THOUSANDS of dollars worth of items stolen from my unit while it was under lock and key. Whoever stole these things went through the spaces between the units and managed through rip through boxes and steal things that are irreplaceable and of EXTREMELY high value.

Kelly CWhen picking up the employees were too busy making jokes to themselves to inform me I was supposed to inspect the vehicle before leaving and HOW TO RETURN IT. When I went to drop it off I went inside and waited in line only to find out by listening to others that I’d just drive up and someone would come get the keys etc from me. 22 minutes later three different guys in brown shirts had seen I was waiting and NONE of them approached me or asked me anything. So, I had to go up to them and tell them that o wanted to drop off. Horrible customer service.

Earlene JThe pick up process was not smooth. Th app gives the impression it is going to be very touch free but it isn't. It took speaking to three people by the front desk to get the keys and even then verification on the computer screen by one of the reps. It honestly would have much faster to have simply handled the entire process at the front desk. Drop off via the app gives the impression that someone else is going to need the keys pretty soon to use the truck so you can imagine my concern when I go to drop off the key and it is not in a box but instead is in a key drop slot so there is no chance for any other user to get the key. I had no choice but to drop the key in that slot. It doesn't look anything like the picture in the app.

DIGANTO CAll of the staff I dealt with were very friendly, helpful, flexible, and fast. This was so from start to finish. It was the only good experience I've had with a U-Haul location. Until now, U-Haul has been a last resort, but this Round Rock location would be my first choice in the future. Just follow the rules and remember to fold the moving blankets before returning. ;-)

NAJIBULLAH LPros: Employee service, reservation and pickup process were smooth and fine. Cons: Not unique to this location, I reserved a truck and appliance dolly online only to find they didn't have an appliance dolly for me when I went in for pickup. Also, the 15ft truck leaked significantly; water absolutely poured in from the rain. Having parked on an incline in the driveway I went to unload my stuff to discover about 2 inches of standing water in the "mom's attic" area of the truck. Ruined a box of books that were in cardboard; thankfully the other stuff was in plastic bins. Wish the employees felt capable of doing something more than just saying "sorry".

There were some items that I was unable to put into the storage because of all the heat that was trapped in the building. The move into the storage ended up taking me 1 extra day because the heat in the location is unbearable. I have reached out to the manager of this location to try and come to a settlement. All he did was send me an email apologizing for the inconvenience but hasn't fully taken ownership of the matter. I would like to be refunded for the extra day that I had the trailer. The weather in Round Rock has been in the triple digits. If the AC was not working at that location I should have at least been notified and rebooked to another Uhaul location that wasn't having that issue.
Ricardo C | Online Move InWe reserved a 10x10 unit, however, when I finalized the reservation at your location I was told we would have two 5x10 units. Having two units was no big deal but I told the woman who processed my reservation that I wasn’t sure if I needed both units. I specifically asked if after I loaded everything I only needed one of the two could I cancel the second unit that wasn’t needed. She told me that it would be no problem to remove the unneeded unit from our account. I loaded my items in the unit and found I did only need one of the 5x10 units. I went back to the office and spoke with the same woman who previously helped me and explained that I only needed the one unit. At this point I was told that I had to keep both units. She told me that if I wanted a single unit she would have to move me to a different location. When I told her I literally just finished and that I didn’t want to move her response was “well you can’t take only one of those and either move or keep both.” When I reminded her that she told me I could keep only one if needed she said “I know I told you , I apologize but you can’t. Do you want to move?” So now I’m paying $150/month for a space that costs less than half of that. Your employee knew that those units couldn’t be split but took advantage of me knowing that it is impractical to move all of my stuff it another unit after spending an hour moving in. I will never do business with your location again and I will be sure to let everyone I know in the Austin area what kind of business you run. I hope the extra money you are making from my second unused space is worth the potential loss of revenue and reputation. I will also be sending a letter to uhaul corporate explaining how I was ripped off and posting my expo on my social media channels. I will be sure to tag your location if you have one so there’s no confusion about where people should avoid doing business
