Only about 50% off your staff is helpful. Half are useless, the other half go above and beyond. The UBox was not picked up from our drop off location in time. This caused the UBox to be days late. Getting the $50/day refund has been difficult. Reserving and renting a truck to pick up the UBox was filled with hassles and disappointments. Tracking the UBox en route is a lie which your company says is possible but is not. The UBox is not actually secure as the lock can be easily removed by anyone with a standard ratchet set. Over all, needs a lot of improvement.

I had an appointment scheduled for 3. Dropped my car off at 2:45 and they said they had to push the schedule to 3:30 even though I had made the appointment over a week ago. Then I heard nothing and called back at 5 and they said it would be done in an hour or so. I wen there at 6 and it still wasn't finished and didn't get done with everything until 6:45. If I had known it was an all day event I would have cleared my schedule. Terrible service. Would not go back or recommend this location again. Get your act together.

Poor customer service, and was promised a time and they did not keep that confirmed tome. Had to call this location 3 times due to them failing to call back “in a few minutes” due to the computer issues. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone.

The lady I checked out with looked like she just woke up. Wiping her eyes and basically laying her head on the desk. Then she was giving zero effort to answer questions. She just mumbled stuff and talked to me like I was a nuisance to her day. She didnt want to be there working, it was clear. As customer it was frustrating.

I booked online a truck online but then a day later I received an email that UHAUL had changed the booking to a different location. I called UHAUL and requested the booking back at my original location, but I was unable to change it back with the customer service representative, thus the booking was cancelled. A few days later I went into the UHAUL location I desired to book with and asked if there were any trucks available--to which I was told "of course!" A week later when I went to pick up my truck (which was booked in person and had a reservation number) I was told that there was no truck available for me. The attendant just looked at me blankly. I had 5 people waiting at my home waiting to help, I was due out of my apartment within 24 hours, arranged the booking with plenty of notice and was told there was nothing he could do because “this is a busy this time of year.” I asked to speak to his manager. I spoke to Tim Stensloff who then proceeded to blame me for canceling my first booking (again, I tried to book the first time at this location, it was confirmed online, then switch to a different location). I told him, I understand that the first one was changed, I canceled it, went to this actual location and booked in person. He continued to look at me blankly and tell me it was my fault for canceling the first booking. These were two separate bookings made on two separate days! I was told that my booking did not guarantee me a truck and that I should know better than to move at the end of a month. Absolutely insane! I told Tim that I would not leave without a truck and he told me “too bad there is nothing available.” Eventually, he finally let me rent the 27 foot truck (even though I booked a 17 foot truck). In addition, my original booking was from 4:00pm-4:00pm the next day. I was given this 27 foot truck until 7:00am the next morning. After moving all evening, I had to return the truck at 1:00am to make sure it wasn't late the next morning. Unbelievable! You are a moving company and people move at the end of the month all the time in every city! Then to blame the customer for the lack of foresight on UHAUL's part is just amazing. Talking to Tim Stensloff was worse than talking to a brick wall. The guy really seemed to take joy in the fact that he was going to leave someone, who did their due diligence, without the ability to move. Unreal!

There were no clear indicators for the pathway for the vehicles to move so the lot was blocked multiple times for long periods of times. The facility was understaffed, undercommunicated with lots of areas of inconsistent care. I had decent help this morning and I felt like it was very useful and consistent. When I returned my uhaul, I utilized the free month of storage option. However, the card reader was down and I was not given a card to access my unit, but the manager assured me that if I type in my pin that I'd have access to my unit. When I went to go try it, it didn't work. Then I returned to the desk, with a line of 5 people for one employee. I waited, got helped by a different employee who was extremely rude, rolling her eyes at us, talking down to us about how they never use a pin and that they can't provide us an access code to our unit, and how we can just go through the inner access instead of checking and out of our storage unit. I was really disappointed in the lack of customer service, the speed entirely, and I will not be recommending this location.

Great experience. Got the van I reserved super quick/easy when I arrived at the store. Drop off was just as easy and quick. Moving apartments really sucks but getting and returning the van was the least stressful part of the day. Thanks you uhaul and I'll see you next time I move!!

I was disappointed cause the u haul didnt have a ramp the lady know that i was moving a washer,dryer,stove,and a refrigerator.i told her when i returned the truck i should of got some money off for that cause that was hard work without a ramp.i didnt know that all the trucks dont have ramps.

