The truck given to me was really bad. Had seatbelt warning light on all time, was really annoying. Hard to catch speed uphill and downhill braking was bad. Truck didn’t even had 3,600lbs of weight. A unexperience driver will get hurt driving a vehicle in such poor condition.

More help to help customers get what they need. We had to wait at least 15 minutes to get our truck we reserved online. But once we were waited on the gentleman that helped us was very friendly and helpful.

The individual that set me up was not helpful and rude. There was an initial problem getting set up because a secondary driver had a balance owing on a previous rental. Once we got that settled with customer service, we told the individual that the other driver would pay his balance there. He then asked for the guy to give him his contract number or show him his contract, as if anyone carries a contract from August. I told him he could look it up and he started to argue that if it was in collections he couldn’t access it. I told him he could call customer service and he said he wasn’t going to call anyone in a very testy attitude. He said he’d look it up. It took quite a while to get that done. Then while he was finishing up on me, he allowed others to interrupt, answered others’ questions, including a customer who walked in after me. It was a very unprofessional way to handle anything! His name was Josh Pope.

Workers need customer service training! They were rude! I went there twice and the men were hateful and rude!!! The girl asked how many trips I would be making and I said two round trips to my destination and I only did one and was charged extra money when the truck was returned! She wrote the wrong mileage down and the amount of gas that was in the truck! Stupid me I trusted her! Never again!

I arrived at 7:00 am and was 2nd I line. I left at approximately 8:15. The reservation I had made the previous day, for a truck, was incorrectly entered into a poorly functioning computer system as a van. The price quoted by April in reservations was apparently for a van. I clearly told her when I made the reservation that I did not want a van. I wanted a 10 or 15 ft truck. Although there were small trucks on the lot none were available for me to rent.. I ended up with a 26 ft truck at a 26 ft truck price. Did this ever feel like bait and switch! This was the second time in less than a year I thought "bait and switch" as I left in more truck than I needed when dealing with this location My advice is "RENT PENSKE!!"

Trucks are dirty and damaged. We rented two trucks and had two different prices. Employees seem confused. Had to call several times to assure reservation. Received different confirmation codes that didn't work.

The costumer service was vary slow .had a to pick up a trailer that was on hold at 11:30 didnt get out until 12:15 didn't see anyone for 30 of those min. The store was filling up with customers no one had a since of lets help and get the people helped and on their way.

The young woman who checked-out the trailer to me was just fine...as was the young man who checked me in. The right latch on the trailer was broken, however, and in need of repair.

The trucks windshield had a film that I could not easily clean, so driving into the sun was difficult. Also under load when the vacuum was low the Air Conditioner/Vent would quit blowing. Easily the worst experience I have had over the last three rentals.

Not make them wait in the office for 20 plus minutes before an employee, "The General Manager" no less finally comes in acting like he is inconvenienced by you the customer. Lastly, I feel for what I needed it for and the time that I had the truck which was from 1pm-6:30pm same day and a small10'ft truck went exactly 30 miles and still paid $65.00. I think that is expensive for a quick trip. Could have been rented again right after.

I would if they do not have to deal employee Ron. he apparently did not listen when I told him what I was in need of. he called to say if I did not have equipment back he would charge me double. the other site where I was supposed to pick up Best Buy Tires understood my needs wish I could have dealt with them. Still need to talk to supervisor about employee Ron.!!!

Received multiple emails with different locations. It was not handled properly. Treated like I made the error when I had proof of the confirmation of the location. Called the number when I reserved it and was given the run around. I don't think I'll use uhaul again. It was a very chaotic mess.

You need more employees so you don't stand in line for 30 minutes just to have them tell you that you have to do a self check out because it will "be faster" but that itself takes you another 20+ minutes. There should be more than 2 people working on a busy Saturday morning when there were 6-7 people inside waiting on help.

It's very disappointing that if you return the vehicle with more fuel than required they don't give you a credit towards your total. I gave them a half tank more than needed because had no idea how much fuel the vehicle used and no discount. That is disappointing.

