I've been to this Uhaul location 3 times in the last few weeks, and have always received friendly, prompt and professional service, from pick up to drop-off.

The ease of drop-off is bad. I just want to drop my keys and leave. I shouldn't have to record a video of it. What if i don't have a smart phone? I got charged $25.00 for cleaning. No other rental agency does that. I will not rent from you again because the $19.95 appeal really doesn't add up in the end. And the other rental agencies are better at customer service.

It took me nearly an hour on Saturday to pick up the 20' van I booked the night before. If I knew it would take me that long I would have taking it on the Friday night instead. There seemed to be only one person on the counter when I went to pick up the van. Other than the long wait at pick up the rest of the experience was good, check in was easy as I got the agent that helped me on the friday and she was very helpful both Friday and Sunday. I am sorry that you are short staffed but long waits are annoying.

Not enough staff. Over charged me by 13 dollars and she agreed but did not know how to change it... Was going to get help but was so busy the person that could do this would of taken another 45im of my time...

Make it CLEARER about the self registration process. I read ever notification (there were sooo many). A big sign in the store outlining the process would be appreciated.

The dolly and mats that come inside the truck without requesting them are a scam. I had to move these in order to move my items into the truck. Because I had no choice in the matter, I had to pay for them even though I did not use them. It's a scam of the highest order and I will not be using UHaul in the future.

Have enough people on staff. Ensure staff members are properly trained. I have had to use this location twice in the last month and both times had to wait for over half an hour to be served. The first time counter staff were quite rude and untrained. The second time there was only one counter staff who was polite and doing her best but new to the job and unfamiliar with all procedures and should not have been left alone on the job on a predictably busy Saturday morning. I'm likely going to go to a different service provider next time I need to rent a vehicle.

U-Haul is not worth your time or money - stay away! The Victoria location charged us for a missing dolly that we returned before we left town. We had even further customer service and billing nightmares when we reached the Alberta location. Each location is impossible to reach via phone- you get directed to an international call centre, making any issues very difficult to resolve. We are now facing additional charges for not paying this illegitimate fee right away. Such a headache!!!

This location was crowded with no where for customers to park. Customers had to park off site. All the off site parking spots were filled with uhaul vehicles. Uhaul was also getting parking tickets for parking on the street. The male staff members were rude and not quick to help. The one person April the only female on staff was quick on acknowledging customers with immediate eye contact and a assurance that she would be with them as soon as possible. It tool over 5 hours to get a trailer electrical done and hook up to our vehicle. When the reservation was originally made 3-4 weeks in advance and electrical hook up requested. Upon arrive for the appointment there was no electrical appointment booked. The staff was more interested in using the bays for cleaning the trucks that were not in use then accommodating the customer on hand with a need that needed to be filled. The Victoria Topaz location needs to be relocated to a larger area with more options for parking and customer service.

The location was severely under staffed - we chose the central location, because we thought that it would be simpler and the express key pick up would be, exactly that: an express. However, after 2 hours of waiting in line and finally getting the truck at 11am (scheduled to pick up at 9am, we arrived at 8:50am) it was less than ideal. The stress of delaying our move by 2 hours, having our movers wait the additional time was absolutely ridiculous. We wouldn't recommend this location to our worst enemy. Like I mentioned, the stress alone was awful but the wasted time and money was even worse. We will be calling into the call center to request compensation.

Untrained staff who didn't know how to work the system. Long wait times. Reserved equipment omitted (furniture pads), though thankfully not charged extra. We helped a friend pick up a uhaul from another location recently and it was night and day - just a way nicer experience at the other location. I'll avoid this location at all costs in the future.

A lot of confusion caused by the original booking agent (by phone), and an error by the desk agent in Victoria. I was called the day after I dropped off the equipment (during business hours and had it all signed off and paid) and told I was incurring additional costs because I hadn't dropped it off. Then they called back and told they had found it.Very frustrating to deal with and impossible to call your customer service department.

Terrible customer service, very condescending, not efficient and had to wait too long for vehicle sign out. Workers at this location are disinterested and clearly not interested in making the customer feel welcome

Have more staff. There was only 2 counter staff and 2 garage staff. It took us about 2 hours to pick up our truck that we had reserved a month prior.

The instructions once I arrived on site were confusing and non-existent. The pieces of letter sized paper they posted up all over the place said if you registered online that you could skip the line. There were two ladies working the desk that day and a massive line to talk to the one on the left. The one on the right was under the sign that said Express Pick up and was with one customer, so I went up to that one. She told me to go to the back of the long line, even as I showed her my phone and said I checked in online. The customer even chimed in and said I needed to line up, so I did. As the line progressed, a few other people went up with their phones and it seemed like the staff on the right was just picking and choosing who to help out and give instructions to. She told some of them to go outside and take pictures as the app directs, while she told others to wait in line. This all could have been solved with one clear poster that outlines the steps for what to do once you have registered online. The long line caused a late pick up time, two hours after the guaranteed time.

Zero parking. Rude counter staff every time I’ve used this location(not the woman who checked me in this time) short staffed at both check in and check out. Always a frustrating experience but you have motorcycle trailers for cheap and I’m too lazy to find another place.
