Maybe it was because it was Friday afternoon, but I pulled in to drop off the trailer and sat there for almost 10 minutes and no one came. I unhooked the trailer and finally someone came to move it away. The paperwork guy was clearly anxious to do something else.

The staff had a confrontational demeanor. When my Bf returned the truck they told him that he was supposed to leave the truck where we moved to, not being it back. This was due to him having an incorrect key color, when he told the staff member that maybe the girl who gave him the keys made a mistake, the employee told him that was not possible. Turns out it was possible and the girl had given us the wrong color key, we had in fact returned the truck to the proper location. Staff was just rude, the truck was very nice though, and there process of reserving the truck on line was amazingly smooth!

I made a reservation for 3 days, having pick up and drop off at the same location. The same day I picked it up I receive a call asking where the drop off location is, so I told them the same location I picked it up from. The next morning I get a call saying I should have returned the truck and I informed them that I was renting the truck for three days. When we finally return the truck they said they couldn't accept it because it was not the drop off location. I am not too sure who is running the show over there but they clearly cannot keep their records straight, all the miscommunication was on their end due to all this information was initially provided when I made the reservation. I will defiantly not recommend or return to this location.

Whoever the girl was who helped me had some of the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. When calling before pick-up, she answered the phone sounding annoyed, tired, and was almost unintelligible. I chalked that up to being a simple bad phone call, but when I was forced to work with her in-person, I was shocked at how difficult it was to understand what she was saying; I'm not hard of hearing, she simply mumbled all of her instructions to me, never made eye contact, never made me feel like a customer of the business she worked at. I ended up having to ask one of her coworkers to explain the details of my rental after she left me at the counter, confused whether or not I was finished. Everything about the rental went smooth, but working with this girl soured the entire Uhaul experience for me.

The young man that I dealt with . and have dealt with on numerous occasions.. does not seem to listen. He had my credit card info incorrect, the spelling of my first name incorrect and my email incorrect. I order a truck about once per month and when he answers I know there is going to be some kind of problem. Next time thinking of switching to State St. My driver had to wait over an hour because when he got to first st... My credit card info was missing. My driver could not get ahold of me so he had to call my boss for her credit card info. this caused us to be late for our clients. Not good.

Truck was not swept out when it was picked up. Dash was breaking and flapping around, a break was sticking. Truck worked OK for in town but it has seen betters days, but in it's defense it did have over 132,000 miles on it.

When I returned the truck, the staff said everything was fine. I returned the truck with almost a half of a tank. I only received 1/4, however I genorous enough to return it with almost double of what I had received! Then I got fined $40. I have proof that I only received the truck with 1/4 and the person who I told that to stated that they could see if I could receive a refund within 72 hours. That's kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Uhaul should be giving me money for giving them extra gas not stealing from me.

Staff standing around watching others work and not helping others as equipment is returned prolongs the ability to check out. This produced a long line of vehicles waiting for service and preventing others from entering driving vehicles in from the street. In addition, when I left with the truck, blankets and appliance dolly was not loaded. I had to return to get them. Staff at the counter did not communicate with the staff member that picked up the truck.

This is the second time I have rented a truck from this location. The staff was very nice and helpful in my renting experience. The two trucks that I rented, I'm not sure if it was the same truck twice, both had their check engine light on, yet had very few miles on them. It is the middle of winter, but the exterior was dirty, as was the foootwell on the driver's side. The first time, the truck had 5/16 of a tank in it, and I was asked to return it with the same level, and the second one was nearly empty. It was not until it was pointed out to me the second time that there was a chart on the rental form to suggest how many gallons of fuel to put in. Both times when I picked up a truck, the mileage on my form was incorrect, and although I was asked to check the form to make sure it was right, and I did so, it did happen both times. My mileage was checked upon return, so I'm not sure how this happens. This location is very convenient to where I live, and the staff there is always very nice, I'm sure with just a few points of improvement, this would be 5 stars in my book. Thank you.

I was scheduled to drop off the vehicle at the state street uhaul in Milwaukee, but when I arrived they said they did not have enough room for my vehicle even though they accepted the drop off location prior to my trip. At this point I had the proper amount of gas in the vehicle. They told me to go to another uhaul station and didn't help me find or contact this uhaul station and I had to scramble and try to figure this out. The closest uhaul was across the city of Milwaukee in walkers point. Then when I arrived, at this new uhaul station that I didn't schedule to drop off the vehicle at, it was pointed out that I dropped off the vehicle with 1/16th too short of gas. They proceeded to charge me an extra $15 for that gas! I wasted that much gas driving the large vehicle through the city of Milwaukee because they denied me at the location I scheduled to drop it off at! It was ridiculous! I'm Very unhappy about the way it was conducted. I had the proper gas at the time I was dropping the vehicle off at the scheduled location. I should not have been penalized for the amount of gas after uhaul made me drive across the city to a new location.
