Justin was very helpful with check out even though he wasn't feeling well, he displayed excellent customer service. Shay was friendly and cheerful during the return process despite having dealt with a not so pleasant customer previously. She did not let that interfere with the rest of her day.

Absolutely nothing! Justin was such a pleasant and professional guy. He greeted us warmly, answered all our questions and made our time at the counter very positive. If we should need to rent a truck in this area again this is the place we will definitely go. I will also be letting my friends, relatives and anyone who needs a truck rental know to come here. Thanks to Justin. You were GREAT!!!!

I have to say I would not rent a truck twice but the a t the east 71st store brought me back . I rented on Monday the 2nd and did not finish so I came back on the 4th. Enlightening to know customer service is done well.

The wait in line to be helped is ridiculously long as there is never multiple lines open to serve the customers in a timely manner.

Fix the 24/7 Truck share process. It took 4 hrs for me to get a truck! I thought it was reserved but then I had no code to get key. Waited on hold for 30 min. For them to send me to another location 30 minutes away! I get there and the lock doesn't work for me to get the key! Luckily the woman at 71st S shore uhaul (it wasn't even open yet) happened to see me struggling and went in the garage and got me a van adjusting my reservation.

I came to this location and reserved to pick up a truck at 9:30am, I got there on time and there was only 1 person working the register and one person moving the trucks. I waited over 30 min in line just to pick up my truck. I didn't leave this l location until after 10 am. This was a major inconvenience for me as I planned to pick up the truck at 9:30am as I had to move out my personal things at a certain time. I was delayed due to this location and the workers. It would be helpful if you all provide more than 3 people to work in the morning in order to check people in and out. The line was almost out the door last Saturday. You know Saturdays is the busiest day and it's the last day of the month.

I was a little overwhelmed with the moving process and the gentleman that took care of orders was very helpful, kind and patient. I needed that experience. Please if possible look up my order and store reset 71st chgo, il. It was a pleasure doing business at that location and with that gentleman. KUDOS!!!

The wait at this location was absolutely unacceptable! From the time I walked through the door, it took me *over one full hour* to get access to my UBox. The line stretched from the counter to the door, yet the staff didn't do anything to try to assure us or try to get things done faster. Once helped, the staff was friendly enough and I got done what I needed to get done, but again, the wait time was mind-blowing!

Customer service is SLOW and inattentive. I I happened to lose my phone overnight in a UHaul truck. I called and explained the situation to a rep over the phone and was told that she would relay the message to the employees. Mind you this was a little bit before they opened. I happened to call AGAIN after they opened to INSURE that I was going to come to the station and pick up my phone/check the truck. I get to the station and it wasn’t that busy. I let one of the guys on a computer know about the situation and with no urgency at all , he told me to wait in line. The kicker is that it turns out , my phone wasn’t even in the station anymore . They already rented the damn vehicle out so I had to track the phone myself and drive even further to find the customer with the truck I used. Worst experience ever. Will not spend a dime with U-Haul again.

Roaches. The units are infested with cockroaches. Every time I accessed my storage I saw them crawling around in my unit and on my things. Disgusting. Friendly staff though.

The staff here is helpful. They just didn't have accurate inventory online so I had to get furniture dollies at the south loop location / they held my trailer overnight so it wouldn't sit at my place.

If there was 24/7 access then it would rate above average or better. The last U-Haul facility I used provided that service. It was located on 22nd St. west of Canal.

Staff was unable to find my ubox, states my name was attached to an empty box not the one I moved my things into. Staff was rude when returning the uhaul truck. Customer service was not the best

The facility air conditioning was broken on the day we arrived. At our starting location, receipts weren't offered but once in Chicago, Justin Slay, the manager, was very accommodating and friendly.

The staff was great. They are never rushed, and always courteous to everyone who's in the office. The main website is bad -- my storage contract didn't show up on my account, so I was unable to pay.

I can't complain about the service. Everyone was helpful. One worker used very vulgar language. Even though she was off the clock, she had her uniform coat on & ID displayed. Still representing UHaul.