Tried to rent me a damaged trailer that I had already rented DAMAGED the previous month. Took over 40 min to get in and out with a trailer. Had many other customers waiting longer than me.

Almost got double charged for the trailer rental. Made the guy redo the entire transaction. This was after the express check in but wound up taking longer than if we hadn't used the express check in. Trailer lights were not working. They made minimal effort to get them working. They did work finally but were not secured. The yard guy did put a note on the ticket about the lights but it did cause question with the lady where we checked it in, different location. I would not rent from this location again

Change oil light came on within 5 miles of where it was picked up. Called them and they said it was ok to drive. Checked oil and was 3 quarts low. Air conditioner quit on trip to AZ. Just poorly maintained.

The equipment was clean however the truck could use some maintenance. The headlights were out of adjustment and made it hard to see at night without using the brights. When I had the brights on the driver side light shined way up high. Also when I refuled the truck the pump would stop and I'd try to penny it up and it wouldn't let me put any more in so thinking it was full I finished up. Upon starting the truck the fuel gage would show just under full. This posed an issue when I returned the truck. Uhaul needs to please better maintain their trucks. The manager, Rueben, was very helpful and made sure I knew how to use the tow dolly that I also rented.

Why doesn't U-Haul have GPS devices installed on their trucks and trailers because the first U-Haul dealer I went to had their new cargo van stolen when a customer did not return it and then I found out this U-Haul dealer has had 8 trucks stolen also? This would cut out some of the trucks being stolen from U-Haul.

DO NOT SHOW UP WITHOUT A RESERVATION! YOU WILL NOT GET SERVICE UNTIL EVERYONE ELSE HAS BEEN HELPED. NO MATTER HOW LONG HAVE TO WAIT. After waiting 30 minutes in line the General Manager informed me that we would have to wait until all the reservations where taken care of. They were very busy so we understood the original wait. There were only two people there on a Saturday morning, I did believe that i would be helped when i made it to the counter however, I didn't receive help until I made a reservation standing in the uhaul building where I was told to wait until they had all the reservations completed. I complained to the corporate number and was told that this was not the way customers should be treated and a regional manger would be in contact. John called on Monday and informed me it's like a reservation at a restaurant and I should have waited. He then asked if I would be happy if the hostess gave my table away. In this case I was not asking for them to take a trailer from a reservation. I just needed to be seated at a "table" that didn't have a reservation and not be penalized for deciding last minute to rent a trailer! I've managed hotels and restaurants for the last 20 years and I hope I've never treated a customer the way I've been treated. Not only by the General Manager but the Regional manager as well. So it must be company policy to treat customers differently. It is sad because I had two storage units with this uhaul and have had a great experience with the rest of the staff. The AGM there has been helpful and polite and working hard every time I've come in but I guess he has to have a day off and you'll get stuck with the other guy. Don't forget to make a reservation or you will have to stand in the corner until they get around to you!

Breakdown coming home from vacation. We were two hundred miles away from home. We had a nightmare dealing with car shipping companies fighting and arguing on who was going to ship it when you decided to use the U-Haul they had a trailer and truck at the location ready to go within 20 minutes we were finally on our way home after fighting for two and a half hours with shipping car company. The suggestion I would have to the company would be to provide a electric winch on the full size car trailer as a helpful tool or loading a car that does not run. Other than that everything worked out okay

customer service sucks. expected 24 hour rental. informed upon pick up 26 ftr needed to be returned in 8 hrs. for same price. no discount, rebate, appology, or acknowledgement. if i had a choice i would've not rented it. instead i busted my ass to move half my house. and get it back on time. out of respect for the next poor shmoe who expected to have a truck, when he needed it. guess i have more respect for a stranger than uhaul has for its customers

There were to many people giving directions here. I was told by two different people were to park and they conflicted with each other. Additionally, i was ask 5 times to check the lights. I understand being throrough, but it was over board and wasted my time. I was also argued with about damaged to the trailer which was clearly marked on my contract where damage already existed before I left Oklahoma City.

Make sure you charge people what you say you're going to charge. I was told it would be 79 cents per mile, and that I could drop the truck in the town I moved to. I got charged 99 cents a mile, and had to drive another 35+ miles to bring the truck back where I got it.

