I had rented the 17 foot truck over a week in advance. The morning of my moving it wasn't available. They gave me a 10 ft. truck which i renter at amother location. There's no way I could make a one trip move with that truck. I called customer service. They found me a 15' truck at yet another location. So I have now rented 2 trucks. I was able to make the move with 2 trucks. I should've gotten that for free due to all the mixup. Returning the trucks was a pain, different locations. To have all this happen on moving day was very maddening. I'd like more than the 50 dollar refund from the first dealership.

Felt like I was at the dmv in West Valley. Staff was short and rude. I know that memorial weekend is a busy time to move but trying to turn customer's away before they can ask a question is bad business and unprofessional. This particular group of employee's needs a lesson on customer service.

cab of truck reeked of cigarette smoke, and side mirrors very difficult to adjust. had to have employee move them for me because so tight i could not move them

I had a little problem with the lights on the trailer, The uhaul employee found the problem, it was my truck, a blown fuse leading to the plug on the rear of the truck. They replace it, all lights were working. the good service was there, thank you uhaul

My initial experience was great when I spoke with Kiley Brown, who was the GM. I went in to make a reservation, and was ready to pay whatever the reservation costs were, however Kiley advised me they priced match, went out of his way to look up the lowest price for me, printed out a copy of the quote, and said he wanted to make sure I paid the lowest price! I didn't even ask! I was so floored by how great it was. However, my plans changed, and I needed to cancel my reservation. When I was able to finalize new plans, I decided to go back to this location because of my positive experience with Kiley. However going today (5/22/2016 at about 1 PM) the man who was there treated me very poorly, like I was a liar and a criminal. I simply advised him I had previously made and cancelled a reservation and would like to make a new one. Because of the information Kiley provided me about price matching, I had thought I was doing my due diligence by placing a reservation at the competitor so I would have a quote ready for them to price match, as I would have loved to give my business to this Uhaul location instead. The man working today was very defensive about it, and said I needed to provide documented printed proof. (wouldn't accept any other proof, not the competitor website or an email confirmation.) When I advised him Kiley kindly went to the website and printed it out in 5 seconds last time, he said that was absolutely against policy, and he said, verbatim exactly in a very angry tone "I will CHALLENGE my GM on that!" I'm not sure who even owns a printer in todays day and age with emails and internet, but the mere fact he was such a stickler, despite pulling up the website himself, and providing a completely opposite experience than the first one I had, and having such an accusatory and defensive tone, has completely ruined my experience. I am moving on the 26th, and have decided to use the competitor because of the experience I had in store today. Stores should provide consistent experiences, and the mere fact that the only person with any brains and customer service skills is the GM, is very concerning. I hope this location can improve.

when the uhaul was picked up, my mother did not realize the hood was open until she arrived at the location of moving, I had told her that it was open. i closed the hood the rest of the way upon her arrival. she had my 2 children int he truck with her, these need to be taken better care of when being returned. if the hood would've been opened opened it would have caused a very severe accident, and possibly death of someone. please check better the equipment better for safety issues.

Overall the experience was not very good. Your questions do not address some issues. For instance, I had to go to another location to pick up an auto transport. A tire on it was bad so we tried an older smaller one that did not fit my jeep. I was then forced to spend and additional hour and a half traveling back to the original store and found out auto transports were there. So in general I would taste the experience as poor, but the original store was accommodating and helpful.

It seems your computers are always down and not working. This happened when picking up the truck and when I called to find out where the credit is. The truck was 45 minutes late. It is interesting that all charges went through on that day, but the credit still has not been received yet.

Truck was old...really old. Driving on the freeway shook the dashboard so much that I couldn't even use the drink holder without having my drink spilling everywhere. No overdrive available, and no hazard light feature (?!). I was also charged for a furniture dolly and blankets that wasn't provided to me for the move (even though I requested them).

The young lady at uhaul was very helpful. And took her job very serious. I could tell she was a professional at her job. Even went as far as to hook the trailer up for me. I would say she went the extra mile. Should of got her name so I could use it in this comment.

There was a line when i got there, but service was fast and reservation process incredibly easy. The man who spoke with us was very helpful, once we got to the counter the time between then and getting the truck was a matter of minutes.

The price was more then what I wanted to pay. I tried to reserve a 10' truck online they were currently out so I had to upgrade. 2 weeks ago I was able to rent a bigger truck and go 3 times the distance for $15 less and was allowed to return it to any location so I will probably use budget from now on
