Side marker lights on trailer are poor and some did not work. The picture shown online is not a good representation of the equipment. The 6' tongue in front of the trailer made backing and moving the trailer in our driveway impossible. The surge brakes on the tandem axel trailer were poor and would stay engaged when trying to take off and cause my truck to be jerked back when trying to take off from a stop. Also rendered my electronic brake controller unusable costing twice the gas cost and excessive wear on my truck.JEREMY P.

when i returned the trailer i rented, i parked it also unhooked it, i noticed the trailer could use some maintenance ,the screw jack was completely dry , to cranking it to raise the trailer of my ball hitch was almost impossible, it only takes a little lubricant to oil this and make a huge difference, also make parts last longer, not a big issue ,but would make a world of difference if customer ever has to remove this from there car for any reason, in general i rented many trailers from this location most of the staff are great and do there job well, thanks guys.LEONARD F.

Customer service. Representative have an attitude no customer service skill. Very short and no attention to detail. Employee was not very professional. Return space is very small and limited. Equipment was not clean before providing for service. Please be aware of your employee. There is one outside doing drugs while on clock.sun H.

Was very confusing to find the truck - it was well beyond where I would've thought to look. Wandered around for 15 minutes before I ran in to someone working (it was before opening as I did the 24/7 pick up). Once I got to the truck there was shattered glass all over the ground behind it then when I opened the truck there was glass inside. I brushed some out but it took me a while and I was almost late to meet my movers due to all thisSchaefer B.

I had to search multiple trucks around the property to even find my assigned vehicle as they didn't know where it would be and told me 'it could be behind the building in that lot too'. Then I worked hard to get it returned the same day, handed the keys to the front desk and was told I was all set. Later, I get a bill showing the truck wasn't checked in for two additional days. My emails to management went unanswered on the incorrect charges, despite showing photos with dates, times, and geolocation showing where the truck was when I turned it in.ELLIOTT R.

The store was fine, it would be nice to be able to call the store directly instead of getting routed to the hell known as customer service. The app doesn't work, to upload files, both in the online check in when uploading the dl image or the image when returning the equipment. My problem is your company policies, I followed the matrix provided by the employee and still ended putting way more gas in than was given to me originally, I think your gas policy is a scam. Also not letting me pay with my wife's credit card just because she wasn't present when I picked the truck is bullshit. I won't use uhaul again or recommend it. Personal hooking up trailer did not make sure the door would close. I did not. Another associate said that they would just change out the trailer. I asked if I need to come back inside to change and he told me he would take care of it and send me a email. He did not. I had to make a phone call the next morning to clear things up.Jeffrey P.

Unexpectedly rented a truck that was not large enough. I called this location for a trailer and they didn't disappoint. Love U-haul and I always use them. Don't even consider using anyone elseRODNEY S.
The staff at the Richardson location was more than awesome in helping me find the right size storage unit and made everything simple and seamless to get moved in. The facility is extremely clean and even smells good. The climate controlled units were are kept at a comfortable temperature which was once on a hot day. Dropped off my rental at 4:45 pm when it was due in by 5:30 pm. They guy at the counter took my Key and said I would get a receipt. I got a receipt later that evening saying I returned my rental at 6:15 pm when he decided to finally check it in. Because of this I was charged for an extra day. The next day I went up to the same location to get it fixed. The guy who helped me said I would get a refund and then be charged the correct amount. Later when I got another receipt I not only didn't get a refund but I was charged even more! Now i have to go up there for a second time and waste my time getting this fixed.Victor E.

I don't think the service guy was fully alert. He took my paper and didn't give it or a copy back to me. I complained about the extremely poor ride of the truck and I told him about hitting an object with the truck. I didn't receive all the equipment I paid for, the trucks carpet was soaked from the window being down during the rain. water was in the door handle food all in the cup holders. The employees at the Richardson location not helpful at all they closed the store before 8pm. They didn't give me the dolly that was paid for, when I went back up there at 7:55the store was closed. The employees waited till 8:04 to run out the store. One of them almost hit my car has he was driving away from the uhaul. Fire everyone at the uhaulPorschea D.

Last minute you called my wife instead of me and tried to relocate me to a difference drop off area that was an additional 10 miles away in DALLAS which equals another 35-45 minutes. The told her the original location was full (it was not when I arrived). Thankfully, I did not have my phone with me and she wasn't able to reach me. Honestly, the process with y'all was a hassle -- we literally felt hassled by your calls and your impolite employees that made the calls to let us know it was too bad that all locations had changed Your system of pickup and drop off with last minute/inconvenient changes makes a move MORE STRESSFUL! Not charge me for gas that I replaced. I was even told the gas was not quite full. So I took a picture of the gas Guage. I will call to get that charge removed. I was happy until I saw that fuel charge. Now I feel cheated and I have to take time from my day to call and dispute the fuel charge.BARRY G.

I have emailed the email given to me regarding questions or issues after my return date regarding being charged more than I was quoted, including a higher insurance premium than I agreed to and unknown additional charges that do not account for the 3 mile difference in expected vs real. My customer service was excellent. The worker serving the customer next to me was extremely rude to his customer. The customer came back in a few minutes later and asked to speak to the manager. The manager identified himself and said he had a lot of customers in line and indicated he was busy. As I left I saw the customer and rude worker outside talking with the manager. None of the communication I saw was acceptable. I'm not sure I'll return to that location even though I was treated well.REBECCA F.

The first girl to come help said she needed to cut the lock off my unit. She walked away to get the tools to cut the lock and she never came back! After waiting 15-20 minutes, I finally went and found someone else who did cut the lock off and get me in. On another note, why in the WORLD would you have a split unit storage system where the larger units are up a staircase?!?! It stands to reason that anyone using the larger units probably has furniture and now we have to carry that furniture up some stairs. This is about the dumbest thing in storage facilities I’ve ever encountered. We won’t be using this facility again for that reason alone.Sheri W. | First Impressions
There was no instructions on the email that said i had to receive some sort of card to move in. Because i did the online move in, the email said my storage room was ready to access and all i had to do was enter the building which is not the case. as soon as i opened my storage room, the alarm went off because i had no card to swipe. When we got to the facility, the storage room which we paid for was locked and we will we’re given no keys, we had already loaded our U-Haul van with our furniture.
