul the mileage on the vehicle was less than half full, He said take a picture of it and we'll fix the bill when returned. The vehicle had and oil and wrench on the warning lights and truck would not get up to 30 miles an hour. I took a picture of the gas and mileage after putting in 6 gallons of gas and driving 26 miles. and was billed $16 at less than half a tank. Returned the truck after closing . Requesting refund of $16 and extra billing $39.95 +tax.

good people - I didnt understand NO Vans to rent me but for 3 Days they had the same 3 Vans on the lot the entire time....thats was strange as a 9 Ft Van was needed as a 10" Truck was not my preference....

A bit understaffed. Wait times seemed a bit long. But everything went fine. I always used this location for three straight years. From dropping off the trailer we used to haul our daughter's stuff when she got into an unfurnished apartment her sophomore year at UTD, to renting a UBox every summer to move her out of the apartment, to renting a trailer to haul all her stuff back after graduation, we were very happy with the Plano Pkwy U-Haul location and I highly recommend them and will always use them if we're ever in the area again. Great job, guys! HOWEVER, I would only give a one star (poor) rating to the Call Center that I get transferred to when I call the Plano Parkway location on the phone. The wait time is excruciatingly long and I often have to hang up because I just don't have that much time to wait. Once someone finally answers, everything generally goes fine. JUST FIX THE LONG WAIT TIME ON THE PHONE and everything will be fine.

No one was in store. After I've been in store 5 mins by myself: Guy (I guess he works there) stumbles out of bathroom wearing Dickies shorts with compression pants underneath, Addidas track jacket, Rastafari beanie and sun glasses (indoors) and mumbles: "what's up?" He sounds like he just smoked a pound of weed. I proceed to tell him he can help the lady that just came in. As he helps her, another female employee starts smashing buttons on computer next to him. Complaining about how she "doesn't like this job". When he asks her what's wrong she says she's "having a bad day". After I get helped, I wait outside for my rental. The employee wearing shorts and Rastafari beanie brings a truck with a shattered right side mirror. When I point this out to him he offers me $10 of rental cost. I explosion I'm not comfortable doing that because this is being paid for by company and I don't want to be held responsible for any damages to rental. He pressures me to take damaged rental, tells me this is the last size he had for me to rent. I ask for a document that will provide proof damage did not come from me. He declined to provide. He offers to sign my reciept paperwork. Honestly, I didn't trust this guy the moment he stumbled out of the bathroom and now I'm supposed to takehis signature as protection from liability from damages to this rental? No way! He continues to pressure me to take damaged truck. Tells me everything is: "cameras and AI" and that he used to work for the phone company so he knows about me being responsible for damages of my company or U-Haul blames me. This guy is a mess. I ask for the manager. He tells me: " the manager is going to tell me the same thing". I ask for the manager again. He gets on a walkie or headset and proceeds in front of me to say: can you come here to this customer so you can tell him the same thing I just told him". Wow. Awesome service! His manager comes, attempts to pressure me to take the damaged vehicle also. Offers to sign my paperwork. I don't know these, I don't trust these people. After explaining again, I don't feel comfortable taking a damaged vehicle again, due to this being on my company's card and I don't want to risk being held responsible for damage he tells the Rastafari sun glasses guy to give me a bigger truck for same price. But the way the bigger truck was not a bonus for me it wad an inconvenience as I didn't need anything nearly that big. I don't knowwho rings that place but it's terrible and you can tell staff doesn't care. When I returned the truck, the employee working agreed and blamed the district manager. Good luck.

Truck and blankets were not ready when I arrived and it took almost an hour to get it ready. The driver side mirror on the truck constantly wobbled throughout the drive making it very difficult to use during the drive. Hopefully this gets addressed before too many additional user have to drive this vehicle.

When I walked in, there was no one there to greet me. I finally saw the cashier down the hall looking at his phone with earphones in and I had to speak to him to get his attention. The driver side mirror would not adjust correctly for me to be able to use it without leaning down to look behind me.

We had one incident where we had trouble with the combo lock on the outer door. Staff immediately let us in and fixed the door. Facility was always clean, well lit, and staff always very helpful.

Website completely incorrect -no 1,200 SF but 1,200 cubic feet. Staff is completely clueless as to this issue. The person with an "Owner" name tag had no idea the difference between SF or cubic feet.
