Trailer pick up was a lengthy wait time, long line, not enough staff. Bathroom in facility was filthy, no TP or seatcovers, very poor condition, both men & women's. At least they had the 5x8 trailer available as promised. I had a reservation 1 week in advance for pick up in Redlands. Day before at noon, I was notified NO trailer available. I spent most afternoon into evening on phone as I traveled from AZ to CA trying to locate a trailer. Regional office scheduled a 4x8, failed to say it was a low height. Got to location & unable to accept due to small size. Extremely inconvenienced & stressed in spite of my advance planning efforts! I would not use or recommend UHaul again. NOT a good experience for the most part. There was 1 individual at regional office (Victoria?) who was kind & helpful in finally locating & securing a trailer for pick up at SB location. She deserves credit for her efforts!

I have had nothing but trouble with my reservation. No one working there knew where my ubox was going or when. They had no idea how to enter in my information. The wrong card was charged and the wrong card was placed on file. This reservation is still incorrect even after my ubox was shipped. I am always on hold and can never get in touch with anyone regarding my reservation and my ubox. I would like to be contacted immediately.

My card was charged and the hold still hasn’t been released. I call the customer service number and they tell me to call me bank. I’m very upset that my money hasn’t been released.

I wasn’t greeted professionally when I arrived.. The vehicle was an absolute pig sty.. It smelled like an old dirty gym sock. The exterior was filthy. No one seemed to care about my experience or the condition of the vehicle..

I think the customer service is fine, what I failed to understand during my online purchases was that you now have a 4 day minimum on 1 way rentals. That was way too much for the distance I was going. So I feel like I over paid and will look for alternative solutions in the future.

I wanted a 4 by 8 trailer I told Alexis I wanted the smallest trailer then he charged me $20.46 I said is that for the smallest one he said yes when we went outside it was a 5 by 9 I told him I didn't want that one he went inside and changed my paperwork to a 4 by 8 for $15.95 and gave me my 4 by 8 trailer. When I brought it back another uhaul worker said he would credit my card the $3 difference and send me a receipt however he charged me for $20.46 for a 5 by 9 trailer I still am owed the difference

My customer rep (Carlos) was rude, and inattentive. I was the only person there at first, and as others showed up he helped them and made me wait. He watched me try to set up the trailer instead of performing the service as Uhaul promises. Additionally, the reservation process was an event. They cut off 6 hours of me rental because the moved my reservation to 4 hours before I even made the reservation. I like the idea of the service Uhaul tries to delver. But their customer service and interaction leaves a lot to be desired. They told me I had to have the trailer back by 5:30, but they closed at 5:00. So I had to play 20 questions on how to drop off equipment after hours and what complications would transpire, rather than a real customer service person offering information to a customer. So, I will only use Uhaul in the future because there is no competition. But that doesn't make them the best choice. If you do business with them be prepared to get the run around.
