I returned the uhaul and they charged me $84 for the furniture dolly and furniture pads I never received. Requested refund but received no response. Will never use uhaul again.

Have no prior experience with UHAUL or competitors. Online reservation system was simple. Pleasantly surprised at change to Topaz location from Queens, as this was my original preference but was not available online. Not thrilled about unexpected day-of upgrade to larger truck as it was more intimidating to drive but it worked out. Prompt service from staff. Disappointed Topaz location had no record of me pre-purchasing mattress bag and stating I would have to go pick up from Queens location even though they had them on shelf at Topaz. I also had to go back and ask them to find me furniture protectors even though they knew it was on order (In-store rack was empty) and was given 10 not a dozen. Truck was clean and drove very well. Return process simple.


Rental truck had a very badly cracked windshield (over the middle half of the windshield), and it should not have been rented until repaired. Unfortunately there were no other available trucks of that size at the time. Also, albeit a minor point, this was obviously a US truck as the speedometer was in miles per hour, odometer in miles (not sure why this is being used in Canada, as you have to do conversions to metric!) Also the price quoted to me on the phone was $140 for my reservation but when I picked up the truck, the price was $165. The customer service person said there was nothing she could do. So as a result, I would avoid renting at this location again.


Truck was ready when promised and worked well during move, staff was friendly and efficient. Price was as quoted.


Parking for customer's vehicles while , out in rental vehicles is needed. Directions to the customer regarding parking is essential. I, unfortunately; was left a parking fine, when I returned the rental vehicle. 😞


I have posted on Facebook also. I will never return and an urging my friend to rent elsewhere, your whole “return with gas gauge at exact spot” is a deplorable scam. The staff tried to take $9 extra from me. I drove a Savannah 17k and put 5 litres in. It had more gas then when I got it! The staff said that wasn't verified by the needle and suggested it was my fault for not verifying before leaving that they hadn't underfilled it! Fraudsters. Preying. I will continue to tell everyone I know; giving this location your truck rental business is going into your money to dishonest people.

I received the truck with a three-quarter full tank. I was told if I did not get the tank back to that same mark they would be charging me a higher rate per litre for gas to fill it up. I do not think that I should pick up a vehicle that does not have a full tank. How is a customer to fill a tank to the exact mark on the fuel level indicator that it was at when you picked up the vehicle? The vehicle should be at a full tank when picked up therefore when refilling it is easier to fill to the max rather than having to guess where it would be. This failure to have a full tank cost me probably an extra $20 and I don't think that it right.

Very frustrating service experience. We arrived on time, with a reservation, and there was no line, and it still took half an hour for us to have keys in hand. We were late for the meet up for which we required the rental and it ended up not working out. It made it a far more stressful and negative night than it should've been. Hoping for a refund - thank you.


More of a comment I am a hotel manager and developer. The staff were very kind and professional. Business are more about the people who work there. Even if there was an issue I would have looked passed it due to the great service. In this world of Covid remember to appreciate the people who work for us.

the back area of the truck i used was covered in pine needles from previous use . while providing a great smell , it was also messy . The ease of use from booking online to picking up to dropping off was easy and the counter person was helpful . More furniture sized dollies for rental would also be a bonus .

I had an incredibly unpleasant experience working with this location. Not only did they not have the equipment I reserved, but the customer service I received was non existent. I had to change my drop off location and spent an hour on the phone with a uhaul representative who was very helpful. However the location did not honor the changes that were made, and I ended up being charged considerably more than I anticipated. I wrote a review of the location online detailing the various issues I had. I am incredibly frustrated, and frankly I will never rent from uhaul again because of this experience.

This site seems way more U-Haul and moving focussed. The lighting was not the best, and signage could be a little more transparent.

A padlock was left on the trailer and made a busy moving day and trying to catch a ferry to Vancouver unnecessarily stressful because we had to go back to the location and get it unlocked. Ended up missing the reservation for the ferry and pushing our day back.

During my 2 day rental I had a call from a Uhaul representative who was looking at my address in the contact. He wanted to inform me that there was a closer drop off location then what I had planned. Also I left my wallet in the rental truck after dropping the key in the drop box. I didn't realize until the next day. The manager Inderpreet Singh called me and informed me he had it in his safe and could pick it up at anytime. Great Service. Thanks Guys
