Improve how you handle picking up a truck using the app. After i got there to get the truck i rented over a month in advance they then tell me i need a passport or lease or reference (i used my sister but for some reason she wasnt good enough) or income verification. This information was not relayed to me until after i had already gotten to the lot to pick up my rental. I was not very happy. I will not use it again in thr future

Workers were very accommodating on helping wheel the Uhaul instead of making me back over to where it needed to be. They also were completely understanding of the broken chains and explained the correct way that they should have been installed.

I had a reservation from 7:30 AM on a Friday to 7 PM on a Saturday. This was a very specific time because there was a gap in our lease and we needed the truck overnight. The person said it was fine, and we had the truck until 7. So the day comes when we are using the truck to move in and they call me at 4 PM asking where the truck is. I say I have it until 7, and they say my reservation says 4 PM. I have a confirmation from uhaul saying I had it until 7. Someone must have double booked our truck and changed our reservation without letting us know. Will not be using this place again.

Worst experience and customer service. I rented a truck to pickup at Tugaway in Sun Prairie. When I go to the location to get the vehicle at noon it's closed and you get a hold of the person and they said that they've been closed for 27 days due to a fire. Maybe you should have your representatives know this before they rent out a truck to a place it's not even in service. Put my moving and movers behind 6 hours trying to find another location that had a truck available to rent that day. Then when I go to rent it at another location they don't tell me that to be the rate you have to return it to the same location. So that I'm charged double because it's only considered a one way. When I finally get my money back maybe you'll get a better rating. For all the hassle you would have thought your company would have compensated me the hassle and inconvenience. I had to pay an extra day to my landlord because of your companies poor service.

After I was assigned a rental unit for storage, upon opening my locker an alarm went off. Everything else was fine, and turning the rental truck in was a very seamless process. I will be using Uhaul again in the future.

The Warner Park location is far better in terms of service and facility in comparison to other Uhaul locations in the area. I was in and out quickly and the staff was very helpful.

Dropping the truck off was awful. We sat in the parking lot for a few minutes, unsure of what to do. Then I went inside to ask someone, only to find a completely empty store. I waited for about 5-10 minutes and no one ever showed up. Then I left the store and found two U-Haul employees just hanging out in the parking lot talking to each other. I walked up and asked them what I should do, and one of them said to just give him the keys and he'd take care of it. So I left the truck parked right in the middle of the parking lot, in everyone's way. The dropoff process could have been a lot smoother.

Google maps directed me to the back entrance which is a maintenance entrance with really only one exit. Pulling a tow dolly made manuvering difficult through the parking lot to get out. Once out there is a right turn only when you need to go left to get to the correct entrance. So it is around the block to get lined up correctly.

I would NEVER use the online pickup option again or recommend it to someone else. They claimed to be contacting my reference person, but they were not. I was with my contact person and he was not receiving calls. I gave them the correct phone number multiple times and they claimed they called the person whose name I gave and he said he did not know me. Which was impossible. I then gave them a second contact person who they were able to contact but they then insisted I call customer service. I ended up going inside and the customer service I received was great. If I was there outside of regular business hours I would not have had the experience saved. I imagined the online pickup would expedite the process rather than prolong it, very disappointing.

The initial person I worked with was awesome! He was able to get my switched to a larger unit in order to fit all of my stuff. However, after I explained to him and his coworker that I was leaving my vehicle at their location and why, I was later charged $165.00 because their GM failed to confirm the correct amount for me to be charged before doing so. It was pretty unprofessional be cause I explained the situation to two of their employees and everyone acted like I didn't. I usually love Uhaul, but the lack of professionalism and customer during this round makes me not want to work with them in the future.

Nothing wrong with this location in general, but the whole experience dealing with U-Haul was a nightmare! I reserved a truck online, but when I went to the pick up location, there was no truck, and the app didn't work. No one called to confirm the reservation, so when I called, after waiting on hold for over 15 minutes, the employee on the phone was completely confused and unhelpful, and then hung up on me. In the meantime I drove to another U-haul location, called and waited on hold for another 20 minutes while waiting in line at the counter because there was only one person working and a store full of customers. No one ever picked up on the phone. I had to start all over with a new reservation, and when I finally left with my truck, I had to turn around and drive back because the two dollies I reserved weren't in the truck! The whole experience was an incredibly frustrating waste of time. I wouldn't use U-haul again if you paid me.

I think the attendant should do a quick inventory of the rental truck with the customer. Go over actual mileage, condition of the truck and equipment before giving the keys to the customer. Same inventory upon return. Best practice, less misunderstandings. Friendly attendants.

Having to check in the state of the vehicle online is very time consuming and annoying. Also the link stalled out on me. I only recently bought a smartphone, and how would I have filled out the information if I hadn't had it?? Beyond that, the customer service was amazing. I can be a pain sometimes, but the rep was amazing.

I reserved in advance, went for a pre-check and there were two trailers available. First, the person working there could not lift the trailer by themselves and I had to help. Then, neither of the two trailers fit on the ball purchased at UHaul and would not fit on my old ball. Missing this opportunity, I have to take another day off to do what I should have done on the day of the reservation. Thoroughly dismayed at this rental location.

We were on the phone for over half an hour with the UHaul team telling us we were trying to unlock the truck incorrectly, and having us redownload the app. AN HOUR after our scheduled pick-up time we received a call that the location we reserved a truck at didn't have the size we needed (we'd reserved earlier in the week) and that we had to go to a different location to pick up. It put us an hour behind schedule for an already stressful day. Very disappointing.

The online check in went well with the exception of having difficulty uploading some of the images of truck damage. We lost connection and had to start over several times. When we went inside to pick up the key we were greeted with a very friendly and helpful employee. The Truck had big crack along the entire width of the windshield. It was low enough so as not to impair vision but I was a bit concerned about the strength of the windshield.

I arrived to pick up the vehicle on Saturday 2/23/19. The weather was horrible, sleet, rain cold. The extremely efficient associate at the desk had the vehicle pulled up to the building warming it up for me. When I returned the vehicle she took the keys and said I was free to go and she would email me my receipt. It appeared less than 30 minutes later. The facility was clean and well maintained. The associate friendly and efficient. I would recommend this location to anyone who enjoys good customer service for a reasonable price! Thank You

I included a dolly with my order, but when I got to my old house to start loading I noticed it wasn't inside the truck. They offered me a refund or said I could come and pick up one instead, so I eventually came to get one after my first load but it was a huge inconvenience.
