The truck we rented wasn't cleaned out, there was debris all over the floor including nails. We had to sweep the truck floor when we got back to our house. Expected the truck to be clean when we picked up.Colleen P.

Truck was dirty and had to pay 10$ just cause we used not even .3 gallons of gas and then had to pay over 23$ for going over 30 miles which I only estimated. I won't be going back.Kathleen D.
More transparency in rates and charges. I am currently showing FOUR separate charges on my credit card. Two of them I understand, as it was the initial charge and refund. But I am also showing two charges for the actual rental amount. I'm going to wait a few days and see if it corrects itself, but this is not something that someone moving needs to worry about.Brandy M.

For this area price comparison per unit cost is too high. Especially for supposedly climate control inside unit. Could see outside back wall, obvious rodent/vermin issues. I always use free month then move to more reasonably priced/competitively business Staff had to remove rubbish from unit. Staff was, for Parkersburg unit, fantastic per usual. Would have gave a better review but when I did the initial reservation I ordered a 15' to 17' truck instead I was given a 10' truck which made the move more tedious cause instead of doing 3 maybe 4 trips I had to do 8 trips in totalnoel C.

Walked in and the kid behind the counter said that they had 0 trucks. I went outside and reserved a truck on my phone, walked back in and he refreshed the page and suddenly they had multiple trucks available. It was pure and simple laziness by a kid who didn't want to do any work. And to top it off they had no dollies available. Except ones you had to buy from them.Jon G.

My pick up location was supposed to be in Vienna, WV. They mistakenly rented my truck to someone else the day before my scheduled pickup. The Vienna location is 3 blocks from my apartment. Instead I had to drive an extra 5.3 miles to pick up my rental at Blizzard drive. I was simply moving 16 blocks from the Vienna location. This mistake on U-haul's part caused me to put 10.6 more miles (round trip) on the rental than I would have from the Vienna location. Instead of deducting the 10 miles @ .69 cents/mile, which is $6.90. They took off .10 cents a mile. This totaled $1.50. I am not happy about this at all.Greg S.

Overall satisfied. No cruise and no USB port. Alarming to me was the windshield had a chip in the center with a damage claim sticker on it. Why would that not be fixed? It could spider with road vibrations and become dangerous. Obviously it didn't but with glass repair companies charging less than $100 why take the chance.richard P.

I placed the order and paid for this U-Haul truck with a appliance dolly for pick up at this location and to be returned at a location in Ripley, WV. When I got there I was told return would be the same location, Blizzard Dr and no appliance dolly. I was given a truck with a broken place in the back and the guy I talked to, I think Peyton Board, told me it was broken but it could be used to haul stuff. He said he gave me $50 off on the rental but I do not see anything about a discount on the receipt I was given. I also fell in that broken part in the truck 2 times.Ivan S.

Customer service was awful. The Sunday staff need to be taught how to interact with customers. No one ask if we had been helped. The guy at the counter said maybe 3 word during the entire transaction. Had to ask about the free lock that was advertised online. I was charged for all the mileage, when the add on line said first 30 miles where included in fees any miles after the first 30 were .69 per mile. I called to secure 3 storage units days before our travel date of Saturday, November 6, 2021. Spoke on Monday, November 1,2021. to Jacqui to secure 3 units. She was pleasant; however, little knowledge of how to rent units with someone in the back ground giving her direction. Received an e mail confirmation for only one unit, called again spoke to Kyle with my concern of only on confirmation on 3 units. Kyle assured me that I was “all set” for our arrival on Nov 7th. Arrived Saturday, presented my reservation number and the worker saidthat we did not have a reservation. The attendant seemed very distracted, no concentration and “out to lunch”. The second attendant wasn’t much better. Very disconnected and not helpful. Inside restroom just nasty. Asked if they wanted to inspect our return truck and mileage. The response was “no we don’t worry about that”. Storage units poor, trouble closing and getting lock on door. Uhaul truck blocking access to unit 145 .. attendants no idea how to more the company owned truck. This is very disappointing, not a good impression of folks moving into the state. Our unit leaked, and our possessions were covered in mold and mildew. Everything smelled and is basically a loss. Staff seemed uninterested in helping other than to tell us to make an insurance claim. Customer service was disappointing. Even if we are able to recoup and rebuy, there are things in the unit that are irreplaceable (pictures, baby book, etc.). So incredibly easy to take care of something that is usually a logistical pain. Everything could be done from my phone, and it was really convenient that I could access my unit and return my truck event though it was past store hours. I called an employee a couple minutes past close to ask some questions and he picked up and stayed on the line with me for probably 20 minutes just trying to help me out. Great overall.
