There's was some confusion. But In the end it was made right. Great staff. And if I could remember the lady that helped me at my return. She did awesome great communication. Because of her the experience turned into an awesome one.Arlen J.
My issue was when I picked up the trailer I rented, the uhaul employee hooked up the trailer while I was on the phone. He said it was all good to go and took a picture. Problem is I got around the corner of the building and the trailer comes off my hitch. Turns out the employee never tightened down the receiver lock. This employees name was JaredTYLER P.

There's a lot of room for improvement. 1. Change your system so when you auto fill a phone number the +1 does not delete the last number of the phone number. Pretty common in the U.S.A. 2. Fire your rude assed customer service representatives. 3. Don't have customers pick up equipment one day early and drive 540 miles round trip to pick up your POS truck with no compensation for fuel or miles used. 4. Fix your jenky odometers that somehow registered 68 miles more than the vehicle that was followed on the same 750 mile trip. 5. Actually have a human to receive equipment during normal business hours. Fixing these issues would be a great start to getting off the road of crappiest company to do business with ever list.David G.

My only real complaint is the mileage price went up quite a bit . I rented a truck in May and it was .69 a mile then, and now it was1.09 that's a 40 Percent jump in price. That's A bit much have. Have a nice dayJOYCE R.

There was a huge communication gap between the reservation group and the actual store. There was no follow-up from the reservation staff on an issue they said they'd follow up on. I gave this an average review not necessarily for the UHAUL location itself, but the construction in front of the store made it very, very difficult to see how to enter the property. I know this is not the responsibility of UHAUL, but it would be helpful if there was a special notice or asterisk on your order voucher indicating temporary instructions for entry or some kind of warning about construction. I returned my truck in the dark and the street and parking lot werr not well lit, so I was afraid I'd hit a pylon or something. Just a suggestion to include temporary notices to your customers... U-Haul had a smoke smell and had ashes in the ash tray when the truck was given to me. Some air fresheners and checking the ash tray would go a long way.Jacob L.
I had difficulty with the 24/7 mobile pick up process. Took my head shot, and ID just fine but would not accept my alternate contact with the same last name. Fortunately the office was still open so they just did the pick up for me.Michael H.

It is a pain to get at, Deadwood Ave. is under construction for two years. It just started recently. Omaha Ave is an absolute mess to get on the property. If I have a truck and trailer. This is not the place I want to drop something off.ROBERT L.

The location where I had reserved the truck, and received a confirmation, had no truck when I arrived. They were incompetent. They sent me to the Deadwood avenue site and they were excellent. Very happy with our pickup truck and overall rental experience from this Uhaul location. I was not happy about the after hours return. Retun key box did not have bar code to indicate location and web site was not working correctly upon my early return. Everyone I spoke with was absolutly amazing! My only issue was with the website. Account issues from the start, no way to reset password as it says its sending a code, but never sends it. I was booking online and had a question on the RV storage size Large 13' x 33' x 99'. I wanted to know if this area was large enough for my 33 ft bumper pull travel trailer. I called the location and no one ever answered the phone at the location. I used the chat feature on U-haul and your rep had a difficult time getting an answer. The "manager" told your rep that space was large enough. So we hauled our trailer from our hometown of Watford City, ND to Rapid City, SD only to be told that storage spot is not large enough. I was unaware that U-Haul would not prorate my month of storage. I’ve been quarantined twice and was able to get my last six boxes out five days into the new month, leaving 25 days unused. I was doing the responsible thing and staying in for the safety of your staff and other customers and now I have to pay for 25 days of unused time. This is absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever seen. I am now paying for something I don’t have access to as I’ve given my key back and you will re-rent and get more money for, essentially double dipping. I have moved with you twice this year alone not to mention at least 10 moves in the last 20 years, it is so frustrating to see that my $72 is worth more to you than a long time loyal customer, not to mention doing the right thing during a global pandemic. The storage unit we reserved wasn't available. We had to take a different one that had stairs. One of our helpers couldn't use stairs. We had to have things moved in order to drive our trailer thru the lot. Both people working did their job but didn't explain or apologize for not having the unit we had reserved. I needed storage that would not freeze but didn't necessarily need temp controlled. This was wonderful and so much cleaner than most outside storage units that get dusty and dirty. The physical location and staff were convenient and great. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately, the outdoor storage option failed to fit the website's description and our needs. Access was limited to store hours only. U-Haul employees locked and unlocked the gate each morning and night. Tenants did not has afterhours access or the extended our similar to indoor storage.. Our 33 feet of space was limited by storage crates placed between the building and the rented lot space. The outdoor storage setup is definitely more ideal for a passenger vehicle over a RV or trailer. The owner does offer a military discount of 10%, which is nice. Overall, above average experience. So my experience was great in terms of customer service. The facilities are clean. However why in the heck is there a support beam in the middle of the hallway blocking my unit? It definitely was a hindrance. I worried about scratching or ruining my larger belongings. Very inconvenient. And despite everything else being great, this really ruined the experience.
