The employee who helped me made this a standout experience. He was knowledgable, helpful, friendly, and had personality. Need more of him! Had trouble checking in the truck after hours because I signed into my account and my rental wasn't there (because I rented in person) so it took a call to support to sort it out. Having to sign out to return a truck was a little weird - hopefully they can get that worked out. =]CORY W.
We needed a one-way truck and found out upon arrival (on moving day) that we'd need to drive it all the way back. This caused us to incur charges on many more miles than planned. Additionally, there was no dolly in the truck.Timothy A.

Reserved a Truck at the Buena Park Locationfor 1/3/22. I was warned I would be charged if I do not cancel within 24 hrs. Days later, I cancelled the reservation on 1/1/22. The rep refused to email confirmation of cancellation. Then the rep said my confirmation number was 1800-Uhaul. Then the arrogant rep said they do not have time for me. Conclusion: UHAUL wanted to avoid providing proof that I cancelled so that they could charge me for the reservation. SCAM ALERT. I called 1-800 U Haul. Asked for their fax number to their Complaint dept. They hung up at 11:29am PST. I called back. Spoke to Brandi at 11:31am. She waited 6 minutes to read off the fax number of 602-263-6902, which does not work. The only reason for this 6 minute delay is she was hoping I would go away.SCOTT S.

Really tight entrance. Too many vehicles parked where you turn in. I'm experiencing hualing 40ft trailers so I made it in ok but many people would struggle to make the turn with vehicles stacked in the driveway of an already undersized parking lot entranceMARCOS V.

The gas tank was 1/3 full but I was told it is 1/2 full! I was told to report it, I said I have not picked it up yet. Why do not want you to go over and look! But the employee refused to do that. I drove less than 20 miles and then fill the tank with 3 gallons. Now waiting to see if they are going to charge me base on 1/2 full or not!Tony J.

I was told that I could do mobile pick up at the store, never received confirmation after registering, and had to wait outside the store for an hour after being dropped off to pick up the truck. The people that work there are very courteous and helpful. Every time I have gone to go rent a truck, I had a good experience and the trucks are always nice and clean. There is plenty of parking across Red Hill street, in front of Big Lots in case you need to leave your car there. I use rentals often and this my favorite place.GUILLERMO A.
U-Haul rates are crazy. $1.09 per mile for the small truck. I was helping a refugee family move into an apartment, and offered to pay for the truck. After the $167.00 charge, I will not use U-Haul again, and will find a competitor, with reasonable rates. I can't afford to help these people anymore.David J.

When I arrived I asked the employee about 10'' van, he told me we are fully booked, he tried to push me to get the bigger one 15'' or 17'', but when I refused to upgrade and he felt I was leaving, he told me it's okay we can arrange a 10'' for you by emptying one of them, the box truck was empty and parked nearby the door in the ally, I didn't understand why they were dealing with me like thisâ€¦ it's not a professional way in business at all. Please call me for any further details about this issue, I'm ready to cooperate. And really don't want with this brunch again if the service will be like that. There is a Homeless guys leaving right in front of unit 254. I didn’t feel safe at all leaving the door open and unlock while I was moving out. Also, there is others storage rental properties that would make your life easier having elevators with a lower cost per rental. We had trouble inputting our access code since there were three keypads. We didn't which one to use. So we ask the guy (an employee?) inside and he said storage hours is closed despite the website saying it closes at 10PM; we were there at 9PM. I managed to figure out which keypad and gained access to the storage facility; we started moving my stuff into my storage unit. Soon after, he called the cops for burglary. We had to explain to the cops everything. Bottom-line is, the person inside the facility did not even know when the storage hours of operation are and was rude/extremely unprofessional.
