Fix the dents! You're charging the customers for insurance and deductibles but your vans look like they've got the mumps! You're not fixing your products, even if you have to fix then twice a month. It almost like you're running an insurance scam! Collecting the insurance money but not fixing the product.

I was ignored for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. The didn’t Load the equipment I rented. After I left I discovered the dolly wasn’t on the truck, the agent said he would take it off the rental ticket and he didn’t. Fortunately the agent at the drop off location said he would help by contacting the pick up location and not charge me for not having it

Very disappointed in U-Haul this location is extremely busy and requires additional employees to serve customers. Waiting in line longer than 15 minutes is unacceptable. Please hire enough customer service people. This location is old please modernize and make this a modern site for customer service, equipment and storage units. This location storage units are deplorable. Please get rid of trucks that you call storage ridiculous. The manager for this location needs more staff to balance the work load and provide the best in customer service. Manager was very helpful in resolving a customer's problem. However, do to out dated messages at U Haul and location always busy he didn't response to my concerns. Please improve this location out with old an in with the new. A storage unit shouldn't be an old U-Haul truck...discussing.

There was only 2 people working and there was a LONG line. We stood in Line for 45 minutes! I did not choose this location, I was forced to go there AND then on top of that the truck wasn’t even there for pick up and we had to wait on the truck to arrive when I had paid a moving crew who was waiting in the truck to get there! I was out $100 because of U-haul

I was charged twice the original quote. I disputed this and was told an agent would ring me in the morning but no one did. I called again and was told someone from the office would call me. Still to no avail. I was charged $141 instead of $83. I returned the truck in the same day and don’t understand why I should be charged for 2 days.

Had a pick up time of 730 am.....didn’t leave the location till 830 due to only two employees working. Being Saturdays are generally the busiest one would think you would have more staff working. There were at least 8-9 people in line waiting.....well over 40 minutes. Lastly, I had 4 hours of reservation time which was deducted from my time. During my move I recieved a phone call asking where the truck was. Not only was this an issue, but frustrating. Jack was very nice during my rental return, ensured me that I would not be charged extra for the rental. Needless to say, I won’t be back to rent from this location.

Mr. Slay , Ms. Denise & team, were very professional & courteous. This is my 2nd time needing their services & will use them again.



The initial checkout service was excellent, the gentleman was very professional. The return service was extremely poor. When I entered the building, nobody was at the desk until after about 10 minutes. When the young lady came to the desk she did not acknowledge my presence as I stood in front of her waiting about 10 minutes to be asked or told something! She was having a personal conversation with another employee next to her. Eventually a gentleman came and relieved her and processed the vehicles return. I will make a conscious effort to let my friends know to avoid this locations poor service! Thank you.

Despite the fact that I made a reservation, the clerk there was unable to get authorized to rent the reserved pick up truck for me. I could get it somehow after cancelling the original reservation and making multiple attempts, but it was after I spend too much time while making my friends wait meaninglessly; they spared their day time to help to come with me to UHaul so I had to feel extremely sorry for them. I hope such thing never happens again.

One of the oldest locations in Chicago. The building is in need of some serious upgrades, and some attention to details, specifically the history behind this stores location. You would be surprised how much this would be appreciated.
