I had a great experience. Eric was super helpful and understanding when I had to keep the truck longer than I planned. He explained my bill to me in detail to ensure I understood it and overall provided great customer service. I will use this location when my new place is ready to move into.

I hate to complain, but the truck was disgusting. Filthy and in no way sanitized from the last person that used it. I will check other options next time I need a truck.

I paid for a storage unit, when i arrived to uhaul to put my belonging i was given a unit that belong to someone else, they where closed.. The manager Justin was called he was very RUDE! hung up in me and my daughter face. I had to get a storage some where else! Anyone looking for a storage this is not the place to go!!!
The internet connection for the mobile pickup in the area is terrible. I asked an employee for help and he wouldn't help me. He told me he couldn't and I would have to call the 1800 #. I called the 1800 # and waited almost 30 minutes no one answered. Finally the manager saw me in distress because I was late getting my truck and had movers at my house. He had to change me to a walk-in. So I didn't receive my truck until a half hour after pickup time. Only to have multiple charges on my account. I had to get a different truck than I reserved online. I was very upset and will never do it again. Luckily the manager finally helped me or I would have canceled service all together. Was charged full price and I think I deserve a discount. Good luck running your business this way.
Customer service among the store agents are pretty bad and rude. Impolite and lack of good manners. Also store agents are not wearing masks and showed less concern that hey might be carriers of the virus. Bad services overall.
The questions don't apply to my experience, and here is how: 1. The personnel were first rate. 2. The facility was the largest in the area. That gets it high praise. 3. The equipment, on the other hand, I'm sorry, Sucked, and here is how: I rented a 10 foot box van. Not withstanding the electrical dashboard, low tire-pressure glitch, the U-Haul safety mirrors are a catastrophe waiting to happen. This company trades off safety for profits. The mirrors installed are the fixed-variable position type, with no room for a more precise adjustment in the name of public safety. Think of me coming down the highway in my 40-ton semi next to your family, and Not be able to see you driving alongside my blind spot as I attempt a right lane change into you. 39 years of over-the-road experience is more than I care to know how many times this scenario has come to pass.
I tried to go into the store for assistance. It was 7 on the dot and no one would help us because they closed exactly at 7. We could not receive assistance so even though I input that we were moving from Indianapolis to Paris, KY (almost 200 miles) it still assigned my truck as one way which I didn't feel was clearly communicated during the online booking process AT ALL. I attempted to call a manager so I could pay to drop it off at a location in my new state but was forced to drive the truck 3 hours back to Indianapolis and pay a lot of additional money for it and then drive all the way back to my home 3 hours away yet again in my own vehicle. I am beyond disappointed with your customer service and inability to work with or assist your customers. I have used Penske before and never had this issue when I input an out of state address that we are moving to so I will more than likely be using them instead of you at this point. I have NEVER seen a company so selfish and nonnegotiable about things. I work doing customer service for a company and I can assure you this is not how you maintain customers.
Have the vehicle present and ready or call prior to the pick up time in the future
When i returned the truck employee went off on me . Not very professional , never again using this place again.
Nothing.......... Service was outstanding. When you have professional staff members, perfection is a gift to the client.
The man behind the counter yelled across the store at us to tell us where to take the truck. We weren't even sure he was talking to us until we asked. When we were parking the truck he came out yelling “right here..right here!†He could have been more professional and cared about being polite to the customer more. I would only recommend the location based on past experiences with this location.
It was my first time ever renting a uhaul, didn't know what to do so when I return the van I went in and the guy that was there was very rude about where I parked the van and said I can't park it myself and was just absolutely rude mind you I didn't know what to do and I had a question about the additional charges and he was rude about how I got charge extra because “I went over mileage†and I extended it and “that's what happens when you go over mileage†just absolutely rude. He literally made me cry because of how rude he was. I will not be coming back to this one.
Only thing I could complain about is that the truck smelled like cigarettes when we picked it up.
Check out in by phone was difficult. At the part where "you find your truck", couldn't find, because it was already rented. Had to go inside and start all over. Delayed me 30 + minutes. Return was very good
Your team is not taking COVID 19 serious. Nobody was wearing a mask but me in the building. They did not make other customers put them on.
well, the only problem with the drop off was, the man said I would receive confirmation of my drop off in an Email, well this is all I got, is this a confirmation?
I was moving my son from another state I needed somewhere to store his washer and dryer. I didn’t get to the facility until after hours it took me 45 minutes to find my unit for me only to discover that I could not install a washer and dryer in it as it was an upper level Unit. I was unable to exchange unit for a more appropriate one so I ended up having to cancel my friend home find another place for my belongings and still had to pay for one month of rental when I never actually accessed it.
Customer service returning the vehicle was really poor. The two people inside were discussing how they could charge people if they brought there vehicle back late in front of me. I also had to go inside to get some one to take the vehicle from me. Then wait while they wanted to take hitched trailer because it was too cold. Their words not mine. This made me wait while everyone else had been in there after me left.
I researched rates from different locations then proceeded with the one that best met my needs. I booked the trailer online, received a confirmation, filled out the upfront online payment and driver's license information, got a confirmation and thought I was good to go. Then, twice I received emails that said I had to confirm my reservation or my rate MAY change. This is not good business.