First my reservation was here and I always use another one. The guy Ruben was rude. We found out the brake lights didn't even work on our tow dolly till after our destination back to Pueblo. That was very dangerous for us and others on the road. U guys to to check your equipment better for the safety of others. I am going g to think twice about using this service.

I called the local number to make my reservation for 24 hour rental. Pick up on 06-22-2017 at 6:45PM. I arrived to pick up the truck, to be told that I must return in 6 hours. The man that helped me was less than friendly, but he would extend my return time to 4:00PM or I would be charged the penalties for late return. Well I rushed my move to accommodate this, returning the truck on time. I realize the reservation details were emailed to me, but I am in the middle of a move and did not have time for email. I trusted the person who made my reservation and I am disappointed in this transaction.

I was told I could pick up the truck in one location but it wasn't there. I had to go to another Uhaul store 10 miles away. I was not informed ahead of time I would not be able to pick up the truck at my preferred location. A manager did try to help by giving us some money off mileage but if I would have known ahead of time this would have been our pickup location we would have picked it up earlier. Every time we rent a Uhaul truck they are very beat and worn. Staff was friendly at all locations, but someone needs to do better at relaying information.

This is second time dealing w uhaul an i was not happy other then i actually was able to get my vehicle up to springs which was all day event an $200 + it finally happened. But had to go to another location to get car trailer which said it was availible close to me. Had to drive to pueblo West which made me have to pay more in mileage. So over all not very happy. It's my third time renting at this location, and it has been different staff and different circumstances every time. Each time the staff has been professional, courteous, and pretty much everything else you hope to find in a rental encounter. This keeps me coming back to U-Haul and this location.

I have always used UHAUL for all my moving needs and this time my experience was awful. I reserved a truck in advance for my move as always and 2 days before my move I had missed a call from representative stating unfortunately my size truck I reserved was not available. I immediately called and I have never had a Customer Service Associate treat me so rude EVER!!! She was with traffic and no care or concern for anyone. I asked to speak to her Mgr/ Supevisorr she said no , I asked for her employee ID she said no. If the calls are recorded, I call on U Haul to listen to her and see if this is Customer Service that they represent. I contacted other competitors to see about fulfilling my request because of this women and at this point I was no longer wanting to do business with U Haul. The next day amid all of this, I received a call from the location I requested original pickup stating they had a cancellation and my truck size would be available. This was because I wanted someone personally from this location and noone else to call me A.S.A.P!!! Sad to say but one bad experience can sometimes ruin it for others so always treat people the way you wish to be treated... if you don't like to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE then you probably shouldn't be working in the field..

No problem with checking my truck in and getting a receipt EXCEPT I had to walk back to my hotel (Super8) on Hiwy 50. SO instead of taking (what looked like) a direct path (next to a frontage road of I25) I took the roadway to the Uhaul which I took with the truck (wide and circuitous) via Dillon Rd. Maybe the agent who checked me in thought I was going to the shops above the 'isolated' location of this Uhaul (we talked briefly about them)? I did on go shopping. A little communication would have been helpful to get back to my hotel on FOOT!

The general manager was rude and inconsiderate. I was told on the phone when setting up the contract that I could pick up in the morning between 8-10 and I could return the car hauler at the same time 24 hrs later. But the general manager refused to let me return it at 10:00am. After I had picked up at 10:00am. So I drove to Denver and worked till 2:30am drove to Pueblo, Co and unloaded the car by 4:30am then slept 3 hrs and had to return it by 8:00. I've rented from u haul many times and never experienced this type of customer service. :(

The the equipment wasn't returned on time. The reps didn't try to call me to let me know. I found out when I showed up on time. I asked if they could call me when it arrived. They said they would, but didn't. I called in an hour and a half after my pick up was originally scheduled and the vehicle was already there. Who knows how long I would have had to wait if I didn't call? The rep I worked with from that point, Desiree, was very helpful. But the one I worked with earlier (a guy, I don't recall his name) definitely left a lot to be desired.

