The associate Trinity that helped me was great! She was nice and friendly. She went above and beyond walking me around to show me different sizes of the storage I would need. Even the manager on duty was great! U-Haul was last stop with shopping around comparing prices for storage units and I’m so GLAD that it was my final stop because the team was amazing.. I left the store feeling like a valued customer. Last but not least, upon leaving I had to place my lock on my storage. It was a older Hispanic gentleman that works there he was walking around outside. When there are multiple people waiting for a CSR, at least acknowledge the people in line. It takes too long to process people standing in line. Also, when online renters are there, and simply need to pickup the key, make it available without having to wait in line behind others filling out a contract. Too slow.Michael Z.
The ubox containers worked perfectly arrived on time and were delivered on time everything was good from the usage. This was in June. What I dont like is how this store proceeded to charge me rent on the boxes due to a system error. I called repeatedly for *TWO* months and only received refunds on the charges. No one was willing to help me get this fixed. I even talked to this stores manager and he refused to help me. He stated it was "out of his hands" and stopped responding to me. It wasn't until yesterday that this two month nightmare was resolved. The issue was at the Plano store the *entire* time. The manager just didn't care to look into it and finally did after two months of craziness and fixed it. I will never use U-HAUL AGAIN because of this two month experience. No one is helpful, no one cares what's going on and no one wants to actually do their job when a problem comes up. They always just keep passing the buck and trying to avoid doing anything for their customers. I am happy this is resolved and that all my stuff arrived like it was supposed to. No issue with the service itself but the humans behind it running the show is where the problem is at.Dominique B.

The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and the transaction was quick. My truck was in great condition and worked flawlessly all afternoon long. Your website needs to be more clear on everything that is required for mobile pick up. There was a minimum of thirty minutes worth of things to do to actually pick up the vehicle that we had no idea about. You need to have it super clear if a passport or the equivalent is required. It's not like people just carry that stuff around with them. Also, where you said the vehicle was parked was not where it was actually parked. We had to ask for help.Paul K.

The reservation process was easy, the online check-in was super helpful and made the pick-up process very smooth. A little busy but expected for a Saturday morning and didn't wait long. Everyone was professional and worked efficiently with no issue. I did end up needing to keep the truck for an extra hour and just had to call, everything was updated with no issue. This was the third location I visited after my original reservation wasn't honored with the dumbest excuse I've ever heard â€œ all our pickup trucks were stolen. You could've told me days before. They didn't give me my first month free initially. And overcharged my credit card. When I discovered it at the point of sale they said they would refund my credit card. I haven't gotten the money yet. In the meantime they charge the $15 late fee and reinstated the original first month monthly charge. I tried to give a little bit of leeway because the guy who checked me on was being trained. But it is hard when it affects my finances and credit rating. The next thing I know they're going to repossess my furniture. I tried to call them and I had to go on hold for an hour and they said I was in the wrong department and I would have to go on hold for another hour. I don't know how U-Haul can get away with this but I do know that I will never ever use them again and I will also tell everyone I know and post everywhere that I know online about the shoddy service that I received. There was a few other details like they tried to put me into a double decker unit. The unit I actually got I didn't complain about even though the door was half size and it created more effort and moving in. Today nobody seems to care about the customer. I get the impression that their job is just a hobby and the customers just a nuisance. One more thing. The truck that I rented was under a quarter tank of fuel. I don't know why they can't fill it up so I don't have to go to a gas station out of my way rather than one on the way to my destination.John R. | First Impressions

It was so hard making sure everything was done correctly. The movers recommended 3 boxes while U-Haul recommended 2 I got three just in case but had to cancel and reset up the movers because of the additional ubox. Then the movers showed up and then only needed two. So I *paid* extra money for the movers bc 3 boxes originally and so I probably got ripped off. The reason I say that is because you have to cancel the move help and readd it with every ubox reservation change. Fix the move help thing please!!!Dominique B.

I had terrible experience at this location. Someone screwed up my rental from the beginning and I had to continually go back to the location monthly to have my bills adjusted.
