They were argumentative. Wouldn't handle my business. Sent me to another location, even though they had two cargo vans and one requestedSHANA C.
They guy handed me the keys and told me what space number the vehicle was didn't. I had to ask him about damages to the vehicle. He just says take pictures. It was the worse uhaul experience. Normally they bring the vehicle to you, not you having to search the lot for the right car. Also, there was one parking spot with a uhaul trailer. Besides having to drive 50 miles for the car hauler. The car hauler that I was issued seemed like it hadn't been used in a while. The ratchets on the wheel straps were rusted and had a hard time getting them started. Someone needs to maintain and upgrade the equipment at that facility !!!Octavio V.

I reserved a 3 to 4 bedroom uhaul. When I got there they say I only reserved a 10' I couldn't fit all my stuff in the truck. I had to make 2 trip. There for I was charge extra for mileage. I'm really upset cause I reserved a bigger truck.Angie Y.

The truck smelled very strongly of Marijuana, the previous customers rental agreement was on the floor, the spare tire was flat and thrown in the bed of the truck with pieces of the jack. It was very clear that the truck wasn't cleaned at all before I picked it up, which isn't great during a global pandemic.ALLEN S.

Stop false advertisement! Your website states, â€œ$50 Reservation Guaranteeâ€. Our reservation agreement was NOT honored by you! But yet the $50 reimbursement has to go through an approval process. 1. Uhaul changed the pick up location of the equipment with no email or text which were the ways I chose to receive any notifications. 2. The Uhaul at 1198 E Baseline was involved in an accident with a fire which was not the fault of that store but once again there was no notification from Uhaul on how or where to return my trailer. I called Uhaul but was on hold longer than it took took me to drive to another Uhaul and get the equipment returned. The company should have a way to notify customers of such incidents as the the store I returned the equipment to knew about the incident and was expecting me to bring the trailer there.Travis W.

There were two guys working in the store. One checked me in, and the other checked me out after returning the truck. Their customer service was absolutely awesome! I was a single woman renting a truck and moving furniture all by myself. They made sure I had exactly what I needed to get my job done without going over or under. Check out was smooth and fast. The truck had a torn wiper blade. The other wiper wasn't much better. It was dirty like most of the trucks I rent from Uhaul are. I usually spend a half and hour cleaning the inside and the windshield etc. Also, I rented a 10' truck about a month ago and it had a bad headlight.david G.

The instrument light on the dashboard for the tire pressure was on, I mentioned it to the clerk that it would be taken care of...however, if that is the case, why was it on when I rented it? You need to make sure that if people are trying to check back online that you're sight is up and ready. Due to your app not working my daughter had to call your offices on Sunday and Monday and finally received her proper adjusted receipt yesterday. It was bot this locations fault but the first two pick up locations dis not have our truck on moving day. They sent us thirty miles away and then sent us to another one after that last minute. It was very stressful and the prices are way too high for moving trucks. What was great is the customer service from Angel and he did help us out. He was very friendly too. I arrived at the location, and when I went inside I was told they had no truck for me and sent me to downtown San Bernardino (adding quite a few mikes, by the way). The gentleman who helped me at the register/counter was extremely helpful, polite, respectful and made me feel at ease. He was very knowledgeable and made this first time process extremely easy! The person at the counter was rude and uncaring. An old man at the front of the line had to pay a late fee to get something unlocked. This was at 10 am. He paid it and the guy said "Oh, I don't know where the key is so you'll have to come back around 12:30 when the other guy comes in so I can ask him." I got up there for my rental I booked a week before and he said "The company double booked this. I don't have anything for you." I said "why wouldn't you call me to tell me? I even booked a moving company through you." He said.. and I quote... "That's not my job to call you." Then he said it's not his problem as he didn't double book me. Then he offered me a small motorcycle trailer! I had no choice to take it since uhaul movers were coming!!Jennifer T.
I was extremely upset at how filthy the cars were, I had to use an entire box of disinfectant wipes to clean the car. The car was full of dirt, old paper towels, and animal hair. The vehicle was supposed to be non-smoking but it reeked of smoke. Given the current pandemic we are in it is stated that all UHAUL vehicles are cleaned and sanitized and that is not the case at this location. The car also read low tire pressure and the employee stated that the vehicle was safe to drive. We also experience batter trouble.Ana R.

There customer service is bad, they try to charge you for full tank of gas when there not. They don't guide you to take picture of odometers and gas levels to be sure of what you used (but I'm smarter than them i took the pictures at the time of my pickup). Be careful with there tricks.Elizabeth V.

First of all I had an reservation for Saturday everything was confirmed and then on Saturday just before I was to pick up the truck got a phone call that the truck was not available.That is poor customer service why would someone confirmed a reservation and then at the last minute said there was not any trucks available.The next day when I went to pickup the truck the customer service rep did not even offer to look into the situation poor customer service on his part as well.Im not sure if I will rent a truck from this particular uhaul store in the near future.Stacy J.

I ordered an appliance dolly and the online order let me reserve one. I had to move a washer dryer and stove and refrigerator. When I went to pick up the truck I was told none were available and they didn't call the other locations cause they were all out too.
