I had an Austin reservation but they were booked till 11am so I decided to go to Round Rock!! Best choice I made!!

Because of inconveniences when initially picking up the trailer in Round Rock Texas, I was granted an extra five days, that I didn't ask for, but was not charged for initially. When I got to the drop off point in Norwalk California I had only used an extra three days, because I took longer to drive from Texas to California seeing as how I had an extra 5 days to turn it in, but after I turned it in I was charged for the extra three days and then whenever an inquiry was put in saying that it was actually a legitimate extra five days granted to me in Texas it was denied in California. I'm still fighting to get my $60 back so therefore I am very unhappy to have to spend yet another hour on a phone call trying to get my my money back. Get you act together Norwalk!

I was there for almost an hour because there was an "issue with the system" yet another guy came in and got his rental in less than 5 min. Very frustrating when your on a time crunch. There needs to be better understanding on how to troubleshoot when problems arise.

Do not rent out malfunctioning trucks to customers. The truck I was driving the steering wheel had at least a 30? problem where you had to turn the wheel 30? to the left to go straight. The AC was not functioning properly it was cold and then it wasn't cold and was cold and then it wasn't cold. Also the antilock brake system was very very touchy. I barely had to touch the brakes and it would try to seize up. The truck that I was driving needs to be taken out of circulation. I was told by the manager it would be. However the staff was very friendly and very kind. I just have trouble trusting the truck and I did not feel safe driving this vehicle.

Online system needs to enable rentals more than 14 days. I needed the trailer for 15 days but the online system only allowed up to 14 days. I had to call customer service to extend my rental. However I went with the online system because every time I called I was on hold for over 30 minutes.

It was a great experience overall. Gentleman that helped me with the car transport did an great job explaining to me everything that I needed to know regarding the rental and return. Smooth transaction! The only recommendation for area of improving would be the wait/hold time on the phone when I called to confirm my reservation although the store rep did call me while I was on hold.

I went to another location first and they didn't put the key in the box. Then I came to this one and they had a truck they had told me earlier that they wouldn't have. So maybe just a little more cohesion in what trucks are where. As well as where the keys are.

The gentleman who helped us was really friendly and helpful - absolutely great at his job. It seemed like everyone there is very well trained in customer service and efficienctly running the location. There was a pretty decent line when we arrived, but the employees kept everything moving quickly, and we only ended up having to wait a few minutes. I was genuinely impressed!

Round rock location was horrible. Employees fighting in front of customers. this location stole property from me, and despite several attempts at reconciliation they refuse to cooperate or even apologize. Uhaul is not someone I would recommend again. I will be seeking legal recourse.

What I don't appreciate about my experience yesterday was being overcharged for mileage traveled. I know the overcharge was probably only about $5 - but I know for a fact that the mileage noted in the receipt was not accurate as I had looked at the mileage gauge as I left the store and instead of being 1412 as was noted on the receipt - it was actually 1420. I know that vans get moved around and used by the people who work there. Since I don't often rent vehicles "by the mile" I didn't think to have the U-haul employee check the mileage gauge with me - but you can bet I will in the future.

i was charged more for the gas i took it with half a tank and i returned it with half i was still charged for 12 gallons of gas that i did not need to add. was charged more then what i needed to pay

Really nothing, maybe have more employees there to maximize the amazing experience. I am a single mom, went there for help with a truck, some equipment and storage, it was for a complicated move so I had to do more than one reservation, I was offered the best offer with great patience from the owner, the other guys were helpful as well, but the owner was beyond great. I recommend this location for everyone!

very slow and very basic. I would use the smaller center on 3406 next time. DID NOT Get Credit for returning 12 blankets rented on another contract. Is it customary to ignore this on cross contracts?

Was called night before and told they overbooked 26' truck and would i take a 20' with free miles. i said sure. the price was for 1 way when i wanted in town and instead of 39 + miles it ended up being over $100. Even with the "discounts" I still overpaid. i will not do business with Uhaul again, i tried to help them with what really amounted to their problem and ended up getting screwed over. I didn't have time to argue the bill any longer as we only had a twelve hour window to move. I didn't mind the folks in the shop but it was way high and i could have gotten a better deal elsewhere.

Train your employees to be sure and explain the process. .let people know that they can't just drop off a vehicle At any u haul location.. really bad employees that act like they don't want to be there. Pitiful.

I don't like that there are stacks of boxes you have to go around all the way to the back of the store when you enter the store in order to get to the counter. This may be some kind of security measure. If not, I would prefer to proceed directly to the counter.

Far too many hoops to jump through to rent one of you trucks. Took 45 minutes to rent when I was the only person in line. Valid ID, Valid, phone, Valid email, yet so many questions and hoops that are asked and needed just to rent a daily use truck.

The engine in my truck felt like it was working incredibly hard to get into 2nd and 3rd gear anytime I started from a stop. The vehicle has 130k+ miles on it, which could be the issue. It ran well but sounded like the engine was really straining just to make it to 40mph.

This store was covered up with returns when I arrived. i was greeted when I arrived on the lot and given instruction where to park the Truck. While checking in the person behind the counter communicated clearly with those in the store to help expedite the check in process. I had not rented a U-Haul truck in the last 20 years but found the whole process easy. Thanks to all who helped

We were helped by 2 amazing individuals, the first helped me reserve and answered all my many questions. The second was when we came to pick it up and he was very accommodating to all of my husbands questions.

Some of the staff at the Round Rock location were friendly. Some were not unfriendly, but not friendly either. The most aggravating issue was the amount of time it took to enter the information of my move on their computer. It took a very long time! Two people helped me. They're pressing buttons and everything. But this was a UBox going from Round Rock, Texas to El Paso Texas. And I was picking up the Box at the Round Rock office and dropping it back. Should have been a straight-forward and simple process.But with all the keystrokes, it looked like they were booking a multi destination trip around the world! Also, I visited the office before renting the UBox, and the gentleman quoted me price. Then, I went back the following day in the morning, and another guy quoted me an identical price, and we made the arrangement, and I took the UBox to pack my things. Then, I came back a few hours later to drop off the Box. This time, a different person said the pervious employee made some wrong entries, so the order had to be done again. Not only did it take a long time, but he quoted me much higher price. I don't think he was going to give me a lower price until I showed him the email with the original contract that had lower price. Not a good experience! However, I had a very good experience with the lady at the UHaul at El Paso!

We always use this location and everyone is always great and patient with the customers. We can be be very demanding but these guys keep their cool! Great staff! One problem, Uhaul needs to fix their inventory system. It did not properly hold my truck at right location.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. My only issue was we changed the auto tow trailer in the store before we left to Colorado. The App never made the update. Then U-Haul changed our drop off location. I specifically picked a different location because of how easy it is to pull in the 26ft truck. This new location is very difficult. However the AP showed my original reservation, the U-Haul online account showed 2 auto tow trailers, 26ft truck and new drop off location. I had to call in to U-Haul to make sure we weren't charged for both auto tow trailers and find out exactly where to drop the trailer/truck.

The option to check in online or check in at the store is confusing. I ended up waiting longer after checking in online that if I had just waited in line. There is no clear area to pick up the keys and the store attendants were unclear of which reservations had been checked in online. Overall it took much longer than expected to pick up our truck which was a little frustrating but we were able to use the truck and return as needed.

I chose this UHaul facility because it was climate controlled -inside. Unfortunately, there was a roof leak and many of my things were damaged. I will be filing a claim. Not happy with this at all.
