Your website for moving, movinghelp.com is very difficult to navigate. The workers themselves were great, but it was very difficult to update information on it.

First off I picked a drop off location close to my house. Then I was notified that I needed to drop off at a different location. This location ended up being 20 mins away from my house. So I was already not happy. Then upon arriving and pulling into the bay we were completely ignored. Then when I proceeded to the desk to wait in line there were 2 people being waited on & 2 others in line in front of me. The lady that was there finished up with her person and the 2 others in line in front of me. But the man who I believe was the manager sat talking with this customer for over half an hour about bull. He kept looking at all of us standing in line and did nothing about it. I was finally helped by the woman because the manager was still talking to the other guy. Then when we went to detach the trailer we were given no assistance at all from the guy who was in the garage except a pointed mumble as to where we were suppose to drop the trailer. This was a very frustrating experience. Next time I will be renting a trailer from a different company and referring my friends and family to stay away from Uhaul. Especially this location.

Website showed availability of the trailer I was renting at my chosen location but I ended up getting routed for pickup to a location that was 15 miles farther away. The rep at the pickup location did not review the contract with me and bring to my attention that a drop off location was not set.

Always impressed with the friendly service st pickup/drop off. Was a bit disappointed that the charge for insurance was per day... It would also be nice to know that the uhaul cannot be parked overnight on Milwaukee county streets. Would have returned the night prior rather than receive a parking ticket.

I rented a 15' truck from the Walker's Point location on Friday August 10th and drove to Dubuque, Iowa and back to get my possessions out of storage. The people were great at the location, and I liked the location, but as we drove the truck it seemed like it may have had an electrical or transmission issue that maybe could have been diagnosed before renting to us. I checked the brake each time and turned off the tow function each time I drove it. None of the gauges indicated a problem and it still moved pretty well but toward the end of the trip I had the windows down and heard it was making a lot more noise than 15' Uhaul trucks have for me in the past and it was struggling going up hills, especially the 795 bridge coming home to milwaukee before I returned it. I couldn't tell whether it was emiting a smoke smell going up hills but it may have been and seemed to on the 795 bridge. The ground between our seats during the trip also seemed to be extremely hot, the liquids and foods become very hot and some melted. We didn't know if that was normal or not but moved the material from in between. The biggest issue that I would like to submit a claim about may be related or a separate issue. Both my girlfriend and my phone shut down after attempting to charge through the 12v portal in the truck. Neither of our phones could hold a normal charge after trying to charge it through the truck and the cords we were using no longer worked after attempting to charge in the truck. So we were without gps and the ability to make phone calls on the return journey. We thought the issue was temporary. My girlfriend's said it gave an overheating warning as it shut down. But when we got back the issues were not fully resolved. The cords were still not functioning in other vehicles and seemed to be burned out even when plugged in with adapters that worked or in our cars and apartments, previously. Both are still having issues and my cell phone seems to be a total loss. It was holding a small charge but after draining down on Sunday August 12th. I brought it into Verizon and then the Apple Genius Bar and they cleaned the charge portal and when that didn't work with their plugs and it no longer even tried to turn on, I decided to put in a replacement battery for $29.99, but it still would not receive a charge. I may need to get a new phone or a replacement and am currently without a phone, which is difficult in my work as a pastor. If you can respond to this issue and assist me in filing a claim I would appreciate it so that I can move forward with cell phone replacement as soon as possible. I will also call the manager at this location.

It was a pleasant experience until I turned my truck in. I returned it spotless with a quarter tank more gas than when I picked it up, and I drove it fewer miles than originally quoted, however, I was assessed a $25 "cleaning fee" and they didn't lower the rate for using fewer miles. The guy at the counter was accommodating and said that the cleaning fee would/should be removed, but he didn't have the authority to do so. He said a manager would need to take care of it later. I'm still waiting for that to happen. If I had just dropped off the truck, I would have not even noticed the extra charges. Thankfully I went in the store to get a copy of the receipt. I'm hopeful that additional/unnecessary charges are not a common practice.

I drove the truck 38 miles and put in 8 gallons of gas and was still charged for gas. Also the brakes and truck condition mechanical wise wasn’t that great

Had to go to two different locations to get equipment, even though i reserved 3 mths pryor.

first I get to return the truck, I ask one of the employee what should I do if I needed to leave the truck running or since there was 3 other trucks, 2 trucks were off I said ok so I walked into the office so I can get my receipt and I noticed that one of the employee that was outside took my truck and left the 2 trucks that were first, I immediately went to see why and second where’s my receipt. I was asked if I remembered what truck I had and I said you guys had the paperwork. Then I noticed I was charged $23.85 for gas after I brought the truck back a little more than what it was on the paperwork, 3 employees all 3 need to be retrained very poor customer service, very bad experience

My experience with U-Haul was incredibly upsetting. I originally ordered a U-Haul to be picked up at a location about 3 miles from my house. U-Haul offered this location as a viable option. However, at the last minute they switched my pick up location to a spot that was a 45 minute drive one way. This was incredibly upsetting because it added 90 minutes of driving to our already busy day that we had not planned on. When I called the regional office I was spoke to very rudely and was told "There is nothing they can do" and "I would just have to deal with it." When I asked to speak to someone higher up I was told "There is no one higher up, you're going to have to deal with it" When I drove past my original pick up location, there were numerous 15 foot trucks sitting in their parking lot. I was told "There were none there." I was not compensated for gas. Between my car and the U-Haul, having to drive to the new far away location cost me an extra $30. I will never go with U-Haul again if something isn't done to make this right. I have worked with many different moving and rental truck companies before and this was by far the worst experience I had had. I would suggest you look elsewhere at different companies. Find a company that won't switch the location on your last minute to a place that is 45 minutes away!

I was disappointed that eventhough I requested an appliance dolly and it was confirmed in my email they didn't have one available. I had to go to another location to rent a dolly.

Only two employees working and a long line of customers and because they dont have time to get your vehicle ready they give you the keys and tell you to press the alarm and that's your vehicle and take it away. There was another vehicles around so i had to maneuver to get my van out of the place it was parked. This location needs more employees working when is very busy like 12pm.

Had an issue with the reservation - we were supposed to pick up at another location but when we got there, we were told we had to go to this location for the truck. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Staff at the First St. location were great!
