had to keep going back SEVERAL times jst to be told they either didnt have the hitch in to do the job or there was nobody to install the hitch. I could have gotten a call to tell me this and not wait till i showed up each time. Once hitch was installed, it appears to be professionally done.Charles B.

Booked online several days prior. Truck and additional equipment was not ready when I arrived. The computer system " was frozen" and I was delayed with the finalization of the rental. Was told the truck must be back by 8am on Sunday, yet the facility did not open until 9am and there were no directions for after hours drop. Seems light a fly by night opeation.MICHEAL H.

When you are busy there need to be 2 ppl at the counter I booked my truck online and still had to wait and because they were so busy he didn't check to make sure that the key to lock on back door was on the ring had to go back and get it and they were very busy and I had to wait for more than 15 minutes and this prolonged me to start movingTIMOTHY G.

Make sure the tire's Don't have nails/screw's, in it and the costumer doesn't have to keep air in the tires every day, also makes sure it doesn't need a oil change/tune up because the truck I had the passenger back tire constantly need air put in it and the service engine change oil words stayed up. Also Make sure the horn, relay's, don't constantly make noise going down the road, parked, ect.Joy C.

When I rented this trailer, it was for a different location. I was sent a text message confirming my rental the day before but I didn't see in the text that the pickup location had been changed. It would have been nice if someone had given me a courtesy call tell me about this change.JOSEPH B.

I wanted to rent a van but none were available so I rented a pick-up instead. However, when I went outside I could see it was about to rain so I returned inside and told the clerk, Amber that I really needed a van. She then proceeded to find a van at another UHaul location and made me a reservation all while assuring me I would not be charged for the pick-up. The manager, Mr. Wade was not available but Amber said she would handle the change with him later. Indeed I later received a voicemail from Amber saying that any charges to my credit card would be refunded and that I didn't need to worry about it. However, a few weeks later and still Mr. Wade refuses to refund my charges and even admits that his clerk should not have told me I would not be charged. That is not my fault. Amber went above and beyond to help me and to satisfy my need for a van however the manager does not keep the words of his company. He should honor the promises made by his employee and provide proper training so she doesn't make this promise in the future. Therefore I will not use this location in the future and cannot recommend it for anyone.HARVEY M.
Besides a broken mirror the vehicle was fine. However, pickups after 7pm when the store closes are terrible, the picture showing where to retrieve the keys is not correct, customer service line is absolutely terrible they dont help at all, called twice and after i asked for help they put me on hold and then hang up. As for my reservation price, i stated in my return i NEVER RECEIVED THE PADS, so a refund must be given, the price for those still show up in my final payment and i have been charged for them.Fernando A.

When l walk in it took at lease 5 minutes 5 for him to come down that's after calling them. When checking me out he was checking another guy out the same time. And when l ask l want the truck for one way he told me they don't rent one way. I said never heard of that. So it's going to cost me twice as much. He said yep. I was asking others have they ever herd that. They said no. My trip was 1 hour. I was on the phone with them the hold time on hold. They never came to the phone.DOUGLAS H.

The lady that was trying to assist me assigned the wrong size storage unit as well as a unit that was about 2 feet off the ground even after I explained to her what I was storing (riding lawn mower), therefore we had to go back in and re-do all paperwork again which resulted in another size unit that wasn't cleaned out and being charged more. I was told I would receive a phone call the following week for a discount due to everything I had to go through because they couldn't figure out the discount code in the system at the moment, however as of yet, no call from establishment..GERALD S.

Box came 25 days late and refund is under review. The call center is worthless. On hold 30 plus minutes each time, and representatives had no idea where my box was when I called and actually said that to me. Had a Van Gogh replica water damaged and broken frame. I am still going through inventory to see if anything else is damaged or broken. I would not recommend this service to anyone.Brock B.

Customer service was below average. I seem to have inconvenienced the employee who handled my transaction. She grunted and said this is going to be freaking long day and then proceeded to just conduct the transaction with no real customer service. They also did not inform me that the gas gauge doesn't work in the vehicle so I never knew how much gas was actually in it. However it was the only one that size. The return was just as bad. â€œ leave the key in the drop boxâ€¦â€ there is not drop box.Megan H.
Super LOVE the free month of storage with the one way trailer. Also, hit a snag in my travels as my mother ended up in the hospital while moving from SD to SC. Staff both in person and on line were SO SUPER helpful with the changes I needed to make. My only complaint is being charged for the month of storage that should have been free. Would not recommend to the next customer. 1. Booked online weeks in advance. The day I dropped off my car, I got a call from the installer as I arrived at the UHAUL location. He said he wasn't there and wasn't working that day despite the fact that I made the appointment well in advance. The manager at the location said he would be able to do the hitch installation himself since I was already there. A few hours later the manager calls to say they actually don't have the needed parts and we'd have to reschedule. 2. On the rescheduled date, the hitch installer said it would be 2 hours. I call to check in about 2.5 hours later and he hadn't even started on my car. 3. Parts purchased (hitch ball) were not provided or installed.Amber K.

I had a terrible experience with my rental. First one I booked was at a closed location in a very sketchy location - I spent a half hour on the phone and waiting to locate another truck and reserved one from this location who cancelled it as they had no trucks. The woman in customer service at this location was great dealing w many angry customers who were sent to her location and they didn't have vehicles. How can you make a reservation and not get a vehicle!? How can they 800 number give me a location and reservation at a closed deserted location? I had planned to Uber there and rented a car at the last minute. Horrible horrible customer service on the 800 number to allow that to happen I will not book w uhaul again as I have no trust in the company any longerKathleen M.
My GPS directions took me to 240 Orchard Dr. instead of 400 Orchard Dr. I know this is not your fault but I almost got myself jackknifed in the place I had parked when I try to back up at the wrong location . This location is on a dead-end street and it's not easy to find. There was only one staff person working when I came to drop the trailer off and she was trying very hard to stay ahead of things and it was very unfair for her to have to be working so hard. She tried to do the absolute best that she could and she did but it was really too much to ask considering how busy that location was at that time.Shari S.
