When a customer makes a reservation at a certain location and it is confirmed, that is where he should pick up his equipment. I made a reservation in Bristol, Wisconsin and it was confirmed. The next day I was told I have to then go another 20 miles into Madison farther away from my destination to pick up my truck. That cost me both time and money. Something that should just not happen. Yes, your representative tried to help me by discounting my mileage rate. However, that was not enough or worth the extra 50 miles or so I had to drive

When I reserved the truck 10 days before the date we wanted it, I specified that we would need it from 9 am to 9 pm. I got a confirmation with those times the same day. When we went to pick it up, they had us down as picking it up at 5:45 pm. We did not change the times ever. We did get a truck, but it took the girl a while to figure out that we could use a one-way as an in town. When I showed her the confirmation, she acted like it wasn't a big deal. I asked if it happened often and the response was, "it's a computer program with glitches." Had she not found a truck, we would not have had help to move. We had limited help that could only help from 9-4. 5:45 would not have worked. I am pregnant and cannot lift heavy objects to help my husband and we can't afford to hire the helping hands offered by the U-Haul. I'm not sure if it was the location or the computer program, but if someone reserves something, it should be reserved for them for the time they've asked for it.

Only one person at the check in/out counter and several people in line before me. I left the vehicle at 4:45 pm and the check-out invoice was cut 8:47 am the next morning.

Better signage to get in and out of the parking lot. Perhaps some chairs in a waiting area for people returning vehicles and waiting for rides.

I used the self check-in on my phone and when I went to unlock the lock box, there was no key inside! I had to wait until someone showed up in the morning and was subsequently late to traveling the rest of the day. This was wildly dissapointing because I set up weddings on a strict timeline. Hopefully next time this will not be an issue.

I reserved my trailer st another location and was notified the DAY BEFORE by TEXT AND EMAIL (capitalized parts show anger). I DID NOT realize it was a changed location and assumed that it was a confirmation. So I went to my original place. The man there, whose badge said owner, was very uncaring that I now had to drive an additional 30 minutes and would be late to my appointment. He said I could change the appointment but I was already in a time crunch as I had to pick up my daughter from work. I then went to the Packers location and they were VERY nice so I calmed down. I really wish an attempt to call me and explain rather than a text or email. Even if a voicemail was left explaining that would have been better. Again, I saw the text and email but it was UNCLEAR TO ME that is was a change. I do not think I should have to pay for a service that I also am held responsible for the business changes and suffer consequences for a last minute change on your part.

Twice, recently I got Trucks from you and messes were made. We had to drive a distance to pick up first truck. Second truck the date of return were set up incorrect. .and I had less than 6 hrs to return vehicle when I had paid $150.00. I think additional training of employees is needed as well as customer service.

Very disorganized. I got several different, confusing stories on the phone. When I came in to pick up my truck the SINGLE employee was overwhelmed and actually had me come behind the counter and type in my info. So I would suggest better training, increased staffing AND clear directions to the entry, to the truck drop off area. Because it was very unclear where to go

Building is being renovated and business is short of trailors and employees. West Town and Atlas Ct. are more established and have the program together.

Truck was old and beat up, back area wasn’t swept out. Online check in verification took almost 15 minutes and required I give a secondary contact. The whole process would have just been faster to walk up to the desk.

I wanted to give a special thanks to Brittany, the general manager at the Uhaul on Packers where I rented a Uhaul. She exemplified great customer service when Uhaul accidentally overcharged me and I brought it to her attention. She called me personally, apologized, and refunded me the overcharge in a timely manner. That level of care and attention is probably why she's the general manager and why Uhaul as a company should keep hiring people like Brittany. -Sam

The equipment was not available that was promised. The site said it had 24 hour storage access but the facility closed at 8pm. I had to stay in town for an extra night to unload the truck the next morning. I was charged $23 for gas when I only drove 12.5 miles. The gas gauge was incorrect on the initial paperwork but they filled it out and made me sign it before I even saw the truck. They were so busy they could not check me in when I dropped off the truck. They told me they would check it in later and email the bill so I didn't see the $23 charge until I got the email later in the day.