I was a little torn between what size truck to use (secured a 10ft but the day of my move a 10ft and 20fter was available). I wish the person at the desk would have asked (been more personable) what I needed it for and help me make a better decision. I went with the smaller truck but ended up making 2 trips. Lesson learned, my time and energy is more important than trying to save money with a smaller truck.
The service person I worked with was very short and rude. I got what I needed but everyone was rude and the trailer was dirty. I cleaned it out before I used it and returned it clean.
The truck I rented had an overwhelming smell of cigar or pipe tobacco smoke- it was unbearable to even drive it. I had to drive with the window down to avoid getting a headache from the smell.
Truck condition was bad lot of vibration noise and too rugged my ears where literally going deaf although I have hired trucks from U-Haul and they were okay, but this one really bad and also charges are too high. Wish some one calls me to hear more. Keys were also hard to turn around to start it
The CSR that helped me was brash and very rude to me.
Pickup directions where unclear and equipment was very dirty and their was no gas.
Jayden was great at helping me. I arrived later than my pick up time and couldn't get my dashboard to let me do it myself. Jayden had me all set up and ready to go quickly and professionally.
Vehicle should be washed at least. As a courtesy reception people/front desk people should add 100 miles as a courtesy for long one way without charge. This location guys don't gave any.

Drop off was very late at night - did all that was required on-line. It was super easy, clear to follow and extremely convienient!
The condition of the van itself was very poor. The right front suspension was super bouncy, even when loaded. The brakes are almost shot and squeal when applied moderately. The charger port is shorted and burned out our phone charger. This equipment is very nearly life threatening at highway speeds and should be repaired or replaced immediately

To not charge their customers TWICE for their rental and deny ever doing it. The service there was good however the double charge was EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT.

We have used this location several times and no matter who is working, they are always very kind and helpful.
I could not find the key drop location. You have multiple signs to drop key here but no drop box. We had to take multiple pictures of the truck just to drop off.I called the phone number and was on phone for 25 minutes and 15 seconds before it was answered She tried to help but was not able to find key drop location. When we finally found it there was a little sign and small place to put key in. But in big letters under it it says do not block door. In total i spent almost 1 hour trying to give you back your keys. Why is this so difficult? Why so many signs on lot and telling me to put key here with no drop box. I guess my time and business is NOT appreciated.
If I ever need a storage unit again. I will use them again.

Dirty, poorly-maintained facility. Staff was unaccommodating and did not respond to emails. Had unit for nearly 4 years but was not allowed to change monthly due date so incurred many late fees.

Only problem I had was trying to contact Charles Short I have left several messages he NEVER return any. So I'm hoping I don't get a payment taking off my card
I receieved an e-mail that my UBox had arrived at the location & a follow up email that payment had been run. No one reached out to me to inform me. Once we showed up, we had issues accessing the box.

This is my first time using U-Haul for storage and I would never do it again I was treated very poorly brushed off at times constantly calling customer service for help and at one point disrespected.
Overall I good experience. My only complaint is the wait times. Most of the time that I would stop in the office there would only be one person working in the office with a line of customers waiting.
Chuck and the rest of his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When my lock froze, his staff got me in my unit within minutes. Would definitely recommend and/or use again if needed!

The sliding latches are a pain! 10 mins each time to try to slide it just right while stepping on the handle to try to line it up. Other customers had problems too they said. Dust from ceiling fell

I wouldn't recommend this facility because I paid cash for a payment and three days later they hit my debit card for the same amount without authorization and then said it could be 30 days to return.
Upon move out noticed mouse droppings on my stored items, it was pretty widespread

Facility and security good. Service was quite poor. Move the boxes for sale so that a line can form. Agents need to be eager to help. When 5+ ppl in line, no agent should be doing sales calls.

Employee’s abrasive and fast delivery of terms were hard to follow so I had to ask several questions. Door to unit is extremely hard to open and latch sticks and very hard to loosen.
