maybe make it mandatory for employees to wear masks or enforce customers to wear them so when people who understand science don't feel the need to constantly dodge selfish morons.

The inside of the truck was dirty. It had dried pop on the steering wheel. During a global pandemic, I expect the truck to be spotless and the inside of the truck to be proper sanitized. The app to pick up and drop off without out speaking with someone is absolutely terrible. The app does not work at all. I spent over 2 hours trying to get the app to work. This was a huge was of my money. The tires on the truck were borderline and extremely unsafe. This is be the last time I use uhaul if this is how they handle their customers.

The yard on King George Blvd is pretty cramped. But really the only complaint I have is my reservation being moved from Langley to King George Highway Surrey. Close to an hour out of the way each way. Moving is a tight schedule. It didn't help. Neil

Make sure that if a customer has forgotten something in the rental or something is discovered after drop off because the staff is responsible for checking the returns for such and to make sure it is clean for next customer, that you contact the person soon as it is found or the next rent doesn't take and keep it. The only thing that was not satisfying is I lost three tools in the rental truck to the next renter because the staff said it was not turned in and it cost 37 dollars for the pliers and 27 dollars for the 2 screwdrivers all just bought the day of my rental .

Why is it that I was able I reserve a storage unit online and had everything setup ready for a specific move-in date only to learn from the location staff that my reservation is not guaranteed and it's still first come-first serve basis which made me panic to rush down to the location to pay-in advanced just to hold my unit ahead of the date that I actually need to start the rental on. It feels very much like I got scammed.

No dolly available when i reserved it. Front desk employee was very rude saying "well im in the office the whole day so I dont know. Not my problem." Delayed my move and either train your employees better or find a better system.

Your review does not allow for general comments that I will include here: I booked a truck for pickup in Port Moody 4-5 weeks prior to my scheduled date. I was VERY disappointed that I had to travel to Surrey to pick up the truck. I understand Uhaul's perspective. Does Uhaul understand the customer's perspective?????? Why not just move the truck to where it is needed? I don't expect to move again but because of that experience I would look at options next time. This was very inconvenient for me!

Make sure gas meter readings are accurately reflected on customer contract. I had to submit a photo of the reading as the correct reading was not reflected.

We originally reserved a truck close to home. Email confirmation said it was a 24/7 reservation and we were good to go at 0930. The morning of our rental I discovered the shop doesnt open until 11am and we could not pick up until then. I sat on hold for 45 minutes and no one ever picked up. Finally used the chat option and got ahold of someone. We were given the option to pick up a truck 45 minutes away, and my husband had to wait in line for 45 minutes once he got there to get the truck. The whole experience was ridiculous and we will not be reserving with uhaul again.

The guy who helped me out (don't remember his name) didn't show me how to use the equipment, barely answered my questions and seemed more interested in goofing around with his friends on site than helping me out. Maybe he takes for granted that people know how to use uhaul equipment but I have never used such equipment before. When I asked how to hookup my car to the auto transport he barely explained anything, kind of fiddled around with it (I don't know what he was doing, nothing was happening) and then told me to look it up on youtube. Wouldn't recommend this location, that's for sure.

Have to equipment the customers order ready for use and on time! When a customer orders a certain size vehicle it should be ready and available. If that can not happen your company should call the client immediately and make arrangements for compensation. Very disappointed!! I will try to never you this service again!!

Vehicle is not cleaned, I could feel never done between Previous renters, No one available at returning area I waited about 10-15 minutes , then I walked in side , the staff saying we are closed (6:37pm) Last returned (6:30pm) Bad Customer service Not enough staff Monday 1 pm rented only 2 staffs 6:30 pm returned 2 staffs You guys need more staffs

Worst experience I ever have, not only on renting cars, on all services I ever got. We wait for almost a hour to get someone help us and the staff is apparently have zero experience, keep asking same questions again and again. Then, why we need to do the online check in? The car top touched a hanging sign board and we checked just some dirt over the top, not a big damage, but was charged for 400 dollars! The staff keeps saying it's a huge damages, but telling us the damage waiver we bought doesn't cover this! Crazy!

The lineup for my reserved pikup, which I had to give a credit card number was 30-40 miniuts, which made me late on arrival and my moving help had left which me and the person i brought to pickup and carry my furniture.

They need to clean their vehicles the windshield was some hard gunk on the drivers side. It was also very dirty on the outside. The inside was dirty and you know we are dealing with covid 19 so should have been sanitized. I rented from this location before and normally the vehicles were clean but I noticed all new employees maybe that's why. The staff were nice and friendly no complaints with them aside from the unclean vehicle.

I will probably never use uhaul again.ever it was the worst experience at a time when moving is stressful.right from picking up the truck which took a hour and a fight broke out in the store and nobody did anything.my wife had to yell at them because are kids were getting scared uhaul sucks bad.

I find your online booking process a bit confusing. Since you can select gear (dollys, mattress bags, etc) along with the truck, yet the truck or vehicle is the only items actually reserved and the other gear is subject to availability on the day. Nothing against the specific location I used though, the front desk attendant was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Do a prerental check of the equipment, we had one tire that was very low on air and the others needed a bit of air, but over all check in and out was great and staff was great. We will be using you again.

When customers pay for insurance, include everything. This gongshow about no uhaul roof coverage is complete BS. Nothing happened but if i got t boned and the roof is screwed now I'm paying for a roof. Thats absurd. Thats the only issue. Put in a special clause that if they ram the roof into a building or bridge then sure but totally saying no coverage is my deciding factor to never use uhaul again.

Your company needs to be more organized and if something isn't available st thst location they should be able to see where it would be available at another location. Computers ate set up that way. A customer doesn't have time to wait in line and book something and find they cant have a car dolly or whatever it may be, a trailer perhaps and have go hunt one down. U Haul computers should show close locations for people to pick up what they need. Otherwise, staff is mostly frienfly

When I first opened the storage their was a transition in management. The alarm system was due for an upgrade it kept going off after hours even when i had 24h access. The management seems to change over often doesn't make U-Haul look very good to us renters. Upon me moving out i purchased boxes I had to park near King George as the workers had all their trucks parked In front of the main doors and visitor parking. I was struggling carrying the boxes out to my car and the 2 employee's standing talking one on their phone in front of the door backed out of my way rather than offering to help me. Then on moving out day again the trucks were parked in front of the loading doors. I asked if he could move the truck he said no not really and their was 3 empty spots for the truck. Over all U-Haul would be a great company if the staff was trained better and monitored.

i lost my keys and was told i could gain access to the locker myself by bolt cutters, grinder or locksmith. i had tools so i chose that option. ended up causing a little damage to the door and they charged me almost 1000.00 to replace the door and did not accept any responsibility for the employee that told me i was able to cut the lock myself by sharing the cost of the replacement or anything. they are extremely rude men that work there and have horrible customer service and people skills.

The facility was maintained and clean however parking there was absolutely horrendous. They had way too many trucks parking around with rarely any parking spots open for our regular cars when we needed something from our storage units. Upon move out tbe staff was absolutely terrible and rude. We had 4 storage months for about a year paying over $400 a month for the units and when we went to move out the staff kept being rude to us because we we had our truck parked in front so we could load. Obviously moving out 4 units takes time. They kept rushing our moving guys and kept being rude during the entire process. Very poor customer service there.
