I have usually rented with University & Phillips Hwy location because they are a larger location and usually have adequate inventory. The gentleman who helped me on Saturday held me up unecessarily for 45+ minutes. I was there by 8AM and was 2nd in line. When he realized I needed a reservation, he logged into a 2nd computer and also started a call with reservations. He didn't complete my request, he started moving on to next person. That's when I used my smart phone to make a reservation. During the lengthy process, he made a slight attempt to ask me a question or two, then helped another customer, then disappeared to back for 5+ minutes. By the time he resurfaced, I had a Conf # for him for Order I placed online. He told me to back up to a unit on side of building, and he'd be right out. Then he started helping another person. After 5 min I went back inside, and he finished helping someone, and disappeared to back again. When he came out, I stated I was ready. When he started approaching me, I noticed the trailer I was fixing connect had a bald tire. When I told him I was going to back up to a different trailer, he walked to help another party with a truck. 5+ minutes later (after he went to a personal vehicle), he was walking back inside and I called him over to hook up trailer. Then he advised me to pull over to side out of way. When I did, and returned to complete checkout, he had already started helping another customer and I had to wait for him to help them inside, go outside to finish with them, and wait for him to come back in to complete my rental. This was my worst experience ever with Uhaul, and it cost me time, aggravation, and additional money since the $48 open trailer I needed was sold out. I had to pay $64 for enclosed. I plan on posting review on yelp, yp, google, and Facebook. I hope the University location starts employing more agents (who are trained to multitask appropriately)

WAITED ALMOST ONE HOUR JSUYT TO PICK UP A CARGO TRAILER. HAD A PRE DETERMINDED TIME OF PICK UP. SEVERAL CUSTOMERS CAME IN AND WERE TAKEN CARE OF BUY JUMPING AHEAD OF LINE AND THAT WAS NOT ADDRESSED BY STAFF. STAFF WAS HOWEVER OVERWORKED AND UNDERSTAFFED AT THIS LOCATION.

Overall my u-haul experience was a challenge. I called to set up a reservation for a pick up a moving truck. When I went to pick up the truck, there was no one there. I called the main line and was told that they were on their way and would be there soon. I waited another 15 minutes before calling again where I was told I would need to reschedule. I got transferred to scheduling and they set me up with a moving truck at a different location an hour later. I had no problems when I arrived at this location and was able to get the truck but they process before wasted about half of my day that I had intended to move so I ended up having to move all of my stuff later in the rain.

When customers use cash to pay for service...copies of vehicle registration should always be made not take the original from car owner and keep it until rentals are returned, It is against the law to drive around without vehicle registration. Please take this in consideration...Thank you Randy

Location is hard to get in and harder to get out but the customer service makes the effort worth it. Friendly, hard working and helpful staff not to mention, a free box bin! A good place to take care of your moving and storage needs.

The store and final service were excellent. I had a problem with the initial read out of the contract. I understood there to be a quarter tank of gas in the truck. I did not check the gas before I pulled out as it is a rental and probably ought to have gas in the tank before you leave the lot, That was not the case here. It was out of gas. I got on the interstate and ran out of gas exactly 11 miles from the uhaul store. I managed on my own to get gas into the truck. That left a terribly bad taste in my mouth and I was extremely mad for the next four hours until I returned the truck. The manager of the store reluctantly reimbursed me $40 of the $65 dollars of gas that I showed him receipts four over the course of the 4 hour local rental. In my mind the manager at the uhaul made the situation as right as he could.

U haul associate customer service was unacceptable. I could see he was frustrated but I was not the cause of his flustrstion. He had an attitude when he spoke to me. This was my first time ever renting from U Haul and it was an unpleasant experience for me to deal with the associates at this location. I would not recommend this location.
