Expensive as f***, a waste of money, and a scam. All UHAUL does is capitalize on the fact that you HAVE to use a big truck to move furniture and then charge you out the a**. $3000 for 1 week and 2 days worth of moving and that's without mileage or gas. Over $600 for their insurance which you HAVE to have in major cities.Olivia G.

The team there where super customer oriented and helpful and welcoming! But again even though I requested and reserved online no furniture pads or dollies where available from yet another location? It was a quick â€œwe don't have anyâ€ from other associates so appears to be a common issue. Unfortunate that I again moving another one of my daughters with distance between truck and unit with again no dolly! Why offer this if they are so frequently not available? I have moved my daughters to and from college numerous times with more in the future, I guess I need to go buy a dolly from Home Depot to ensure this doesn't happen again.. that is my only complaintClinton V.

I was told that once my belongings arrived in Jacksonville they would be delivered to my address. I was told by the Jacksonville U-Haul that I needed to pay an additional $1100 to have them delivered to me. I used U-Haul for my move because I have had only good experiences over the years. This time I was promised one thing at the beginning of the move and EXTORTED at the end of the trip by the Jacksonville office. I would never recommend someone use your company to move long distance. I had to pay this amount or I would not have gotten my belongings. It leaves the customer with no choice but to be robbed by your company. Shame on you.JACQUELINE R.

Customer rep doesn't have much information about the size of truck bed. The answer I got was "I don't know, do you want to check it with measuring tape". More over she was on a phone using blue tooth while submitting my information. Also, I have concerns with UHaul policy of letting employees upload the driver's license using the employees personal phone. I wasn't sure if the employee is sending my information to her friend or uploading to UHaul website. I am not sure if my information can be abused in future. I reserved a pickup truck at 530. It never showed up until later after my time do they have me a 15' for same price but I definitely didn't need that because I had one dresser. So the loading and unloading was annoying plus it doesn't go as fast driving and we were on a time crunch. However the guy that took care of us was really good.Amanda S.

The unit itself was fine the grounds were fine the lighting could’ve been much better especially because of the area that the storage facility is in. After dark there’s a lot of commotion in the surrounding area and that really should be a paid attention to as far as Security goes and feeling comfortable being there after dark. The biggest thing that stands out and the reason that I will continue to use U-Haul storage or just U-Haul in general is the staff at that location. They were amazing. They were friendly and fun but always professional. They remembered me and waved hello when I would come in this alone made me feel like a part of the group. I felt a sense of ownership even though I was just renting. As strange as this may sound I actually felt good about going to or leaving my storage unit. Everyone was helpful from the front desk staff to some of the guys in the shop. I even left the door open to my unit one day when I was in such a hurry and wasn’t thinking. They called me right away and were so kind to take care of it until I could get there just to make sure my things were secure. The sign on the return says â€œwait with your equipmentâ€. Except nobody comes to help you. I disconnected the trailer myself and went inside. 40 minutes later I got some help. It was chaos inside. Employees not knowing what they had to rent. Nobody outside to return the trailer to. It was horrible. There is a saying â€œcontrolled chaosâ€. This was just chaos. When I rent equipment again if u haul tells me I have to use that location I will use another vendorMARK C.

This was honestly the best experience I've ever had with Uhaul. I had a very complicated move that involved multiple stops and I was so impressed with how easy Uhaul made it for me to find moving help at every stop point, most of which were available for same day bookings. That's unheard of and I was sooooo impressed. All the moving help was great and I was even able to store at Uhaul storage facility for cheaper than all the competitors. So much excellent all in one moving service. I will likely never use another service other than Uhaul again, the experience was too good!Bernard B.

The location was clean, the vehicle was clean and the manager was awesome, but we informed them that the check engine light was on and they told us it was fine and to go ahead and take the truck. We did and then discovered that the a/c didn't work at all. We called to inform them and they said they had no other 26' trucks available. It was not noted in the system that we notified them of either of these things and therefore when we dropped it off they had no record of our concerns. We'd appreciate a refund for at least part of our rental due to being sold equipment that wasn't prepared to make it most comfortable for us, the renters.Lori B.

Relies heavily on the customer having a functional smart phone with internet access, even to confirm the quality of the vehicle at rental start. If you're at an actual U-Haul office the staff should be confirming this with you visually and non-digitally if requested.Alan F.

It wasn't as much the equipment as it was the customer service and the people that work at that location. The crew that worked the day before Thanksgiving and on Thanksgiving day is who I am talking about. Not only were they professional and courteous and extra helpful they were also fun and happy and made me happy when I left there it was just weird being in that kind of mood after leaving a U-Haul rental place. I can't say that that's ever happened but this team has got it. I am also renting a storage space from there so I go in just to say hello when I'm at my unit. They really are fantasticDIADRE B.

My unit was infested with roaches and spiders and everyone there failed to do anything about it. When I filed and insurance claim they told them the units have pest control which is impossible.
