I called Uhaul to reserve a truck, Reservation #: 88398868. My confirmed reservation was for a 10 ft truck. When I get to the location, when it is time for me to pick up a 10 ft truck and use it, it isn't available. They bump me up to a 15 ft truck because obviously, I need a truck and they don't have the one reserved. My issue is that they charged me $29.99 for a 15 ft truck when I reserved a $19.99 10 ft truck. They also were "unable" to comp me the price difference. I didn't have a choice because I needed the truck at the time I picked it up. There are other Uhaul locations. There are other companies such as Budget as well. This feels like extortion. If the truck I wanted wasn't available at the location, then I should have been informed when I was shopping online for a truck reservation, when I was on the phone with a Uhaul agent. I would certainly not recommend this location to another person.

Make sure trailer is clean before pickup, was covered in gravel. Customer service representative did clean while we waited. Repair defects. Bent decking prevented us from moving strap into proper position. One rubber retaining strap wouldn't stay locked in for the fold down fender.

Wasn't informed what it would cost after taxes when I received the call to confirm they didn't inform me of it either. Then when I arrived it was stressful because I was picking up disabled son in a difficult time short on cash I wasn't happy with that part of it the gentleman that helped was ok the gentleman that hooked it up was kind. The only thing that was disappointing was that I booked a 6:00 AM pickup online and when I got to the location the vehicle was not ready. I had to come back an hour later when the location opened. The associate was very helpful and apologized. It would be helpful if the app would not let you choose a pickup time if it is not available.

You should let your customers know that you don't have access cards and cannot access storage . I drive 3 hrs one evening to get something out my storage. Your web page and notices outside say access cards, access storage till 10pm. I was there at 6pm. You seriously need to address that problem. Otherwise a great place.

The online preregistration was faulty which resulted in needing to process the rental person to person delaying my starting time. The bed of the pickup truck had snow and mud in it that I had to clean before moving my items. That caused another half hour delay in my moving process. Lastly I did not receive my texted receipt until the following day.

It wasn't the location. Was directed to a different store which was 10 miles further than the original store I had chosen. But this had been the third time in a year that I have had a problem with uhaul. I will not be using them any more.

Have the item that I reserved. I reserved a 5x8 trailer weeks in advance. The day I arrive I am told that it is not there because someone didn't return it. However, there is one on the lot right now. I ask about that one, and am told it is “in-town” only. Then I am told I can drive to another location 40 miles away to get the one I want. Brutal.

George was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when booking in person. I would definitely look for him next time I use Uhaul. Charity helped me change my reservation last minute by phone at midnight. It was a total surprise that Uhaul had 24 hr service. That was a great benefit!

Your online reservation system is pathetic and a pure waste of time. Nothing I entered with our reservation came to this center, and this is a recurring problem. Knowing this, we will still use this center as they provide great service and are close. We just know in advance that it won't work, nobody's doing anything to fix it and we have to send administrative staff to pick up the vehicle as they are credit card authorized.

I can't say Thank You enough. Your facility and call center staff were absolutely the best! We had to change our pick up time 4 times because our home closing was delayed over and over. Every time I called your staff I was met with understanding and a how can we help attitude. When I picked up the Uhaul truck your service people were personable and very helpful. I don't usually spend time completing these surveys, but your staff won we over. Your selection of staff and training of them speaks loudly to your company mission and values. Your staff at all locations are great. Your phone customer service system is horrible not the people but accessing help from roadside assistance is very disfunctional. I will never use your company again. Even the staff at your store had trouble getting help for me the way your phone system works or should I say doesn't work.

The main problem I had was with billing. I kept getting emails and letters claiming I was behind in my payments and owed late fees even though I was current and had receipts to prove it. I rarely got staff at the facility on the phone when I called and routinely got directed to a call center that agreed I was paid up according to their records but were never able to stop the continuing threats I received via mail and email.

