Yes, the 24/7 return sucked! Your system would not allow me to complete the process to return the trailer. The sad part about it I was watching another customer return a trailer with no issues. The first van we got a few weeks ago was filthy in the back and the van that we got on 8/13/2022 was filthy and full of roaches. I went to open the passenger door about about 15 roaches started moving around and it van was full of leaves/debris. I did go back into the store and spoke with the General Manager who checked me in and she had a gentleman to come out and he only partially cleaned the inside of the van, wiping with vehicle down with a dirty rag, for we could see him from afar. Upon returning to the van to leave, there was still roaches in the passenger door and the back was still filthy. My husband was just aggravated more so, we just stopped and bought a can of bug spray and let it sit for about an hour and then we swept the back out ourselves and then we went to pick up the washer machine. This is not acceptable. I know that the company is busy, but the team has to take the time to clean the vehicles. Would one want to move their personal items in those filthy vehicles? Then whoever used the van and brought it back full of roaches, should have been charged some type of convenience fee? That truck should have been sprayed for bugs. Who wants bug? I know I don't. Would you put your personal items in a van full of roaches, after seeing the roaches moving around in the van? I don't think so! As professionals, we should pass along the same level of exceptional customer service that one would want to receive! In this world there is really no room for errors, as such. We are in a competitive market, where everything counts!!! Now by chance if it was a true mishap, one timeâ€¦- An apology would have been gracefully accepted, but this was the 2nd vehicle that my family rented, so this makes me think this is a normal practice, now this is not an apologetic manner, but a mastered pattern and/or a learned behavior of not carrying out the full duties of the job, which is not acceptable. One may want to add another platform to take pictures of the inside of the vehicles, for I did the take pictures, in which I am unable to upload, but I do respectfully and wholeheartedly take matters of such very serious. Would I rent again? I don't knowâ€¦Probably soâ€¦probably not!!! But regardless of the location or the service being provided/rendered I am always going to double check the vehicles, before leaving the premises. Customer's should be explained the importance of following the link to verify the fuel gauge before leaving the site. They should not have to experience upon returning what they were suppose to do, as I was told. It's not the customer job to know the new procedures at your company! The instruction said to stay with the vehicle during business hours until an attendant comes to you. They could've simply told me upon arrival to check myself out through the website. I received a car trailer and the electrical did not work. I drove from Atlanta to Detroit using my flasher on my vehicle. When I arrived to Detroit I could not remove my vehicle from the trailer because my battery on my vehicle was dead and I had to wait 3 hours before I could remove my vehicle. I got stopped by the police while in route to return the U-Haul van, due to not having any taillights, which scare me senseless with all those bright police lights. The officer was very kind and patient in trying to assist to see why the taillights lights were intermittently turning on and off. I do feel the van could have been a little cleaner in the back! Customer Service was great here. They took the time to assist and answer all questions. A ipad for customers is needed at this location. I had issues in uploading my driver's license and an employee, Manny was called in to assist...great employee and should be promoted doing multiple tasks and duties at this location. Areas of improvement, the U-Haul truck needed to be vaccuumed in the front, there was a cracked windshield and a tire pressure warning for air with the amber sensor light on. The right front passenger side needed air or sensor needed fixing. Checkout was a smooth and easy process upon returning the uhaul. I will definitely use this location again due to great Customer Service. They perform above average, compared to other U-Haul locations.KAYECY J.

If you would truly like to improve, please have a manager reach out to me to discuss my experience. I was embarrassed to ride in this vehicle especially after the first vehicle they gave me, the air did not work. And trying to resolve this, your staff was very cold, uncaring, and the female person/manager was rude. The vehicle smelled like vomit. Really really bad, to the point where my wife with no longer ride in the vehicle. Your staff just parked it, and obviously no one cleans these units. The system in the back, that has the zip ties for the carrier/and hand truck and the mattress pads gets in the way of space you could be using and your only choice is to remove them if you need that space and pay for items you don't want. The unit was not aligned and the steering wheel it was literally 40Â° off-center, gas was less than half a tank and I am sorry to say, that I could not recommend U-Haul to anyone. I know you won't reach out but if you do that would be a start and rebuilding the relationship with me personally . Thank you for reading this. If you are an owner or a manager with U-Haul, I promise you if you sat in this unit that I had today, you would to be embarrassed. Especially because you work for U-Haul.George C.

