Too long a wait to get serviced. Once I got to the desk, the staff was very friendly and helpful. On check in, the representative was grumpy and tried to nickel and dime me for a fraction on a gallon of gas. I only put on 10 miles and showed him a receipt for $7.00 of gas. This location called me hours after dropping off the truck and accused me of not leaving the keys when I put the keys in the drop box as instructed. They then checked the drop box while I was on the phone and found the keys in the drop box.Lindsey M.

Then the manager booked me a van at a location that said it was open but there were no people, no lights on, no one answering the phone, nothing. I want my $50 for UHaul not meeting the guarantee. I have rent trucks there in the past. My only complaint is with the drop off after hours. The website gives your instructions how to drop off the truck , however; the website only works for androids phone and not IPhones. I spent and hour and a half in the rain waiting for someone to pick up the phone then got disconnected. Went home and tried again, wait another hour and went someone finally answer, I was asked if I was still at the location.YVETTE W.

Make sure the customer service person has the correct gas and mileage of the vehicle I didn't check the mileage and was charged for 150 that I didn't drive I have never put 150 miles on a vehicle since I've been renting from uhaul i drove downtown chicago and back witch was only 11 miles one way, So to say that I will not recommend or use Uhaul every again.Ricky F.

Every time I go to this location the personnel are charming, friendly and helpful. The trucks I've rented have never given me any problems and are kept up. The only thing is that there is always so many people and waiting time is a bit long. But overall very excellent.ROSA P.

I reserved a 26â€ truck a few days in advance. When I arrived I was told that the truck that I reserved was not available. So I asked if there was another size available. I was told there was NOT. However I could receive a call when something becomes available around noontime. I was told that I would have a fifty dollar credit due to the truck not being available. I made a reservation for the next day. The truck was available upon my arrival on that day however the lady at the desk stated that she had no clue about me being credited the fifty dollars for my previous reservation not being available. She wasn't really interested in helping me figure things out! I returned the rental truck at approx 5:30pm. I was told by a male employee to take the keys and put them in the drop box outside. I received my bill and notice they charged me twenty dollars for a after hours fee. I'm very outraged by this due to the fact that the truck was returned before the time that I agreed upon(6pm). Due to the employee being lazy and not wanting to deal with me at the desk I have to pay out twenty extra dollars. This is very bad business.Lori S.

Just hope that next time the fuel wouldn't be empty, because I was told it had 1/4 tank of gas but it was empty, and yes, I took a picture, but didn't submit because it was returned after hours and i didn't know how to present it, but i did tell one of the representatives when I first got the truck, I just had a time frame.ZOE M.

The Truck Return App Dose not work Correctly I always have to call the 1800 number to complete my truck Return. And I have Been Over Charged twice in the last 2 months. I was refunded the Money but it's very Irritating to have to keep call the 1800 or the 1877 number to have someone Make Correction. Make it easier to return the trucks I did my drop off and left my phone at home when I brought the truck back , glad the same person was there that I got the truck with when I brought it back I told him my situation and he said just put the key in the box he remembered me, but still needs an easier way to return trucks not doing it by phone I think.RALPH R.

It is too dangerous for Late night cabin pictures for online truck return. The lot is Not well lit and not secured for you to request the customer to put their life in danger standing outside of the vehicle to take cabin pictures.LISA J.

I was pleasantly and QUIITE surprised about the great customer service! I visited the location once before move-in. The all staff members that I interacted with both prior to and during my move-in were fantastic and graciously answered all my questions and showed me around. Again, I'm impressed, because being born and raised down south, I'm just not used to getting good customer service in Chicago (in general), so the experience was quite a welcomed surprise.