I went to the location and got a quote on 3/21/2017 for around $120 bucks. I made the mistake of not getting it in writing. I called on Friday the 24th to change my reservation to Saturday morning. I talked with a female this time and was quoted around $120. I went in on Saturday morning to pick up the truck and was charged $258.01. By that time it was too late to make other arrangements. Either there was a mistake in the first two quotes or in the last one. It was very disappointing. I would recommend this location but I would never do business with them again without getting it in writing.

I went online to do the streamline login to "save time" but still had to wait in line for an hour. Then the amount I paid online wasn't enough and we had to drop insurance. Then I drove home and the dolly and pads were NOT in the back like they told us they were so I had to go all the way back, while I was supposed to be loading the truck. Hours wasted. When we initially reserved the car dolly we were picking it up in Pueblo West, when the email arrived it changed to traveling into town to pick it up. Being in a time crunch with packing and moving and closing on a house this just added one unwelcome additional to-do on an already large list. When we were able to drive into Pueblo to pick it up the tire had a crack in the tread that I could fit a key into over 1/4 of an inch. We were towing the vehicle over 1k miles in winter over may passes and we were not willing to accept below standard equipment. I would highly recommend thoroughly checking each and every piece of equipment especially for long distance rentals. We ended up with a car transporter which worked out fine, but we never should have had to deal with these issues from the beginning.

Your staff were unaware that Uhaul carries the clear carpet protector film. We had to find it on your shelves and show them, no-one in the store seemed to be aware it was there. Also, your computer system kept insisting to overcharge us significantly, it took two staff members 20 minutes to get rid of the overcharges! It seems to relate to the childish marketing practice of leaving a dolly and pads secured in the van, taking up space I paid for so you can run a commercial. That is a very bad practice, especially when your corporate-supplied software won't release the charges for 20 minutes! However, the glitch was a full $45 for two days so the pads were only part of it. You need to straighten out your software or train your staff!

When me and my wife went here to pickup a motorcycle trailer it was awesome picking it up everything explained guys were so nice and helpful ....but when we dropped it off the guy there around 3:30 name started with an r... was a total asshole i was just trying to help out unload trailer i backed it in and started to unhook chains and get it unhooked from our jeep he flipped said the trailer wasnt sitting in correct spot and it was not lined up properly wen thats were it was wen i picked it up at and then he sighed real heavily just because i had unhooked the trailer lights .... really i thought but i said wats wrong sir he said...well i just check it later...... i told him whats wrong if youd like sir ill hook lights back up and hook entire trailer back to my jeep and ill let you unhook it all im just trying to help out. ...an well to my suprise no reply from the guy then he finall said ya hook lights back up and lets see the lights work i said sure no prob sir as i reached to do so ...he said nevermind ill do it just go hit the brakes n turn ur lights on ....so i did for him after he finally unhooked it from my jeep and i told him at that time ...man i like that trailer im gunna look online if i find one ill def look into buying one .... he said so sudden DONT IF YOU DO ITS STOLEN .... i said wow ok well thanks for advice ... ill pull jeep by the front door sir and ill sign the papers so i can get outa your hair he said ok and walked inside . So after signing electronicly for our trailer we used i was leaving and three including him were still in the store just talking so as i was trying to leave by the way was kinda tight since there was uhaul trucks all in the way from no one organizing i finally was able to get away from this uhaul adventure .... but all in all just sad how someone can be towards a customer for just tryin to help out in the end ... would have been different if he would have explained ya sorry thats just what we do is we unhook the trailer u dont ..... i would have been ok with tyat

The car/ truck transportation service we hired informed us it would be 3 days before they could pick up our vehicle's. We went to the U-haul on Carrurth Ct in Pueblo, Co told them about the situation. He put some notes in the computer. When we arrived in Fl. We weren't charged for the 3 extra days! Awesome!! An employee who didn't look like he was doing anything (though I could be wrong) didn't offer to help even though there were 2 people in line behind the customers being helped already. The recent change from having two locks on each unit is a mistake. Lockers are no longer nearly as secure now anyone can enter when the outside is unlocked.
