Location was not the location I selected when I setup the rental, had to travel to Salt Lake to pickup in the middle of an out of state move. My time was limited and had to travel out of my way to pick up a vehicle when there were much closer locations.

They were friendly and what I thought was helpful. It was a smooth experience. However, they had told me that I would get a month free storage as soon as I arrived. They did not inform me I would need to reserve a spot, nor that it was a promotional rate on regular storage. It ended up being a nightmare trying to get storage with 4 other facilities involved.

We rented a trailer for 24 hours. We turned in the trailer the next day at the correct time, thinking all was well. One week later, Uhaul called us asking where the trailer was. My husband's credit card got charged twice for a whole weeks price. My credit card that I used to reserve the reservation also got charged for a whole week's price. We called and called and asked to talk to the manager. Left messages for the manager to return our call. The manager to this day has not returned my call. Extremely hard to talk to the store that you used to rent Uhaul. Horrible communication. Need to have a better way of returning rentals to validate the return. still getting hassled to this day. Horrible experience!!

When a customer makes a reservation to a preferred location be considerate and have ALL equipment at that location instead of having the customer run all over collecting it, or at the least provide ample notice. I was notified less than 24 hrs of this and logistically and time wise this really complicated everything

The entry and approach to service desks was crowded with boxes, and other movable equipment. It was not clear where one should stand to wait in line. There was only one other customer being served. Eventually another staff member came out to help me, but the timing of that could have been improved.

The scheduling department really messed up, not letting me know that the pickup was at a different location, and getting the time wrong. But the assistant manager at this site was fast, efficient, and quick to make things right. I was on the verge of never doing business with U-haul again, but he has made me and my fiancé customers for life.

I am writing to dispute the charges on what I would refer to as the Rental From Hell. I reserved a 6 X 12 enclosed trailer to be picked up at Emissions Time in Sandy for a move to Midvale. I arrived at Emissions Time at 9:00 a.m. to pick up my trailer. I waited 20 minutes to be helped. When my turn came I was informed that I was to pick up my rental at the 3900 South Location. I showed the confirmation e-mail to the representative. He then turned the computer screen in my direction so I could read the comments on the order. It said the customer was called and he was informed the trailer would be available at 3900 South. I showed the representative my cell phone. There were no missed calls and I could account for all calls received. I assure you this call never happened. I then drove to 3900 South and waited again. I was assisted by Dakota who informed me that there was not a trailer for me at that location either. The only thing close to the size of the trailer I reserved was the 6 x 12 open trailer which I signed the agreement for. I drove out to the lot and did not even hitch up the trailer. I came back in the building and once again had to wait for help. This time I was assisted by Kiley Brown who supposedly cancelled this order. He also made arrangements for me to pick up a 5 x 10 trailer at 5305 South State Street. Kiley also said he would issue the $50 credit for not having the trailer due to the inconvenience I had experienced. I then drove to 5305 South State to stand in yet another line to get the smaller trailer. I went out into the yard to hitch it up only to find it was not going to be tall enough to handle my furniture. I left the store at 11:00 a.m. and called 801-266-3612 to find out what my options are to get the trailer now 2 hours later than I expected. I was informed that there were no trailers available. At this point I am requesting a refund of the $40.63 for the trailer I never used along with the $50.00 credit for not having my reservation as expected. The manager and staff was excellent. They helped with my light wiring harness and changed some blown fuses for me . Everyone here did a very good service.
