Hire more staff. One person handling everything is inefficient and not good advertising. This happened at pick up and delivery locations. Also, my first appointment in Garden City, Ga did not have the 10' truck and only one person working. Although he was nice, he did not handle the situation well. National found a truck at a different location. The staff person said that she "had checked it over, herself". When, I checked, the tires were low in air, which took another 30 minutes delay. The cargo van I used was a very new one but the gas needle is sticking. When you fill it up it stays on empty with warning for 30 min to an hour before it goes to full. Not good when you pressed for time.Melvin H.

Drove almost 5 hours to drop off truck and unload 26' foot truck in a storage unit that I had made reservations for almost a month. During check in, comments were made that they hate it when another location reserves storage units. After several minutes I was given a storage unit only to find that there was a lock on it. Went back inside to enquire and was then told that the unit was occupied and that there was no other units available. Tired and frustrated I asked what my options were... no advice was given. New to town. Don't know anyone. Had 5 friends assist me with the move with me. I had to call around to locate another facility to store my belongings with only 30 minutes before they closed. Again, new to town and literally know no one or where anything is. I spent over 175 to store my belongings that was supposed to be part of my agreement with uhaul. Completely dissatisfied with this should be smooth transition. I am needing one of two things to happen. 1, a full refund for my truck rental. Or 2, reimbursement for the storage unit that I ended up coming out of pocket for. In either case, I don't know that I will ever utilize your services again, but would have more respect for your company with some sort of compensation. I returned my vehicle within the same day using the drop-off procedures and haul.com-return my truck feature. My destination was 18 miles from the pickup center. Somehow, I was charged extra for an additional day outside the contract and for going over the 30 miles allowance! Bad bad business! We called the office after seeing the additional charges and haven't heard back as of yet. Very disappointing experience. My husband worked hard to have that truck clean and returned responsibly as expected and to be overcharged and ignored after relocation is upsetting.Duane C.

First, your website said you could manage where to pickup your rental. Not true! At first I was told I could pickup the rental at a location close to my home only to later be told I would have to pick it up at a different location further away. Second, your website said to register online to save time at the pickup. Fine if you have more than one employee checking customers in, you didn't despite numerous employees walking around on their phones. Third, deal with the customer no someone wanting to see if their friend is working. Fourth, have someone at your return lane by the sign that says â€œstay with your equipment. I had a reservation for my storage unit as well as drop off location for the truck rental, I called to confirm my order by calling gouhaul.com and was setup with a 1 bedroom unit when I clearly requested a unit for a 2 bedroom home with living room furniture and appliances , I was also told that I couldn’t use the location as my drop off location, only for my storage unit.when the location is in fact a drop off spot. The employees want to do a good job. But, I rented a space that I never was able to use because their was another vehicle parked in that space. I always had to park in a space other than the one I rented. The code to raise the gate seldom worked. Infact most of the time the gate was just left open during business hours because it didn't work. When I went inside to get help there was always a long wait to get any help so I usually just gave up and left. You have a nice facility. You have good employees that want to do a good job.
