My reservation was for the Park st. location. First, I was at the counter while one man l99ked up my reservation. Another customer came in to return their vehicle, and the Park st employee serving me started talking to him and answering his questions while I stood there waiting. I did not appreciate that at all. Then he tells me they didn't have the van I booked and I had to go to Victoria. "Dont worry, its not that far" another employee told me. Yes it is far, especially since I'm paying for each extra kilometer. I asked for a discount or at least a free dolly. He has to call the traffic department to verify. The agent on the phone needs to learn that we can hear him loud and clear. "She pays for the van, she pays for the dolly but tell her she gets a reservation guarantee". So Park st. DOESNT guarantee? That was just a shot in the wind? Took my chance that maybe it would work out? The employee asks the man on the phone if he wanted to talk to me and clearly hear, "Why would I want to talk to her?". Umm, because your customer service sucks? Because your staff are useless and you sound like a dick? I drive to victoria and waiting fucking forever. Finally get my van. The staff there st least knew what they were doing and were friendly. But I will absolutely, never, ever, recommend Uhaul, especially n9t the park st location

I booked a reservation yesterday however no longer need it. There is NOWHERE on the site to cancel booking. Didn’t even put a lock on, very frustrating.

I would never recommend the park st location to anyone. I went there at 2:30 to pick up my truck. I had already made a reservation at 1:42pm. When I reached the park st location they said we don’t have any trucks available. I said how was I able to make the reservation. They started saying about their back hand thing which I couldn’t understand. My only urgency was I wanted a truck and I was not a walk in customer I had made a reservation. And instead of arranging a truck for me they just said you can go to victoria ave. How would I explain someone that I came to the location by UBER. Now I have to again go to a different location to get the truck. Customer service was so bad they didn’t even let the victoria location know that I was coming. The lady who helped me was so nice at the Victoria location she had to make a call to park st location that the guy is here to pick up the truck. They didn’t even inform them. Nobody is going to see how much back and forth I had to go from this location to the victoria one. Very bad customer service from the park st . They simply said we can’t do anything you have to go to a different location. That how you provide service? And after making a reservation this is what I hear can’t do anything. Nothing bad to Victoria location you were amazing.

We were not expected. Trailer was dirty. They had no idea of the dates we needed and changed to date of our return so we were overcharged. Not happy

The lady that helped me on the phone Michelle I think was her name was amazing.. I can not thank her enough. After a 20 hours on the road to arrive and not having enough space I can not thank her enough in helping me on her time off to figure out the code issue. So online booking needs to know that the code needs a 1 in front and doesn’t like zeros..

Was disappointed that my only drop location was out in Selkirk was an extra 45 km drive just to drop off the trailer as I only needed to be in Winnipeg. The staff in Regina tried to change but system would not allow, I then tried change once in Winnipeg and still would not allow a change. When at the drop location he asked why I choose his location to drop, the app would not allow a change so was frustrating.

Waited in store 40 min. that was unattended due to staff cutbacks . Only one person working and was busy elsewhere and no where to be found. First Truck given to me had flashing light on dash indicating tire issue. 2nd truck was fine but dirty and window had been left half way down letting cold air in the cab for likely days. However, the manager of the store , Helen M is doing her best with the staff she has and she is extraordinary at resolving any issues . Above and beyond ...which will make me come back. I am a very regular uhaul truck user and storage customer

