Was charged for storage incorrectly. Look at every bill and verify the correct billing. Uhual needs one bill for everything hualing, storage and delivery. As it is right now you have multiple bills that have to be looked at separately. This makes understanding the full cost hsrd to see.Garth R.

Very smooth transaction and great customer service. Only two negatives: 1) trucks are parked so close to each other. If you are not aware and began to turn as you drive off, you would scrape the truck next to you. I would be very interested in seeing how many times this has happened. 2) there is plenty of space for renters to park their vehicles without using the street. Store was understaffed. Gentlemen at the counter was a â€œdrop it near the propane tank and I'll be there in 5 minutesâ€ guy. So I had found a parking spot out-of-the-way near the propane tank, and waited to have him come out and unhook the trailer like they do. I Came back inside to let him know I found a spot for the trailer . I was told that â€œI could've left it where I had itâ€ (in the middle of the drive). I did have some a place to be, so had asked if I could just unhook the trailer ( he still had another 5 minutes) and we both just agreed to drop the trailer and I leftBrandon W.

I was so glad I used a credit card instead of my bank debit card because they charged my card 4 different times in various amounts. As they changed what the fees were as I managed to get charges removed, they would charge the card the new amount. If I used my debit card with my bank card or a credit card with a lower credit limit, I'd be overdrawn. The staff at this location were doing their best and I don't blame them as I can see it's a systematic issue with not enough staff to cater to the volume of customers coming in. Glad I don't move very often because that was stressful. The truck had no cruise control so my foot was tired from driving it and the engine acts like it is tired too. The man who checked me in for the trailer, couldn't find my reservation. When it came to putting the trailer on our hitch, he refused to touch the hitch when it was the wrong ball (just needed to be turned over). Just not very friendly or welcoming.Emily C.

A storage unit by phone and was given a different address. I drove there to check in and unload. When i arrived, I see what looks like an office with glass windows, I was concerned about going in because there was a man camped out in front of the door who appeared to be on drugs. I left my valuables in the car and quickly proceeded to the office. This address is 201 S.West Ave Sioux Falls 57104. Once inside, There is no one there, no office. Just a Kiosk that tells you, you need to check in online and have renatl insurance paperwork. Clearly too much hassel for a storage unit, but, most alarming was the desolate building with no personnel! I drove to the U Haul right around the corner and explained to Tyler, why I was so upset, He was very kind,understanding and professional. He took care of me by offering me a unit on site, the original address I first called. I appreciate the remedy but think Management needs to inform their employees to disclose the unmanned conditions of the property and to direct woman and the elderly to the manned site if available.SUSAN L. | First Impressions

While most of the staff at this U-Haul location were friendly and helpful, corporate U-Haul is doing them a huge disservice. First of all, the design of the new storage units attached to the main building creates a situation where the entry to my storage unit is blocked with return U-Haul trucks every time I try to access it. Beyond that this U-Haul location is understaffed. So there is no one to help move the trucks out of the way. In addition, I first rented my unit online via the U-Haul website and when I showed up they did not have a unit of my size available. I understand this to be a corporate U-Haul issue and not a local problem. It seems corporate is creating issues and leaving it to the local U-Haul to solve it. I made a move across the country with 4 kids by myself... It was a Very very VERY loooong drive :/ I was offered a one month storage unit free of charge and when I arrived to turn in the trailer and unload our stuff.. I found out there was only an upstairs unit available at the drop off location I had picked 😳😳😱 ...I was totally overwhelmed at the thought of hauling everything we own up the stairs on my own and already exhausted from the long drive with wild kids 😩🥴 the lady that was helping us went out of her way to arrange a unit at a different location to accommodate and I am beyond grateful!! I almost cried the happy tears!!! Grateful, impressed, and sooo relived <3 I missed this kind of interaction that comes with living in the Midwest and it was a really great first experience with being back home. I had a ton of interactions with the staff at this location and only had two good experiences. The worst was when I had previously had a late payment. There was a UHaul lock on my storage unit, which I fully understand, but it wasn't taken off even weeks after I caught up the payment. An employee came up with me, told me he would go look for the key, and left me sitting there without returning for over a half hour. I left, and when I returned a couple of weeks after that, the lock was still there despite payments being all caught up. Completely unprofessional and wrong that someone pays for 30 days with no other option and moves out early, maybe due to a change in circumstance and they don't get reimbursed for any of the amount they were required to pay but didnt use. My initial phone conversations were very helpful but when I got confirmations on everyting the size of my unit was wrong. I called 2X and when I got there it was still not correct.
