For one you might have your staff properly communicate pricing and shipping policies. I was repeatedly given misleading information and conflicting data throughout the experience. I went from requesting a tow hitch and a trailer and being PROMISED I would receive parts to ending up with parts lost in Limbo and my truck reservation went from 10 to 15 feet without my asking and my destination was incongruent with where I initially requested. Superb customer service. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We rented a 26 foot truck and an auto transport trailer. Both were clean and in excellent working order, and met our needs for the move. We are grateful for this company that provided great equipment, supplies and service at such a stressful time as moving. Extremely helpful and understanding of our frustration with U-haul due to being given damaged equipment. Staff was equally frustrated and stated that we should never have received such damaged equipment. Very friendly and we would highly recommend this facility. The engine light was on. When the truck was pulled around for us to take, the back of the uhaul was never closed and locked. We drove for a bit not realizing this. We filled the tank a couple times and then we were unable to. Went to 3 gas stations before it would allow us to put gas in. We even spent $15 on a gas can and tried that. After googling it, we believe it was caused from a vapor lock. After we were able to fuel it, the engine light went off.....RENEEB D.
Trailer was dirty with obvious rust. I am sure it will not impede performance of the trailer, but you asked. Morgan was amazing and was the hardest worker in the place. She helped at least 5 customers while the other dude only helped 1 customer in the same timeframe. No matter what you pay her, she needs a raise. Nothing they were busy and were busting their buts to get everyone taken care of. Paul took the time to explain things to a customer in front of me making sure she got the right product for her. The parking lot was cluttered and packed but to no fault of the store as there was city construction which cut their parking area in half. I've rented from this store multiple times and the staff is what makes me return to this specific location.Joel D.
Very upset after returning trailer I got an email showing I was charged double for a days rental. I called in and asked what is up. She said that I was to have brought back within 6 hours. I won't of got the extra charge of would of. But since, I didn't they charged me a second fee. FYI always say want whole day, if you don't want to get charged extra. Now I have to go in and talk to manager to reverse the extra charge. It was not explained to me at all that way.KIM D.

The call center told me there were no 5x8 trailers at this location. But when I got there, they did have several of these trailers, so I got the 5x8 trailer I wanted. The call center didn't have proper information on the equipment available at the pickup location. But, the staff at the pickup location was very helpful.KEITH A.
I had rented it for 2days, so that should of been 48 hours I had to have it back almost 3and a 1/2 hours earlier then the time I checked it out at , I felt I should of had to return it the same time I checked it out at,. I could've complete a bit more if I would've had the hours that I thought I paid for. Otherwise I was very satisfied with the rental I will tell friends to rent from you and I will rent again hopefully next time I will get the hours I thought I paid for. I was booking online and had a question on the RV storage size Large 13' x 33' x 99'. I wanted to know if this area was large enough for my 33 ft bumper pull travel trailer. I called the location and no one ever answered the phone at the location. I used the chat feature on U-haul and your rep had a difficult time getting an answer. The "manager" told your rep that space was large enough. So we hauled our trailer from our hometown of Watford City, ND to Rapid City, SD only to be told that storage spot is not large enough. I was unaware that U-Haul would not prorate my month of storage. I’ve been quarantined twice and was able to get my last six boxes out five days into the new month, leaving 25 days unused. I was doing the responsible thing and staying in for the safety of your staff and other customers and now I have to pay for 25 days of unused time. This is absolutely the worst costumer service I have ever seen. I am now paying for something I don’t have access to as I’ve given my key back and you will re-rent and get more money for, essentially double dipping. I have moved with you twice this year alone not to mention at least 10 moves in the last 20 years, it is so frustrating to see that my $72 is worth more to you than a long time loyal customer, not to mention doing the right thing during a global pandemic. We had to have things moved in order to drive our trailer thru the lot. Both people working did their job but didn't explain or apologize for not having the unit we had reserved. I needed storage that would not freeze but didn't necessarily need temp controlled. This was wonderful and so much cleaner than most outside storage units that get dusty and dirty. The physical location and staff were convenient and great. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately, the outdoor storage option failed to fit the website's description and our needs. Access was limited to store hours only. U-Haul employees locked and unlocked the gate each morning and night. Tenants did not has afterhours access or the extended our similar to indoor storage.. Our 33 feet of space was limited by storage crates placed between the building and the rented lot space. The outdoor storage setup is definitely more ideal for a passenger vehicle over a RV or trailer. The owner does offer a military discount of 10%, which is nice. Overall, above average experience. So my experience was great in terms of customer service. The facilities are clean. However why in the heck is there a support beam in the middle of the hallway blocking my unit? It definitely was a hindrance. I worried about scratching or ruining my larger belongings. Very inconvenient. And despite everything else being great, this really ruined the experience.
