Our experience was horrible. The truck I ordered was not available. The furniture pads I ordered were not available. The gas tank indicator fluctuated and was not accurate, so we had to pay extra for gas that we did not use. There was a leak in the truck so some of our couch cushions were soaked. The attendant had no concern about that at all. Unacceptable.

I was charged more even when putting more gas in then needed. There were hidden fees not mentioned over the phone booking.

Upon pickup I confirmed that they will be open op Monday the 14th October but when I arrived at 3:30pm they were closed, there was a person behind the counter but he did not even bother to come out and open the door to give me instructions. I was forced to just drop off the key. Only after the rental period ended I received a text message to let me know what steps to take when I arrive. Now I am charged extra $20 for the checkin. They have to train their staff better to give accurate info. I would like the $20 refunded. Thanx

Make sure when they say open to actually be open and no one there at 4pm on a holiday Monday so maybe change ur google on holidays to saying closed!!!!

Everything went as expected. The check-in was quick and efficient. I had never previously driven a van, and so the attendant was great about showing me where to change the driving mode, where the parking break was... Returning the vehicle was also quick and efficient too. Thanks!

Your truck share 24/7 check in kept saying error on your end. To try again later, but time is of the essence. Called but was "higher then usual calls" after 40 mins of trying I was finally able to get the truck. No contract was sent to me so when filling the tank was due. There was nothing for me to look at to help me fill the tank appropriately. So I had to guess. Check out was fine but no location was available to drop off keys so I had to find an associate at the lot. Also when confirming I had left the vehicle the site said error occured and then eventually said have a good day. No receipt was emailed for records. Overall a pretty abismal experience.

I thought the website was pretty slow to use. But in the end great to skip the line. That being said it wasn’t very obvious when I went to pick up the key that’s what I was there for since it was the same spot that everyone else was checking in at.

More staff at the front desk, transactions take time and people have to wait a long time for service. Parking lot is so full you can not park or drive through at times, which makes it very difficult to get to the customer service area and load supplies. Staff are friendly.

Trailer needs an inspection. Trailer brakes were sticking, and made trailer surge on acceleration.

We reserved a 10 foot van 1 week prior to pick up. We received an email day earlier with their change of plans for size of unit. We arrived early on pick up day/time only to wait over an hour to talk to the lone employee. Then we find out our reservation not available. The multiple excuses given were to the point of utter frustration. The best ones being, we could go online at that moment to reserve (again) our desired van size and my favorite, we rent out on a first come,first serve basis. We eventually got a van we believed was dropped off moments before we drove. It was so dirty inside the cab. Made sure we took photos and relayed story upon drop off. UHaul, you really need to get more organized.

We arrived to wait in line which is normal for this location. We were waiting for 20 minutes when a gentleman walked in went to the side of the counter and started talking to the rep at the counter. The rep told him to have a seat at the desk and he would help him when he was done. The rep finished up with his customer and then proceeded to help the man that had just come in when we were all standing in line for quite some time. Now we have waited 30 minutes and we get up to the same rep at the counter. He says one minute I just have to run and give them there moving blankets. We waited and waited and he never came back. The rep at the other counter then called us over to her so that we could check out the truck. She apologized and said he was new. New or not this was horrible customer service. When we got in the truck it was filthy dirty, there was garbage and leftover food in the truck and it looked like it had never been cleaned.

Our u storage box not ready for our schedule appointment. Worked thru : we were not scheduled( we were) , there is no forklift operator that day ( our box was eventually moved that day) . The drive thru lot is a hazard to drive thru with all the equipment poorly parked, and to top it off the general manager at the location seemed disinterested to help. ( for context we were on our move in day and timing of the day was critical) Had to rearrange a number of deliveries and pick ups due to the lost time at your location... the most poorly organized Uhaul location I have ever come access

We were not guided to our truck when picking it up. It took us 15-20 minutes to find it and once we did we realized that it was behind a trailer. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the worker to move the trailer and reverse the truck for us. Poor customer service overall.

Allow lots of time to do the paperwork, and don't expect to find a place to park your car. The staff are working hard to do a good job in a crowded, busy and under-staffed location

Requested accessories (furniture dolly) were not available for rent as advertised, only for purchase. Had to buy a furniture dolly from the uhaul store when I could have brought one with me as the one arranged for at the time of booking was not available. Do not understand why they could not have rented me the one I had to buy.

Have more stafff working, like you used to at this location. The people working were friendly and doing a good job but management made a mistake only having 2-3 people working on a busy saturday - line ups were ridiculously long. A few years ago this location used to have 6 or 7 people working at a time, and it was much smoother experience for everyone. I also do not like the computerized vehicle inspection - my phone died shortly after arriving on the lot and I couldn't use it. Fortunately one of the incredibly busy staff left his regular duties to inspect with me (gas guage was off, vehicle dirty, several dents on vehicle that did not have stickers on them).

Very poorly managed, chaotic & it shows in their attitude toward everything & everyone. Their trucks block storage access doors, no parking, everything takes a long time. Manager is combative. Run!

This location is chronically understaffed. Line times can be ridiculous. I moved my things out of storage yesterday to find rat droppings all throughout my bags of clothing.

I'm used to spacious US facilities. The building here is antequated. Storage lockers are not sized to match truck sizes, floors are uneven, the sole elevator must be shared with other movers.

A nightmare experience. So many mice I'm still emptying mice droppings from my boxes. Inconvenient. U-Haul parks their spare trucks in the loading area. Thru-way often blocked.

Awkward floor layouts with beams criss crossing make it a challenge to move large items in. Damp mouldy smell, wet rotting floors, mouse poo everywhere made me remove my stuff as soon as I could.

The staff were efficient and helpful BUT there were 12 stairs to my space. Even if UHAUL is too cheap to put in an elevator why not a ramp? The unit I had reserved and confirmed was not available

When I checked into the storage unit, UHaul seemed understaffed. It took a long time to find an employee outdoors who could unlock my storage locker for me. The floor of the storage unit was dirty.

Unfortunate vermin infestation (apparently due to another customer storing food) resulting in mice feces and urine all over our belongings. Uhaul should have notified us at the time it occurred.

the lineups for service are always longer than 1/2 hour. There is never enough counter persons. I had to go back to the office 3 times to get proper access. Not a good day at UHaul. Locker was great

I reserved a 5x12x8' space, filled truck with 5x12x8' of stuff, drove 1000km, and found that the space was only 5x12x6', 25% smaller than I expected. No reduction in price, no bigger space available.
