We waited over 10 minutes to pickup before the manager finally helped us because the worker could not be found. She was extremely nice and helpful. We got to the drop off address and somehow the app assigned us to a different place 30 miles up the road different from what was on the paper they gave us. I called st cloud and got hung up on twice and put on hold twice until the manager fixed the rental to big lake smoke shop. This process took over 45 minutes.

LOKRE DWe wanted to pick up in Brooklyn Park but the location was changed on us the day before. This location was out of our way but we had no choice but to make it work. Typical U-Haul. And truck was basically on empty when we picked it up in MN and we had to drive straight to a gas station to fill it up.

Bryce N | Online Move InMake sure the equipment you rent is working properly, if not make sure you contact UHaul to get any issues corrected. The car trailer I rented was missing the front safety chain and one of the four tires was out of round so the trailer bounced while going 30 mph and above. The U Haul dealer replace the trailer with another they had on site and replaced a missing safety chain when I brought it to their attention. Equipment should always be inspected and ready to go BEFORE its picked up by the customer. The U Haul dealer on Lincoln Ave and Division street in St Cloud is not a good place to rent from.

Miranda NWe had confirmation for a truck in the twin cities metro, to make a 1 way trip. For some reason the truck was unavailable for us and we ended up getting the truck in st cloud. We wound up paying for double miles plus fuel and an extra day because we were a few hours late in returning it. We called corporate customer service before being late and the rep was very rude and condescending toward us. Also be aware that when you rent a truck (20' 26' etc) the actual usable space is about 4' smaller. Due to this we are forced to make a 2nd trip to the twin cities to pick up the rest of the load. (About a pickup load) our issue is with the corporate office, not so much the st cloud location.
Lisa RMake sure the employee that is checking in the truck does it correctly! I was overcharged by almost $190 due to mistakes made by a new employee!

STEVEN BThere was a mix-up with my trailer and another customer's trailer (the other customer was given my trailer). When I returned my trailer, I was charged almost $300 extra in fees. I called the 1-800 number for U-Haul and it looks like everything was taken care of. Just waiting for the other charge to drop off my bank account. Otherwise, everything else was fine. The trailer was clean and ready to go. Tire pressure was perfect.

NICKOLAS TIf paying cash putting their better there is a deposit On top of the rate. I had to pull cash out and had to pull out more than the rate.

TIMOTHY GWe had a problem with the storage unit at a different storage location so we ended up keeping the truck for an extra day, went back the next day to pay the extra day and the manager at the location was very very helpful and very kind I would definitely definitely recommend going here for any rental
JOSEPH RI called to confirm the drop off, and confirm the address. The guy answered the phone and said yes thus is the place to drop the truck off and that the address I gave was where I was to drop off the truck. It was the wrong address and he charged me an extra $10.
Rumone BI've had nothing but issues since Doing my online Registration. Now I am being charged extra a whole day. I was at the facility to drop-off the truck a little after 6:30 on the second. I spoke with someone and she noted I was going to ve a few minutes late and she said everything would be fine. Then standing in line. The only person working thst day, said he was new so bare with him. He was awesome by the way.. Got my paperwork for the storage went to the unit. It was to small. Went back to office More people were in line had to wait once again. I got the free 1 month with in town truck rental.he didn't know how to change it, he Had to call someone. After a Lil bit he fixed it.. I went back to the unit by this time it was already almost 9 pm. Opened the unit started to unload. Noticed there was water everywhere. Called in and cleaned it up. SPEAKING OF THAT IT STORMED LAST NIGHT,SO MOST OF MY STUFF IS RUINED. I AM NOT PAYING FOR A EXTRA WHOLE DAY. AND WHEN I GOT THE TRUCK THE TRUCK HAD LESS GAS THEN WHAT THE PAPER WORK SAID. THE GUY THAT HELPED ME HE SIGNED AND CORRECTED THE PAPERWORK. I AM HEADING TO THAT FACILITY HERE MOMENTARILY.

Managing and coordinating the staff seems to be a periodic challenge, but when served, excellent experience.

Paula WU Haul was a lifesaver for us! On Sunday, July 21, 2024, we were stranded at MSP after the Crowdstrike BSOD fiasco. We spent hours trying to book other airlines, find a rental car, secure an Amtrak ticket- all to no avail. Delta told us they could rebook us for Wednesday the 24th. We knew that we had to get home sooner than that. After booking a 10 foot truck, we took a Lyft from MSP to St Cloud. The man and woman working the store were so kind and helpful. We hopped in the truck and drove 1000 miles back to Montana. If not for U Haul, we would still be in Minnesota, stuck with thousands of other unfortunate travelers. It was an unconventional means of travel, but we made it home. Thank you!!
Ann VDaniel and Jenna were awesome! They are potentially the two friendliest and most helpful people in St. Cloud! It was a really smooth move, despite all the construction and Public Works shutting down every possible alternative route in the city.

Richard FThe processing time to check out a van was 40 minutes. I had put in all the information the night before, but the employee had to enter it again all by hand. The card reader was not online, the employee didn't know how to operate the printer. This is my third time in the facility and it has been slow every time. The facility is so poorly managed and understaffed. The soft ware apparently has NO memory. U- haul needs a competatior
JANE OI was charged $10 for furniture blanket pads for a dozen. I reminded them that I needed them and was charged for them but never got them. I called and asked for a refund and was told that they didn't know how to do that/ couldn't even though I never recieved them to use.

My storage unit door was damaged and the manager took my lock off and left it so any one could get into my unit. When I asked her about it she said there’s nothing else she can do. I called corporate and they offered me a new unit so I could have my things secure, I’d never rent from Uhaul again nor recommend it.

I came back the next day and it wasn’t much better. In the year or two I had it I made 3 wasted trips because I couldn’t get at it. Other then that it’s very nice place.

Hugh G | Overall ExperienceFour plus years as a customer. Ever really had an issue until I went to empty my storage shed. I went to open my storage shed and my key wouldn’t work. I assumed I had lost it and checked in with the employees. They said I had left a key. All great went to un lock again and key breaks in lock. Well I decide to get a locksmith. Get the shed open and found the locking mechanism and my old lock in the storage shed. The one my key actually works on. Go to complain and check out and come to find out my shed had been “broken into” they had a police case number but no one contacted me. Would have been nice to know. They had my old number listed despite documentation showing I had called and updated my number. The alternate number that is still correct... well apparently they don’t call that number. Only one item in my storage shed was broken, ultimately didn’t care about that. But because of the Kay they gave me not working I had to call out a locksmith. All I wanted was that fee refun
