The checkout process was easy and fast. The website was not working when the staff member tried to finalize the return. Although I don't think there were any extra charges, it would have been nice to see any charges if applicable. The staff memenet that helped me was very professional and kind. Some other staff seemed less enthusiastic.

My pickup and drop-off experiences were both very efficient and smooth. On pickup, I was served by a very knowledgeable, friendly and professional representative. A minor complication with my hitch's compatibility with the trailer I selected was handled by the staff without issue. Only minor issue is with the location's entrance pathway, which is accessible only from one side of a multi-lane road and is tricky to enter when crowded. But overall, super pleasant.

My rental was originally given up as I was a few hours late due to vehicle issues. I had no idea, I mean I put in my credit card to hold it. Why can it be given to someone else if I was an hour late. Thankfully they were able to locate another trailer as I had drove 300 miles to pick this up in order to tow a vehicle back with me, however this new trailer was over 30 miles away. Overall I drove 60 miles out of my way to pick up a trailer that was no longer available. At about 15 miles per gallon it cost me about an extra 20 dollars for a mistake I was unaware of or I would have called to to say I was running late. Maybe a little off my bill would ease the pain...

My review was not on this specific location but my overall experience. I rented a trailer in San Jose California. Upon inspection it was not operating properly and I was sent to Santa Cruz to pick up another trailer. Right outside Salt Lake City I was pulled over by the police who noticed the axel looked abnormal. Upon further inspection we saw the tires were completely bald and I called roadside assistance. Roadside inspected the tires and axel and said the trailer was recently serviced and not properly fixed. They put new tires on and said the new tires would wear out before we reached our final destination in Michigan. After a call with customer support I was promised an emergency transfer to a ubox and the charge would be refunded. For the past 3 weeks I have been calling customer support for the status of the refund and keep getting handed off to another employee who can't help. This has been a very stressful and frustrating experience. I only did the emergency transfer because I was told it would be reimbursed, I now have $4000+ charges on my card. I have been very disappointed in the manner in which uhaul has handled this situation and plead to have someone help me. Please help

Staff your road hazard call center! We waited hours until midnight only to find out from the road hazard crew they were sitting around doing nothing. No call from U-Haul to send them to us!

Billing! I filled her up to the top just across the street at Sinclair. I still got charged for 2 Gallons of gas for $12!!! The rental rate advertised was $19.99. However, there is a surprise Rental Rate of $39.90. Why? Why not 19.99? And with overcharge for gas (which was a lie) - not a good experience.

Do not add additional charges unknown to the customer. When asked how long I would have the equipment, I replied "less than a day." I meant I would return it within the 24 hrs allowed for a one-day rental, but my return time was listed as 7 pm, 6 1/2 hrs. after I was renting. I also asked where I could drop the equipment after hours and was directed to the drive in front of the store. My return time was not changed, and I was not made aware of an after-hours drop fee. So, I was astounded to see that my original one-day total charge of $16.07 for a one-day motorcycle trailer rental went to $53.62 because I was charged for two rental periods and a $20 afterhours drop fee. I had the equipment for less than 15 hours, but the total charge more than tripled to what I would have paid for 3 days.

I rent uhauls for business. We have a fleet if trailers but about 2 times a month we'll need an additional trailer for local drops. Over the years I've rented from almost all of the other locations in the area and this location is the best! They always have what I need, the one time they didn't they found one for me that was less than 4 miles away! The employees are always nice, helpful and get you in and out fast! The best part is the price.....rented a trailer last week $16.89 for 24hrs including tax!! You can't beat that, and I didn't even have to get out of my truck when I dropped it off! The nice gal came out, smiled, chatted for a minute, unhooked me and off I went. You just don't get this kind of service at other uhaul locations. From start to finish, this is the place I'd highly recommend!

The U-Haul location is the best run rental business I have encountered in over 30 years. I spoke to a new employee who said a reason he took the job is the enthusiasm of existing employees about the quality of work they provide. It shows every time I visit. Keep up the great work!

It was a very easy transition I did it on my smartphone but there was also a very helpful lady at one of the booths that helped me a lot, she was very knowledgeable and walked me through every step fast and easy she even walked with me to the U-Haul truck, thank you very much When i returned my rental back, there was 2 U-Haul workers there and they where awesome, very helpful and knowledgeable, no wait at all. they were friendly, professional Thank you a lot U-Haul guys at 3900 s Salt Lake City

Customer service was not there by Amanda. I’ve always have had a great experience, until yesterday. It made my trip across country end frustrated. No one wants to drive 32 miles across country and have to deal with the attitude Amanda displayed yesterday. I chose to drive another hour back the other direction just so I wouldn’t have to deal with her .

The map indicates "drive thru" loading/unloading. However, there is not a drive thru. I went in with a trailer and had to back out. You should update your facility map to indicate one way in and out.

Your employee Amanda customer service skills made me decide that after 3 days of driving and as tired as I was, was not worth the attitude she displayed. I can understand, she may run a tight ship, but work with you customer. Don't make them feel that it was a mistake to choose uhaul.

