I had paid well in advance for 2 dollies to help my older parents move. When we got there, there was no dollies to be found. I was disappointed by this because again, my parents are older and we had to lift a good majority of the weight of huge appliances/furniture.Scott F.

The truck was not cleaned in I don't know when...lady I spoke to was very rude. Wasn't told what to do to return after hours and charged us extra .. Ketchup pack in the front dash been there for a long time busted in the window...edwin R.

Have the equipment available (on July 31) when I made my reservation; not have to wait six weeks for me to have to rent a truck and unload my things at the Tupelo store & haul it to my house 50 miles away. Terrible experience! Using their call center is a waste of my time; I made multiple calls (usually waited 30 minutes or more on hold) and never could actually talk to the Tupelo store. The equipment is fine. It is the person/people working there. My card and my husbands card was charged several times because they kept saying it was not going through so we paid with cash. All the charges finally came off. But then a week and few days later they charged my card again for no reason. Still waiting on that to be resolved.Valerie S.

The vehicles at this location barely ran. I had a very raggedy truck that was in desperate need of a tune up and oil change. I was over charged and can't reach anyone to assist. Fix your trucks because people pay too much moneyAlicia R.

Once we pulled into the lot and tried to park the truck- we had a man come out of the front door and yell at us to not park our truck where we had it. He explained that if we were to look around we would be able to tell that we were parking in the wrong area. He told us to move the truck over by the vans because they were like sized, then told us to move to underneath an awning. He was rude and not helpful. This whole experience was not great. This is the first bad experience I've had with uhaul, but it was extremely frustrating.Tiffany H.

On the tow dolly, when picked up, one fender weld was broken and was bungeed strapped. Also on tow dolly, the lug nuts on both tires were loose, I always check before use and tightened them. Tow dolly worked very well for us and will rent again as needed.MARK N.

It's a popular location. It might be a good idea to have more than two work stations with employees to help customers. I mainly used the app for my experience but quite a few people in this area prefer that face to face interaction as was evident when I was in the store. The two gentlemen working were very easy to talk to and we had no issues.MICHAEL N.

I had a relative good experience at the Tupelo location. When I had a problem witht he parking brake at the time of rental, the attendant came out promptly helped me. However, there was a mix as to when I turned the rental back in and we were charged an extra days frental. I called customer service and the extra charged was refunded. The truck and trailer that were suppose to pick up at 7am on Saturday was not available. They were over booked and had to get the trailer 1hour away and the truck we were suppose to pick up at 10 am we were not able to pick up until 12:30. I had movers that I had to pay extra 2 hours of pay to wait on the truck to arrive at the uhaul place. The people working the store were friendly but the whole over booking messed my entire weekend up and cost me $400 extra in moving costs. It was a total nightmare.DARRELL D.

I was overcharged. I rented a truck fur one day, and returned it the day picked it up. I paid $75.00 that day. Two weeks later, U-Haul drafted my account due $115 and sent a new contract stating I had the truck for their days. I've called and disputed the charge twice. The store manager has still not contacted me, nor have I been refunded.EMILY K.

Where do I start. My experience was a nightmare. This experience caused me much anxiety and inconvenience. This experience cost my husband and daughter money because they took time off their job. It seemed the corporate office and the stores need more communication. I arrived and my unit that I reserved on the phone was not available or unknown from the store staff. It was a short turn around from reserving the space but it felt like I was sold something that didn’t exist. I was charged a bill after 3 days which included late fees. After repeatedly calling asking for assistance, I was denied access to building because of a bill on which I didn’t owe. For one, it cost too much for the small unit I had. Two, I cancelled my unit in January 2020. Gave the key and lock to the worker. And they were my keys and lock! I didnt need them anymore. I have not even been on that side of town since then....and yet they continued to charge me, sued me and auctioned something off for $1. Not that i cared.....since i CLOSED IT! Plus they always had a truck parked right in front of the units. Its inconvenient to never be able to access ur unit because the parking lot is so small and awkward and junked up. They never had adequate help...so the long wait for them to be able to move the trucks to access the unit was unnecessary and inconvenient. Id never recommend Uhaul in tupelo ms to anyone ever.
