The online return process was absolutely terrible. It kept giving errors and crashing at various points through the process. I was charged for estimated mileage, actually used 1/4 that amount - the truck had more capacity than I expected so only one trip was required. I was overcharged by $30. Will call on Monday for a correction. So, booking and check-in was great, truck was super, i checked out at the kiosk in the lot, should have gone inside. This is the 4th or 5th time I have rented from this location since moving to the area 2 1/2 years ago, and every experience has been enjoyable and stress free. On returning the truck I twice requested it be inspected to confirm condition, gas and mileage readings. The staff refused my requests. When the receipt was received it showed incorrect mileage (actual mileage used was less than 25), excessive fuel charge and additional days. I went back on Mar 23rd at 3:00 pm to discuss these matters with a manager. Instead of reasonable customer care the man was beyond arrogant and disrespectful. It was very difficult and rare that I was able to connect with anyone to discuss status, arrangements for pickup/delivery of the box. I was also very disappointed I wasn't given the option to pick up the ubox myself as I had the necessary trailer hitch and ball to get the ubox from the delivery location. I could have saved $225. It is not likely I'll use Uhaul and it's Ubox again.George D.

I would never rent a unit from Uhaul EVER again. It was a nightmare from the start. The only upside was that it was free to keep my stuff there for 6 weeks after arguing with the manager about the rate. Then when the day came to move out they had put a lock on my unit. We chose Uhaul Storage as the location was convenient for what we were looking for and not for the service or management. Do not waste your time on the website looking for a unit to rent/reserve. The online reservation and email confirmation you receive mean absolutely nothing. If you call them or speak to them in person they will tell you that the units are given out first come first serve at physical check-in and that the reservation you have taken the time to make does not hold a space for you. Moving in itself is stressful enough, but packing all week and moving all day, hours in a truck, and then finding out that the storage size you are requesting is sold out that day is not available when you plan to arrive is just the most unsettling news. Luckily while we were a just a few hours from arriving to the facility they called us back and told us a room had just opened up. The storage manager was very helpful who is a lady but don't remember her name. But when I went to pick up the truck to empty my storage on the 8th the facility assistant manager who was a gentleman he was very very disrespectful. He takes about the lady who helped me on the 6th real bad he said she should have never do what she did also his inter act with me was awful. My card didn't work to get me back and forth get every trip I made. The guy who was doing the vehicle cleaning etc had to help me. The so called assistant manager was so bad I refuse to ask him any more questions. Don't remember his name but in a rating of 1 to 10 I gave him a -50. For two years I had oil, pink in color dripping into my unit. Each time I complained, the oil was cleaned, but they never fixed the problem at it's source. Each time claiming they couldn't locate the owner of the init above me. In May 2020, I paid for May & June storage. At end of May myself & husband went to get some items out of the unit. The pink oil was again dripping into my unit. We had to clean it ourselves... then we just took everything out and terminated our storage. I asked for a refund of June rent, I was told I had to speak to the manager, so I left a message for him to call. He never called. I tried calling him and just got a recording with no option to leave a message. The Salisbury UHaul is filthy and there is no resolution to problems... alot of my personal belongings were damaged and had to be discarded.