We were at your location just before 8p. Your staff was very helpful. It would have been more convenient for us to use the drive in drop off. I did call ahead and was told I would have access if I got there by 8p. I did have access (through the man-door) but we would have come sooner had we known about the cutoff time for the drive in - or even know anything about it at all. It's such a great service! My only comment would be to communicate a little more info to those who make the effort to call in. I didn't know to ask the questions. Otherwise, I was super impressed with your staff.

The customer service there was ridiculous. Soon as i walked in they were already complaining about the truck. I got a 25$ cleaning fee for barley any garbage in the truck. I got a gas fee for it being exactly where it was when i left for 20$! Very unprofessional location. All they wanted to do was argue and not answer questions! Never again will i go here

Everyone was terrific. Very helpful. The most difficult part was calling and trying to reach a live individual. That was impossible! Worse was driving up and seeing employees standing around talking on texting but yet too busy to pick up the phone so I had to drive 30 miles to storage unit to ask a question in person. Otherwise staff was friendly and helpful when I was there in person!

The associate, Natasha vasquez, was very helpful. She was compassionate and understanding in my situation and was able to get me into a unit that was suitable for my needs. She also was able to arrange for me to drop off my uhaul truck at her store as it was scheduled to drop off at a different location. In my opinion, she worked some magic and probably deserves a raise.

The people that I spoke with on the phone, the reservation people were not that nice. They acted as if they had somewhere else to be, lost my order and when I tried giving them my reservation number, he acted as though he didn’t even want it. Very rude on the phone. But when we got down to the storage facility, the Uhaul people were very helpful and showed me how to use the card and showed me where my storage was. All in all, I give Uhaul a 6 out of 10 this time for your service. I was great full for the help on such a stressful moving day.

When I arrived for storage the staff gave me too small of a unit because they assumed my trailer was a smaller size than it actually was and I had reserved a bigger unit in advance. If they had looked at my account and reservation to begin with they would've seen the trailer was a 6x12. After unloading a few items I knew it was too small so they said they were overbooked by ten units and didn't have a bigger size. I reserved everything in advance so after they looked on computer and me telling them I absolutely need a bigger unit they magically had my original size available. When I moved out and closed out the unit on Dec 1st they could not find my storage unit under my name. They had put both my first name with my emergency contacts name. So the guy who originally put my info in the computer messed up and did not even seemed like he wanted to be there or was new but none of this is my problem. I was glad to have had the free first month because I definitely wouldn't have wanted to pay for all these unnecessary employee errors. I won't recommend this location and won't be going back.

In the beginning it was excellent but as time went by I attempted several times to get a hold of the site manager, Steve Bendixson, by phone (almost every time it went to a customer service person not on site despite the phone number being supposedly to the store and that c.s. person said they would email Steve but I never got a reply, by email (only responses came during the last few months but generally meant my still having to go to the store --I had asked that he phone me as I use a wheelchair and now live quite a bit away and have to use public transportation). When I moved 1/2 of my belongings to a smaller unit I wasn't told I no longer had 24 hrs access so ended up making a trip to move the last of belongings out for nothing with volunteers. So score at beginning of lease until July of 2020 would have been a 5/5 stars then it slowly dropped and by the last month it was down to 1/5 but after a call to corporate office with the complaint Steve emailed me (again I had to go down because of his not calling which wasted almost 45 minutes of my time as this could have been done in the phone call) I would say it was at a 1.5 star. I am also at a loss as to why my unit had a padlock on it for supposedly lack of payment but my bill was current (luckily I had checked my unit during one of those having to come in person trips just before I took the last out and went and got Steve to look as he didn't believe me telling him of the presence of the special lock and posted notice). Your phone system needs updating to include a way to speak with the store directly and if someone has questions about the storage unit.

I have never been so stereesed out in my life I live in Orem drive here 3 times and u guys had no storage fir me finally gave me one upstairs 5x5?it didn’t fit so I still have my stuff in their getting another storage it’s been a night mare 3 days it took to get a 5 x 5

Your Staff was not helpful. Would not work with us in some special circumstances. Told us we were all set and would make it work for us so we were ok with the price. Then to find out they did not help in any way....... Not Happy!

Storage unit was clean. Access to the unit was difficult because there was often someone parked right in front. The staff seem very uninterested or even put out to help.

For the space like a "less than a small closet size" the cost is too high and should remain I feel around $70-75. I would pay that as I was there over 20 years and felt even $99 was too high, when the increase to so much higher was made and deadline the 27th is why I had to find another place to store my piano and only a few inches of space left for christmas village boxes of ceramics too high in cost when on a fixed social security of $900

We rented the unit at the start of the pandemic to store items my son didn’t need at home when the university closed. The staff made us feel comfortable renting and leaving items. They were awesome anytime they saw my son come in or out. If we need storage again, we will be back! Thank you.