The 2 African American guys (Rastafarian and the older guy) are literally the worst. They are very unprofessional and rude. First I waited in the store for about 10 minutes before the Rastafarian guy came to the front to assist me then I was given a truck where the key would not open the driver side door, then upon starting the truck I received a prompt alerting me of faulty wheels/tire. I immediately went back inside to request a change and was told by the older african American guy that I should take the truck anyway because the truck is fine it's only a sensor issue. When I refused to do what I was told and requested a new truck the older guy fussed me out stating that I'm going to have an issue with whatever truck I get anyway and as a result they both had me wait for another 10 minutes before putting me into another truck. Upon my return the branch was closed and I had to wait 30 to get in touch with customer service because the miles in the truck did not match the one on the paper I was given. Thanks to the CSR who helped me and made me aware that due to mistake of the office staff I won't be able to check the truck in. She had to help me. Totally wasted my time. I will NOT go back to this store as I've had one too many issues with these guys.TESSICA P.

I was charged an additional fee after moving out and the store manager refused to give me a refund. I had to escalate the issue to the higher ups and call multiple times over the span of two weeks before getting a refund. The staff was rude and unhelpful. The UHaul had no air conditioning. Given that this is Georgia in July it made for a miserable experience. We tried to call right after leaving with the vehicle to exchange it with no answer. Add to that we had paid hourly helpers waiting at my house and the self check in took 40 mins to get done because we were waiting for someone to call to verify my contacts. We were charged $25 cleaning fee without giving us the chance to recite whatever situation they supposedly saw. We used the 7 in truck to load some landscaping supplies and should not have been charged. I'm not sure if I would recommend this location. When checking out the truck , I specifically asked if I needed to purchase pads or anything to help me move a table I needed to pick up. I was told no, the size truck your getting all that is included in the truck. We get to the pickup location and get the furniture outside open the back of the truck and nothing absolutely nothing was in the back out the truck.. NOTHING WAS THERE but a piece of cardboard. We had nothing on us because we weee told it came with the truck. We used the piece of cardboard but of course during the ride it shifted and mt table got stretched up. Trucks should be inspected before renting them out. I know from now on to look but you should be able to take your sales person at their word, that's what having trust in a company is. AND we put the gas back in the truck and was still charged a service charge. My bill was $60 for having the truck for less then an hour. That's not what my Receipt said when I left. I moved at night and the cargo dome light didn't work. It made life very difficult. Also, the site was unclear and I was under the impression I'd have 24 hour access to my storage unit and that was not the case. Very disappointed by this as I was still loading things into the unit when I was locked out. The truck share return process was confusing as well, the website had a photo of an orange key return box so after 15 minutes of looking for an orange box I saw the hole in the door. Also the one working light in front of the store kept flickering. I had hoped to have an easy move but the biggest issues were with loading into the unit. The doors are also bent and I had to pry the door open and it slammed into my foot and, in doing so, cut my toe. The whole process is very convoluted.Michael B. | Online Move In

Most disappointed that with a truck rental, I was only offered one-month's free storage for a 5 x 5 unit. My rental office in Springfield, IL said that I could expect a free rental for any size unit. I called the Snellville location on 1/10 and talked with an agent at a remote location. I reserved a 10 x 10 unit. We tried calling multiple times over two days, waited for 10-15 minutes each time and never got an answer. We finally reserved our unit online. Instead of a 10x10 that I reserved I was given two separate 5x5 that a matter was doesn’t fit in. When I tried to handle the situation the employee went and helped other customers and never returned to help us solve the issue. We were given two 5X5 spaces as there were no 10x10’s available when we turned in our truck. We were told we could consolidate both units into one and at that time would only pay for one unit the following month. However when we informed the employee we wanted to pay for the following month for the one unit we were told by the employee and his manager that we could not do that and would have to either move to another unit or pay for both. We were given two different prices and No One, including the manager even bothered to apologize for the misinformation their employee gave to us. My reservation couldn't be found on the computer until I showed the reservation I had on my phone. The young man was truly helpful but as I heard him talking to his manager to help him with working the system the manager was rude. When he asked if I can get the free month she adamantly said no and I still had to pay extra for the additional storage. With all the aggravation the least the manager for this location could have done was work with us better to help instead of sounding irritated with her employee for contacting her and not honoring the first month free promotion online. I wasn't able to physically be at the storage unit the 1st week I purchased it. And employee told me that they would lock the unit and have the key at the front office when. I came in to get the key to load up the storage unit and waiting in line for an hour. Once I got to speak to an employee, they told me that they couldn't get the key that was supposed to be at the front desk for me, I had to wait for the other employee, who was currently practicing horrible social distancing skills by using customers cell phone to get information about booking a storage unit. Instead of just giving me the key, they told me that I'd have to wait longer than the hour that I already waiting, for a key I already paid for, that was supposed to just be at the front office. I left. I had other pressing matters to handle on top of dropping off all my clothes to the storage unit I already paid for. This has completely altered my moving processes.