FIRST: In conjunction with renting a storage unit in Regina Sask, we, Teresa Leavey & Glenn Tomchuk rented a CONTIANER AA1622H and PAID IN ADVANCE $4186.72 AMERICAN Dollars, to be shipped to Melbourne Australia, pick up date at our past residence Nov 10/25 estimated arrival time in AU in writing from U-Haul international of 2-4 months. It was our duaghter & partners belongings, CHRIS BRADBROOKE , an Australian citizen who took charge of the documentation in ADDITION to TERESA LEAVEY and the ETA keeps getting DELAYED with a current ETA departure date of FEB 28 with is already WELL PAST to the documented ETA of 2-4 MONTH’S! We PAID this amount from CANADA in US FUNDS in GOOD FAITH and here we are today FEB 25 with ABSOLUTELY NO CONFIRMED SHIPPING DATE! As MR Bradbrooke stated is his last email dated Feb 23, ( U-HUAL reresentative “ Guirellimo” REFUSES to ANSWE MR Bradbrooke’s emails!) the U-Haul service has been truly DISAPPOINTING, and NOT ONLY are we looking for a CONFIRMED Depatutre DATE, some sort of FINANCIAL COMPENSATION AS WELL! PLEASE ADVISE MR Bradbrooke & Ms Leavey what U-Haul’s INTENSIONS are going FORWARD…PLEASE! SECOND: The U Haul Service in Regina Sask was EXCELLENT! If I was going to recommend using UHaul to a friend, I would recommend this location. However, I would not recommend UHaul as a company going forward. Instead of forcing me to buy a hitch and a 4 pin to seven pin converter, let me rent them, just like I rented the trailer and the moving pads. When I need another trailer I will look somewhere else as I did not appreciate being "nickeld and dimed" for these things.

First off no one was around when I went in but they were in the washroom, a sign would be nice but i could have easily stole stuff lol i was very surprised the lack of care. My uhaul was near empty gas i had to fill it before i got home in regina (gas cap was near off.. are people siphoning gas at this location?) and they knew I was picking it up and they left it caked with ice and had a crappy ice scrapper that took me near 20 mins to clean the window. The wiper blades are beyond garbage please replace them asap of be scared if it was raining or snowing Worst blases ive ever seen. I'm spending 300-400$ the least they could do is actually check on my vehicle before pick up. They didn't tell me where it was I had to wander around in -30C finding it. I was not happy. Check engine light was on they didn't know why and said if i fill it with gas it would go away (how/why?) It didn't. I was nervous driving to saskatoon but I had to go I had no time to rearrange a new uhaul. I get to saskatoon and the place was night and day in service. I do recommend saskatoon.

Van was not swept out, debris from previous rental left and cab was not very clean. Moving blankets and dolly was missing, could have saved some damage. Understaffed location made for a late pick up, and staff neglected to inspect even the fuel gauge and charged for the difference (already refunded). Overall, i am disappointed with my first uhaul experience.

I first went to the park st location to pick up the trailer at 730am, only to find the store was still closed and nobody was around . I called uhaul who tried to contact the manger to no avail, I then had to re book a trailer for the Victoria east location . Upon arrival there was nobody in the store and I had to look around for an employee to help me. Turns out they were in the break room taking a break ..... furthermore once we finally got done the paperwork we went out to the trailers only to find they are all completely frozen to the ground. At this point im already an hour late to where I needed to be, ended up taking a different trailer that was full of garbage and big rocks , the lights on the trailer were also not functioning. I've been a u haul customer for over 10 years and I have never had such a horrific experience, it has steadily been getting worse everytime I come to rent something. From here on I will no longer support u haul and will look for different options the next time I need a rental. Sincerely, Brandyn C

The first truck I was given was leaking excessive oil. U-Haul team should have identified this during check in Second truck I was given had a check engine light with a misfiring engine cracked windshield and sunvisor was dangerously hanging down Staff at the counter had trouble even printing a receipt

It is not something you can teach, it come from true kindness and wanting to help people who are stressed from moving. Only thing that was a problem is the hitch bolt to tighten the hitch onto my trailer ball seized and I couldn't get it on or off without a wrench. Needs some lube to work in the -30 degree temps. Everything else was a great experience.

There were mice poop everywhere on my belongings that I wish to store safely, securely and clean. I thrown away my mattress and sofa due to mice bites and poop. This makes me no use to the u haul storage. I wont recommend anyone to store in any u haul storage. The cashier mentioned, store manager will contact me soon. But, no one contacted so far. Poor customer service. Well done. This is how you guys need to treat customers.

My original pickup was supposed to be at a different location but the equipment was unable to be picked up due to a problem. Excellent customer service online to get me another trailer quick. Then the trailer I had encountered a light failure so I dropped it off a day and a half early because it was no longer safe to be on the road. As this was after hours I was unable to speak to anyone. The 1.5 hour delay to pickup and early drop off was a huge inconvenience. I am disappointed that I could only use the equipment for half of my rental period but also realize the light failure was not preventable or predictable. The people that I did deal with along the way were excellent. (Both on phone and in person).