One strap was too short by 2 feet, looked damaged. Trailer became a liability. I did not go far or fast. The tech only seemed to check the hitch, and offered little advice. I would suggest a precise check list. Not satisfied this time but have always come back to a great location and products.

I opted out of insurance when booking on line, then while at the office specially said not to include insurance coverage, yet when I got to Cleveland I found out that insurance charge was still added to the bill. Had I not checked, I would have paid for it without knowing. I called Milwaukee office and they agreed it was a mistake on their part and promised to refund that amount back to my card. One would hope it was an honest mistake and not deliberate action. Also, inside cabin of the truck was not clean. Regards...

My five stars are for the rental truck and the people. I would not recommend storage to anyone since my unit kept leaking water for almost the whole two years. To my surprise the roofers have been there several times but still have not fixed the problem. I paid my rent faithfully to finally mobe out and have the majority of stuff wet moldy ans destroyed. Im waiting to see if the insurance company blames the hole in the roof on a natural disasters so it would be my fault for the leaky roof

We rented both a Uhaul and a car tow dolly. The Uhaul itself was fine but the tire on the car tow was flat by the time we got the Uhaul home to load it up. We drove it down to Texas and had to stop at least every 3-4 hours to check the tire pressure and had to put air in every time. Before we even left for the trip down to Dallas we checked and the tire was only at 22 I believe and was supposed to be at 65.

I've had crappy experiences in the past, where employees have sounded arrogant and rude, this uhaul is not like that!!!! They kind, respectful, and more than happy to help. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

The rental went smoothly but the employee never tightened the trailer tongue to the hitch ball when they hooked the trailer up to my vehicle. This allowed it to disconnect itself from the hitch when I tried loading the trailer which damaged my tailgate.

Make sure the alignment on your trucks are often checked for proper handling. The truck that I was given could complete a turn on its own. It was very scary.

As a returning u-haul customer I rate the facility as great. BUT as for the call center, payment processing and any other telephone communication I give u-haul a zero. If you notice I use u-haul quite often and this is my worst experience. I have been left on hold so long that out if frustration I’ve Hugh up. I have gotten conflicting information and wrong information. This move turned into one big nightmare costing me $599.00 due to bad information. I called the call center asking for assistance in what type of trailer to use and was mislead. I will NEVER use u-haul again. Brian of this location called me to verify the equipment as they had the trailer as a 7x12. No such product. In stead of offering me a closed trailer one way and a car hauler to come back the customer agent put me in a 12 ft trailer that supposedly a car could fit on. Wrong. I could go on but I’m tired of dealing with this mess.

It's about $20 for a 4-hour rental, which is what's advertised on the truck- it doesn't mention plus .79 per mile, so my 24 mile trip was more like $40 than $20 with the tax and all. Just surprised me. ALSO- I couldn't find the "hazard" lights on this newer truck. I have always used them when backing up, driving slow, or loading (like in an alley) and felt less safe for not having them (or at least not being able to find them).

Very professional, courteous staff but I did end up with a 10 foot truck that has a misaligned driver's side door. It wasn't bad enough that the sensor was always flashing a "door open" warning but the door never seemed to completely close. I could hear air rushing through the gap whenever the vehicle was in motion. Otherwise, no other problems with the vehicle. Just something you might want to look at before you send that truck out with another customer.

U-haul network was down. The employees in Milwaukee were doing their best to work around it and were friendly. Very helpful with dropping off. Had a flat tire on the trailer overnight (it was very cold) but I aired it up and made it to the drop off point. Pretty sure it had picked up a nail, etc.

I had reserved a auto transport online, with no issues. When I arrived, I was told that I could not use an auto transport, and could only rent a tow dolly !!!! Why is this, when I have used the same combination previously, and was able to do it through online reservations ????

Rat droppings on all totes and boxes. The boxes I bought from Uhaul storage did not hold well at all. The mice also chewed into my boxes. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL STORAGE AGAIN!

Always had issues.When I moved my stuff outta my first unit in their "new" building it was infested with rat poop/stunk.Prior manager before the current manager Tim was horrible.Was always something.

With my daughter graduating from UWM, I was in need of a last minute change in moving plans. Everyone was friendly, even though it's very busy this time of year. I was taking care of! Thanks !

There was a surprising amount of mouse feces in my unit when I moved out. Since I didn’t store anything that would attract nice, I was a little concerned of the cleanliness. Otherwise, it was good.
