So I was being serviced and my son went to use the restroom. When he went to the restroom, I'm assuming that there was a torch left unattended by employees there. So my son lit some toilet paper on fire being a irresponsible 15 year old, so yes I feel i was responsible for that part but what I'm not gonna take responsibility for is the fact that the manager Kyle Baars tell me that he's not gonna hold his employees that's adults responsible for being irresponsible but would hold me responsible as a adult being a parent which is unfair. He told me that next time they'll have the police called and have me arrested for larceny which is wrong because for 1, it wasn't me and my child's scrims would cause me to have a consequence so why not hold his adult employees responsible for not following safety protocol. It could've been way worse. And the toilet nor the place of work was damaged it was just smoke from the fire from the tissue on the toilet seat at the bottom not the top that he was setting on fire. If they would've been responsible enough to have put that torch up then this incident wouldn't have occurred so they added 40$ to my storage bill plus late fees when I want only three days late due to waiting on a trappings from Kyle. He took 3 weeks to respond to me and then was very rude and not understanding. So I would never recommend this uhaul facility to anyone. This isn't my first problem at this place either

Cierra J | Overall ExperienceA lot of policy changes over the time felt retaliatory and reactive towards bad former customers who would not feel the policy changes. Price also got too high for limited access. Ultimately while renting with yall I felt punished for other people's bad behavior and because I was staying with yall I (and the other customers) were left to pay the difference through rent increases and policy changes. Yall have an amazing facility and my stuff was safe but I feel like the appreciation of long term patronage is non existent (probably a sign of the times).