Your people and your locations are fine. Your phone and customer service system is barely operable. When calling for road assistance I should not be put on hold after many attempts to connect only to get bogus information. Long story short, your poor customer service infrastructure cost me a couple of nights extra stay, because your truck broke down. Then since it went bad at your location I had to unload in your storage instead of my own 8 miles away. Now I have to figure and pay to move out of your location to my own when I could have avoided it all together. I'll be putting a hitch on my vehicle and won't use your service any more. At the very least you could lend me a trailer to move my things, but I doubt you would. I'm very unhappy with this.

I rented 2 26 foot trucks. The first truck was dirty and had 1/4 tank of gas. I retired it to the location I rented it from. I was running out of room in the truck so I rented another 26 foot truck and when my wife got there they said all they had was a 20 foot truck and it was the same price. We needed sit and were short on time and we settled. This truck was also dirty and stunk like marijuana. The smell was bad, our stuffs smelled like it after we unloaded it. They changed the drop off location to one on the other side of town, atleast 15/20 minutes from the one I rented it from. I will not rent another uhaul from this location

I reserved a 26' truck at a location 3 miles from me and they moved me to another location that was 12 miles from me which cost me an extra $20 in mileage because they didn't take a unit to the location I needed. I orders a 26' and when I got to the location they just told me there was none available so your getting a 20' unit...this unit was not big enough to move all of my furniture so I have had to move the rest of the stuff with my personal truck. When I got the truck home and opened the box it had a horrible smell of pot in the back which made me and my son sick smelling it all day and by the time we got to our destination we could smell the pot on our household items. I have rented with U-haul many times and have never had these kind of problems but this experience was absolutely horrible! I have to move my stuff from Colorado to Arizona in two months and I planned on using U-haul but this experience has me thinking about renting from another company! I believe I should be entitled to a full refund after not getting the vehicle I requested and having to deal with the horrible smell of pot the entire time I was loading and using it! If I didn't need to be out of our house on that day I would have refused the truck but I was left with little choice to get out of the house that day.

Requested and reserved pick up location in Colorado City, Co but Uhaul changed location to Trinidad at last minute. I had to call ahead to change to Pueblo. Why the hassle and not where I wanted pick up? Pueblo location was very kind, opened early and was easy to pick up at. Good customer service.

Your website failed to allow me to pick up the vehicle because it was in a crashed status. It took me almost an hour to rent a vehicle. You should make your basic infrastructure work if you want to do business with others. Overall I would rate this transaction the worst possible method of moving. You guys need to clean your act up. Every part of this experience was amateur.

Very hard to get hold of, actually impossible. Manager gives away storage you reserved. Corporate communications are also unavailable. Cancelled my reservation before I even moved in. Gave away my reservation! What! Local manager blamed it on Corporate reservation problems. Not my problem. Moving is stressful enough without a national company giving you the run around!! Horrible experience with Pueblo Co location! Josh needs to go as a manager. Also rude when I had to ask my 71 year old mother to go to check on my reservation. The one Josh gave away!!!!

I was told that I would have GROUND-FLOOR ACCESS I was told that the 1st month's rent was FREE I was told that it was an 8X10X5 I asked if the truck and the storage unit were going to hold all of my furniture and other belongings. Nothing I was told were actually TRUE! I had to scramble to get another storage unit because the Truck AND the storage unit WERE TOO SMALL! Nothing the first representative told me WAS EVEN CLOSE TO THE TRUTH! My family is their friends made trips IN THEIR OWN PRIVATE VEHICLES to help finish my move. I want a full refund for the entire "UHAUL MOVING EXPERIENCES" of one lie and additional Fee after another. I have posted the whole thing on my public media sites telling the world AVOID USING UHAUL AT ANY COST! MEANING HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE NOW KNOW HOW BADLY UHAUL HAS TREATED ME

Every time I went (including drop off of truck) to the store everything was good. The staff was always very helpful. I found a new place to buy boxes. Your boxes are excellent and very well priced. Especially because I bought them in bundles. I truely enjoyed my experience. The truck was even so much better than they used to be.
