I have always used UHAUL for all my moving needs and this time my experience was awful. I reserved a truck in advance for my move as always and 2 days before my move I had missed a call from representative stating unfortunately my size truck I reserved was not available. I immediately called and I have never had a Customer Service Associate treat me so rude EVER!!! She was with traffic and no care or concern for anyone. I asked to speak to her Mgr/ Supevisorr she said no , I asked for her employee ID she said no. If the calls are recorded, I call on U Haul to listen to her and see if this is Customer Service that they represent. I contacted other competitors to see about fulfilling my request because of this women and at this point I was no longer wanting to do business with U Haul. The next day amid all of this, I received a call from the location I requested original pickup stating they had a cancellation and my truck size would be available. This was because I wanted someone personally from this location and noone else to call me A.S.A.P!!! Sad to say but one bad experience can sometimes ruin it for others so always treat people the way you wish to be treated... if you don't like to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE then you probably shouldn't be working in the field..

Not be idiots! Fully disclose that the charges will be pending for 3-5 days even when paid in cash! Also be competent with your system it took well over 15 minutes to get the truck checked out do to the cashier guy not knowing the system.....nothing nice

No problem with checking my truck in and getting a receipt EXCEPT I had to walk back to my hotel (Super8) on Hiwy 50. SO instead of taking (what looked like) a direct path (next to a frontage road of I25) I took the roadway to the Uhaul which I took with the truck (wide and circuitous) via Dillon Rd. Maybe the agent who checked me in thought I was going to the shops above the 'isolated' location of this Uhaul (we talked briefly about them)? I did on go shopping. A little communication would have been helpful to get back to my hotel on FOOT!

Look at your towing requirements.....we were told our truck could not pull vehicle due to weight and had to rent a truck, but the weight on Uhaul was less than our truck weight.....does not make sense!

Have more staff on hand. Everytime I go in they seem very understaffed only one person working the counter and phones and checking in/out equipment.



The general manager was rude and inconsiderate. I was told on the phone when setting up the contract that I could pick up in the morning between 8-10 and I could return the car hauler at the same time 24 hrs later. But the general manager refused to let me return it at 10:00am. After I had picked up at 10:00am. So I drove to Denver and worked till 2:30am drove to Pueblo, Co and unloaded the car by 4:30am then slept 3 hrs and had to return it by 8:00. I've rented from u haul many times and never experienced this type of customer service. :(

The the equipment wasn't returned on time. The reps didn't try to call me to let me know. I found out when I showed up on time. I asked if they could call me when it arrived. They said they would, but didn't. I called in an hour and a half after my pick up was originally scheduled and the vehicle was already there. Who knows how long I would have had to wait if I didn't call? The rep I worked with from that point, Desiree, was very helpful. But the one I worked with earlier (a guy, I don't recall his name) definitely left a lot to be desired.
