Customer service was absolutely horrible. Bobby and Reggie were HORRIBLE to deal with. I was basically threatened with not being able to rent. I was told next time they'll just give my rental away. When I asked for his name, I was told â€œoh so you can tell on me, I don't care.â€ I have never been treated this way. I can't believe this is tolerated and one of them is in a leadership position. the gear selector indicater was one gear off ,meaning neutral was reverse and drive was neutral,and 3rd gear is drive, staff knows about the problem they told its ok.I believe it could get someone killed.STEPHEN C.
Online checking was good. Staff in the morning at pickup were rude and it was clear to see they were unhappy and did not like their job. Vehicle dirty, old and lacked power. Poor customer service. I had reserved the truck for 8am and the man ignored me until 9am. Then I was charged with no explanation another $39 because I brought the truck back 2 hrs late even though they charged me for having the truck from 8am and I never received it until 9am due to him not talking to me. The man was a grumpy face who did not speak just sat they with a scowl on his face. Worst customer service ever.Kyle W.
For starters: leave the keys in the access box for after hour pick up. Very frustrating to reserve a truck, 30 minute drive to pick it up and over an hour at the store trying to figure out where the keys are. Thankfully I was called by an agent. Gave me a totally different truck (10ft) that had to be back by 6am. That was fine. By the time I got the 10ft. truck to my storage unit it was closed for the night. I returned the truck to the facility unable to use it due to the time it took me to get the truck. Now, I'm being charged for the 15ft. truck (that had no keys) and only drove 20+ miles on the 10ft. truck. I hope this will be resolved due to lack of communication and readiness on behalf of the store. Lack of confidence renting from this store on a â€œ24/7â€ availability.Richard M.
When I reserved the van, I added a furniture dolly to the reservation, but upon pickup at the scheduled time there weren't any available. I passed several of them on my way to the counter, I guess those were just for sale and not to be provided for rental when someone reserves one. Just because the lady who helped me was friendly and the van was clean I'm giving 4 stars. It could have been 5 if I got all what I reserved for.Joe G.

Customer service! Went to store to confirm reservation and to see if we could change the time of pick up. The young lady that was working the counter was rude, acted like she did not care if she could or could not help with our request. She and the man at the counter smacking on ice like we were bothering them. Very short with answers and no customer service at all. Told we could pick up the truck from their location at 7 on the 24th, arrived 7:30ish. The same 2 unpleasant people were there. We walked in and I spoke to him saying good morning, he was very short and rude â€œbe with you in a minâ€. He then denied that we could pick up the truck that early. I took off work to do this. I told him that this was BS and went to my car. My family dealt with him. We asked questions about how tall the truck was â€œI don't know, it is on the truck.â€ Just rude comments.Tera H.

The utility dolly was left out of the rental. I only noticed it after I already had left. I returned and was provided a dolly immediately. The staff were apologetic about the mishap. If staff were able to double check for each other, that would have helped. But overall good experience. Easy to check in and return equipment. Online inventory matched.Lung K.

If you ask me this was the worst experience ever and both those disgusting people should be fired. Initially, I was thinking great, this is easy, get your keys and go but 15 miles up the road at my goods pickup location, I realize the dolly and blankets I paid for were not there. All I could do was return the van. Complete waste of time. On arrival back at the depot, I am treated like I am at fault. They even said it was my responsibility to check the van for the bits I asked for. Seriously? I ask for a receipt because I was told to bring it back full of fuel and there was less than half when I left, so no way was I bringing it back full and they don't even know which van they lent me and therefore cannot work out what to charge me, when in fact they should have charged me nothing for the complete waste of 45 min. On leaving, frustrated by the incompetence they have the audacity to say, there is always one and he was gonna be that guy. I was not rude to them, I was annoyed that they wasted my time and charged me for the pleasure but I was not rude. People like that should be fired. Customer service is important and there is one thing I can guarantee you. I will never use U-Haul again and given the awful behaviour of your staff, I will actually now go out of my way to discourage others. Pathetic, rude, disgusting behaviour in an attempt to cover up useless lazy and downright awful service.Wayne T.

They said they were too busy to check me in when I was there. It took me calling multiple times because I did not get my receipt confirmation. I was put on extremely long holds and was told with attitude they're too busy to take calls with people at their location.Melanie A.
When I returned the vehicle after only using it for 6 hours the clerk was a complete jerk to me. I have neurological condition and safe to say boy he treated me exacerbated it and made me shake for the rest of the day. This was my first time renting a U-Haul truck. I found the entire easy and efficient. The truck was in very good condition and I had no issues driving it nor loading/unloading my stuff. Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly. My only constructive feedback would be to offer lower rates if a customer only needs the truck for a few hours vs a full day. I spent $60 just for a few hours which is more than I wanted to pay. On the other hand, I was willing to pay it because I needed a way to transport some large items between storage units. So, I really do appreciate the service you offer. :)Vicki H.

I walked in and no one said anything to me. Then the girl at the counter could not have cared less about her job. She was resting her face on her hand like she was bored while she was typing on the computer and "helping" me. She mumbled and was very unprofessional. When we went to hook up the trailer we went outside and she just walked away and gave me no instructions so I had to assume to move the car back. It's a good thing I'd been to this location before but I don't think I'll be coming back again. I selected “NO”on would I recommend to a friend because when I got there with my reservation I was told that you guys did not have the size unit that I had reserved. I had reserved a 10 x 15 I was told I could have 3 10 x 5s which is not the same. That’s not the surprise you want when you were going to be moving in a week. I think U-Haul could do a better job with the reservations. I tried to complete my reservation online and it would not let me so I had to go into the office location. It all worked out though I was able to get the 10 x 15 but it was not until I was checking out did the attendant notice that there was one 10 x 15 available.Jeff B. | First Impressions

Having carts to help move is the best ever. Clean and safe storage. Easy move out procedure. You could use another ramp to move from the truck to storage units. I've used uhaul for moving and storage over the past 2 years. They are very easy to work with and in my opinion facilities for storage are way better than the rest (especially in Manchester nh). I had some difficulties with public storage in the same town. I have been completely satisfied with u-haul vehicles and storage in Manchester, NH, and round rock tx.Joel R. | Overall Experience
There was some confusion about the dimensions of the unit. It was tall when I assumed it was long. The staff was helpful in changing me to a different size that better met our needs. Unfortunately, moving a large piece of furniture into the unit was difficult based on the hallway size and needing to turn several corners. My husband and I were able to manage it, but it was more complicated than imagined. The handcarts would have been very helpful if we had been able to to turn corners with them and the furniture. Again, our issue, but something for others to consider when accepting a unit. We utilized a shoulder dolly system (one we own, but are available for sale in the check-out area) and that was far more helpful.Kristine B. | Online Move In
