They didn't give me my first month free initially. And overcharged my credit card. When I discovered it at the point of sale they said they would refund my credit card. I haven't gotten the money yet. In the meantime they charge the $15 late fee and reinstated the original first month monthly charge. I tried to give a little bit of leeway because the guy who checked me on was being trained. But it is hard when it affects my finances and credit rating. The next thing I know they're going to repossess my furniture. I tried to call them and I had to go on hold for an hour and they said I was in the wrong department and I would have to go on hold for another hour. I don't know how U-Haul can get away with this but I do know that I will never ever use them again and I will also tell everyone I know and post everywhere that I know online about the shoddy service that I received. There was a few other details like they tried to put me into a double decker unit. The unit I actually got I didn't complain about even though the door was half size and it created more effort and moving in. Today nobody seems to care about the customer. I get the impression that their job is just a hobby and the customers just a nuisance. One more thing. The truck that I rented was under a quarter tank of fuel. I don't know why they can't fill it up so I don't have to go to a gas station out of my way rather than one on the way to my destination.

The movers recommended 3 boxes while U-Haul recommended 2 I got three just in case but had to cancel and reset up the movers because of the additional ubox. Then the movers showed up and then only needed two. So I *paid* extra money for the movers bc 3 boxes originally and so I probably got ripped off. The reason I say that is because you have to cancel the move help and readd it with every ubox reservation change. Fix the move help thing please!!!

Terry P.I called a representative, who made a reservation for me for a 26' truck for 7am. I get there on my moving day, and the facility has no 26' or 20' trucks until after 8:15. Ended up using a 26' with a broken door track that they didn't tell me about until 7:30. There were also multiple other customers who made reservations for vehicles that weren't physically at this location when they got there. Will not be renting uhaul in the future.

These did not provide a base of any length to support a refrigerator. It was a very difficult move because of that. Also, they put pressure on us to return the vehicle by 8:15 pm, when we had rented it at 4:30 PM for an entire day.

Richard N.I really do need to communicate with manager…Either text, phone,email due a huge error was made not this Plano location but at the 421 Central Expwy location…I had to make these grave adjustments: *Loaders /unloaders movers had be canceled $200 *checked out hotel had a difficult search therefore $200 *daughter is Sickle Cell and had onset of Crisis $$350 All of this and more due to me booking prior April 26th at 4 pm for a May 19th pickup… Mr Errol said he did not have the car pull & Maybe later that night he would have one coming in , he cancel my order at his w/o expressing … that cause me to have to til my bank posted this for the transaction w Mr Eric needing the funds for new order … This was GRAVELY mishandled… I received some compensation but not nearly as much it should've been… Waiting on manager at Plano to offer more of a refund … when funds were finally put back in there minus $10 & not any explanation what fee….

Keith A.Super disappointed that a standard couch did not fit properly in container. We had to put it in diagonally using a strap and wasted space to cushion it. Had a few items damaged in transit. Not sure if I will recommend again. I moved from MD to TX. MD side of things seemed to go a lot smoother with keeping me updated however the original person I talked to for setting up reservation gave incorrect information regarding when the 30 day free storage began which cost me over $350 additional storage fee.
